Consumer Complaint: Last week, I attempted to make a cryptocurrency purchase from PayPal in order to procure a digital asset ; however, was unable to send the token ( XXXX ) to the seller -- -- and REMAINED unable to externally transfer the digital currency ( Litecoin ) I purchased. I've spent hours with PayPal and my bank in attempts to rectify this debacle, and finally was able to have my bank DECLINE payment to PayPal, who then contacted me after suspending my PayPal account 's funding ( bank acct ) source, and verbalized that if not paid for, that PayPal would pursue collections, which could/would detrimentally affect my currently XXXX rated consumer credit profile. While I'm sure this roadblock is spelled out somewhere deep inside PayPal\ 's XXXXlegal manuscript, *NOWHERE* was this factor communicated to me during the purchase process. The digital asset I wished to buy ceased to exist ( sold.. ) not long after I determined the token I'd purchased was stuck in XXXX -- -- and, hence, I have XXXX need/desire for the XXXX any longer; again however, PayPal has repeatedly refused to void the transaction, nor refund any money paid. It's ludicrous that PayPal can " sell '' digital currency that is fluctuating in value by the second -- -and did so XXXX for over XXXX days after I attempted to make the purchase/acquisition -- -yet the purchaser ( me ) was unable to utilize/transfer out the funds/XXXX under contract. Obviously, the fungible asset could be entirely worthless over the XXXX period that transpired before my bank finally stopped payment on the purchase. In digging through the very lengthy, confusing legal/XXXX literature, which is buried deeply in multiple menus on PayPal 's site, it's virtually impossible to ascertain accurate fees, terms and comprehensible parameters pertaining to buying, selling, transferring ... .XXXX XXXX ... .the digital currency PayPal purports to offer to it's user base. I've attached an image showing the XXXX in my PayPal account, yet I was completely unable to utilize the asset for the purposes I purchased it for.

XXXX XXXX XXXX also classifies the unit as an illegal rental unit. There can be no consent of the tenant that would make the contract legal IF the contract was illegal from the beginning, which it was/is per XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Attached are copies of the city code, Supreme Court Ruling and proof of lack of permit/inspection as required by city code and law. I have addressed the former complaint with XXXX XXXX and provided legal support in additional disputes, but they are still being ignored. In XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, a Florida Supreme Court case, the court held, [ t ] his, then, is the undoubted rule, that, when a contract is expressly prohibited by law, no court of justice will entertain an action upon it, or upon any asserted rights growing out of it. And the reason is apparent ; for to permit this would be for the law to aid in its own undoing. It seems that if there is ever a true public interest it is in housing and the conditions that we allow people to live in. We have housing laws imposed for many good reasons including health and safety. So the question seems to be if your landlord entered into a lease with you, knowing that the rental property did not meet housing code, is there really even a binding contract at all? If there is not, and the contract, in essence, is illegal, should this not prevent a court from applying XXXX XXXX ( statute that authorizes eviction ) awarding damages to a landlord who was suing for breach against a tenant. The Supreme Court held in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, that [ XXXX ] o court of justice can, in its nature, be made the handmaid of iniquity. Courts are instituted to carry into effect the laws of the country. How can they become auxiliary to the consummation of violations of law? There can be no civil right where there can be no legal remedy, and there can be no legal remedy for that which is itself illegal.

Consumer Complaint: Someone hacked my PayPal account that was linked to my checking account and transferred {$6000.00} plus a {$4.00} fee out of my checking account to themselves. I contacted PayPal to report that it was an unauthorized transaction, but they responded stating it was not unauthorized and that it was consistent with my transaction history. The PayPal account has been dormant for years, because I thought it was closed. I have never used their friends and family transfer feature. I have appealed their decision and am waiting for a response. I believe they still have a small window to stop this transaction, but they appear unwilling. I have also contacted my financial institution and filed an unauthorized withdrawal form. I am not including screenshots of this, because it contains all of my financial information.

Consumer Complaint: A friend sent me money on Venmo, but selected that it was for good or service without realizing that that would give a cut of the money to Venmo. Venmo then deducted a portion of the money from the amount I received. I contacted Venmo and found out that there is no way to reverse this transaction. Their position is that, when this happens, they want to keep the money they took no matter what. I asked what their policy is to protect consumers, and they have a policy to protect consumers from fraud by other vendors, but no policy to protect consumers from Venmo. In this case, they refunded to me the money that they took, but they reiterated that this was a one-time courtesy and that their policy is just to take the money. I am uploading a transcript of the chat session where they explain their position.

Consumer Complaint: VENMO appears to have issues with their verification process on their end ; it looks like corporate fraud if I didn't know better. I have supplied extensive documents pertaining to identification, my business documents, client transactions, banking statements, personals, etc. Everything is valid and up to date. Despite all this, VENMO still is not allowing me to add my valid bank account details and has abruptly and permanently disabled my account. There is no explanation. There is no appeal process. There is no one to discuss the matter. VENMO simply cites their user agreement and ends any discourse. How can a company deny extensive valid documentations and unjustly steal my money?

Consumer Complaint: Venmo is having an ongoing issue with their app where the users are not able to access the funds in their accounts. My funds are being held in my business Venmo account with no option to transfer them to my bank. The transfer button has completely disappeared. I have been trying to resolve the issue with the company since XX/XX/2023 ( over a month ) and every time I speak to someone they say there is no update but they will escalate it to the app engineers. I am told every time that I will be reached out to within 3-4 business days. As mentioned this has been ongoing for a month and no one has reached out to me. I have called every week for updates and they say the same thing- theyll escalate it, no update. They are unable or unwilling to facilitate a manual transfer, and have no option for me to receive the funds that are in my account. I asked if I am the only one who is having this issue and they stated, no, that its an issue many users are facing which means they can not access the funds in their Venmo accounts, either. I do not understand how this is acceptable. The customer service will not provide info for customers to be in contact with management or higher level of escalation. I am essentially stuck, with no options to receive the money I made through my small business markets. This is detrimental to my company as I need that money to pay bills. Etc.
