Consumer Complaint: The company I am filing the report against is PAYPAL. 1 ) My friend delivered a baby in XX/XX/2020. 2 ) I used PAYPAL to transfer money on XX/XX/2020 to my friend on this occasion. 3 ) PAYPAL put that transaction as pending. PAYPAL withdraw the funds from my bank account and refuses to pay it to my friend until i submit the required documentation. 4 ) Their required documentation is to upload child 's birth certificate in order to release the funds that they have already withdrawn from my bank account. Why would anybody upload a friends child 's birth certificate to be able to give gift funds? 5 ) i requested them to cancel the transaction. 6 ) they continue to ignore my request and ask me to upload the child 's birth certificate in order to do anything with the funds they are keeping. Not sure how many such incidents have occurred and how much money PAYPAL is holding from people and making money on our money.

The only thing I'm selling is XXXX for XXXX I've read through their User agreement and it doesn't say that I can't sell that anywhere. My reaputation is also very good with 21 total feedbacks which 19 were positive. I assume this needs to be a mistake on paypals end.
