With the following message : {$1300.00} USD ; PayPal Posting Date : XX/XX/2021 ; Payment to : Paypal ; PayPal 's damages caused by Acceptable Use Policy violation ;. But the problem is that I don't know what exactly Acceptable Use Policy I violated and they refuse to answer specifically what I violated that gave them the right to debit that amount of money from me. Without a specific explanation I am unable to see if I truly owed them this money or if it was stolen from me. PayPal refuses to answer questions with specific answers, instead the speak in generalities like " Acceptable Use Policy Violation ''. I want someone from PayPal to call me at XXXX and explain to me specifically what I did to authorize them to deduct {$1300.00} Paypal has ZERO real customer service and I have the documents to prove it.

I was told I'll receive an email about withdrawing the funds in my account after the XXXX days wait period. I waited XXXX days and got no email or notification. I knew it's gone past XXXX days, so I tried to login to my account and withdraw my money but they won't let me add my bank account to initiate the withdrawal. I tried to contact them via their phone lines during business hours but I was kept on the line for XXXX hours XXXX : minutes XXXX seconds without getting to speak with a real person. The call was disconnected by them and wasn't returned. I have tried to contact them on XXXX and XXXX as well but no valid response regarding this issue. The email linked to my PayPal account was hacked yesterday, i tried to update this on their site but they wouldn't let me do that. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I made a transaction through PayPal to pay for services for a vendor event. I paid this organizer in hopes to hold my spot for this event, however after investigating the person I was told to send the money to it became apparent that it was a scam as I contacted the location in which the event was to be held and they had no idea of such an event even happening. I attempted to contact the person who initially gave me the information and she reported that the name of the person I sent my money to was the " XXXX XXXX '' after a quick XXXX search I find out that this is a common scam with the same email address that is connected to someone over seas. XXXX maybe?? Not sure. But I confronted this person and told them I wanted my money back because she was a scam. I did not get any further response from them again. Unfortunately when contacting PayPal regarding this issue, they are not able to refund my money because it was sent through " friends and family '' and not as merchant goods. The amount that I was charged was {$63.00}. I went through my bank to attempt to get my money but they were only able to issue a temporary refund until further investigation ... which they are closing it as they don't do business with 3rd party transactions.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received {$200.00} from a family member, I then try to transfer my funds to a card attached to my account And I got a message saying to try again later. Then get a message saying that I had limitations on my account into upload a picture of my ID and A picture of the card on file I Uploaded my picture ID and the card on file was a virtual card therefore I took a picture of the virtual card and Uploaded that period. Next thing you know I got a message from PayPal saying that my account was closed in they can no longer do business with me And told me I had to wait a 180 days to receive a email in discussing how to go about receiving my funds. Prior to this day I've had A couple other transactions and everything went through fine So I am confused as to why PayPal Close my account and expects me to wait a 180 days for my money.

Consumer Complaint: My complaint is against PayPal. They have permanently closed my two PayPal accounts on XXXX-XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ( reference ID : XXXX ) and are holding {$4700.00} and {$2700.00} for over 180 days. On multiple occasions, customer service assured me that the money would be released after 180 days. Not only did they not release the money after 180 days, the transaction page indicates that both accounts had the money transferred to PayPal account, without notification. The first transfer was made on XX/XX/XXXX ( transaction ID : XXXX ). The transaction on the second account was made on XX/XX/XXXX ( transaction ID : XXXX ). Both transfers were due to " PayPal 's damage caused by Acceptable Use Policy violation ''. There was a prior notification stating that I would receive an email on how to access my funds after 180 days. The email was never sent to me and both my accounts indicate a balance of {$0.00}. Thank you, XXXX XXXX. Please see below : You can't use PayPal anymore At PayPal, we value a safe community for our customers to do business. We noticed activity in your account thats inconsistent with our User Agreement and we no longer offer you PayPal services. Any bank or credit card information linked to your PayPal account can not be removed nor can it be used to create a new account. You can still log in and see your account information but you cant send or receive money.
