Consumer Complaint: My PayPal account under email XXXX was limited due to a past balance on 2 other accounts that I was not aware of. I immediately paid both accounts upon learning of the balances. The payments were made over a month ago, but my account still remains limited. PayPal continues to refuse to remove the limitation stating that I need to pay the balance. They tell me I have to contact the collection agency that I paid to have them notify PayPal that I've paid. The collection agency tells me I have to contact PayPal. In the middle of all this, PayPal is refusing to remove the limitations on my account despite my providing them proof of full payment of past balances over a month ago. They are holding {$310.00} of my money unlawfully due to these limitations.

Also I'm facing eviction because I can't pay my rent I can't pay my electric or my heat I have no money for food it goes on and on

'' but visiting that hyperlink lands you on a general settings page with no option to " close the card ''.
