This should have remained closed, but Paypal decided to reopen and review without the authorization of my bank and myself. Bank dispute closed and paid as evidenced by enclosed letter.

Consumer Complaint: Paypal XXXX. Everyone knows this. Shame on anyone who works at paypal. I sold an item on XXXX item # XXXX. It was delivered by USPS on XX/XX/21, see tracking # XXXX. XXXX states that funds are available. But when I visit the worthless trash Paypal website, it says my funds are on hold, and Paypal is under the impression that the item hasn't even shipped. They are wrong. They are idiots. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Please cause them to release funds for the item so I can close my account and never deal with these XXXX ever again.

Consumer Complaint: 1. PayPal, without warning and time to respond, increased the requirements for a PayPal account that does not allow me to login to my existing account. ( I DO NOT have a text capable/enabled or any mobile phone, nor do I intend to bear the expense of mobile phone service just so I can continue to use an existing PayPal account. ) 2. PayPal has REMOVED INFORMATION from their web sties ON ALL methods of contacting them WITHOUT logging in to the account ( which I no longer can do because of the added requirement blocking access to my account ). XXXX. I was not provided with the opportunity to close my account and request that all my personal identity, financial information, and statements, purchase information etc. be deleted from their files / servers since THEY HAVE BLOCKED ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT, YET REQUIRE ME TO LOGIN TO THAT ACCOUNT TO RECEIVE SERVICE. 4. PayPal is effectively blocking me from control of my personal data - e.g. is blocking me from closing my account and removing all my personal information from their service.

Consumer Complaint: venmo refused to release my funds even after a 180 day hold venmo closed my account without nontice as to why and put a freeze on my funds i contacted then on many occassions for the last 6 months in XX/XX/XXXX i got an email stating that my account was closed but with no stated reason and that i will not able to use their service and that the funds that are in the account will be on hold for 180 days and upon the complete of the 180 days i will get an email requesting were to transfer the funds to I have yet to receive that email and i have not been able to get any resolution or reason for then holding my funds for i have submitted all the documentation that was asked of me to verify my Identity and the only answer that i have got is that there was nothing more that can inform of nor could they even give me a reason why they said that this is being handled through a special department and they will contact me in 5 business day via email this has yet to be received they are holding over XXXX XXXX dollars of my funds for no reason I have been using venmo banking for over 2year and i have never had any issue untill now.. the last conversation i had with them was on XX/XX/XXXX and the rep told me that this is under review and that it could take up to a year for this review to be completed but not for sure and yet still no reason was given to me as to why for the hold I have had no issues as far as charge backs, disputes. or even NSF payments or deposits this is unfair and in valid banking i have followed and did all that was requested by venmo i have waited out the 180 days I have followed the policy and proceedures why is it that i cant get my money and why cant they honor and follow their own policy and proceedures their actions that they are doing to the consumers can not be legal for them to do.

How is this acceptable? I can go in to any bank and open an account with a government issued ID or If I get pulled over by a police man/woman - they would accept my government ID. I want to close my PP account and never transact with them again.

Consumer Complaint: I have had a paypl account for many years used for buying and selling on XXXX. All of my transactions are documented from start to finish with all paperwork that is required. I have not had charge backs or complaints on my account since I opened it. All happy customers and great reviews on both platform 's. Recently I started selling my collection of sneakers and there was a uprise in transactions on my account. I got a email from PayPal on Wednesday XX/XX/2021 at XXXX XX/XX/XXXX saying PayPal locked me out of my account and is holding roughly almost {$1600.00} dollars for 180 days. I tried calling XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to rectify the issue and they said there's nothing they can do and wait 180 to receive my money because of charge backs .I have never once had a charge back or problem with that platform. I only have one pending transaction for {$260.00}. I think this is unnecessary and not right. Paypal has had several class action law suits for this reason. I'm not unwilling to work with them, but they are being unreasonable and giving me very broad reasons for the freeze. I don't care about working with them anymore. I just want my hard earned money. Please, any help is greatly appreciated.
