I have been trying to find answer fron PHH they have not returned my wife who was sender of the payments but one the XXXX. My wife XXXX XXXX XXXX time was her name now it is changed to XXXX. The mortgage company is saying they returned all funds, they have not this is first issue, second I wanting PHH to reverse mortgage to me. My wife paid the money to cure default in XXXX of 2022, they accepted the money and then foreclosure after it was cure default.

Consumer Complaint: The Mortgage company told me that I can catch up my mortgage if I pay XXXX. They said to give the XXXX and pay the remaining balance at the end of the month. I send the XXXX from a local XXXX store thru XXXX wire service on the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. THe mortgage company received the payment but claimed that they sent the payment back because it was short. they said to send the money back to them with the remaining balance. which was not what we agreed on. I go back to XXXX to request for my XXXX payment and the transfer service said that the money was never sent back or rejected by PHH Mortgage and the mortgage comppany is asking me to send them another XXXX or my house will foreclose. My money is gone thatbI sent them or no where to be found. and it was the mortgage companies fault. Please help. XXXX a XXXX XXXX XXXX man on a fixed income. What dhould I do? Please help. Consumer Complaint: My mortgage was sold to PHH Mortgage early this year. My taxes have been due since XX/XX/2023 but no matter how may calls I make they have not paid them. At first they were paid on the wrong lot. That was resolved by sending me a reimbursement check for that amount months after I complained. However they never did pay the taxes on my house after that. I started calling about it in XXXX. I have gotten the run around at every call or email. I was told they sent the check in May to my tax dep. I got a final notice letter this month and called again. I was told they sent it but did not know what was going on. This week they send an email that the they tax dept. is working on it still. I called and was told they are working on it but can't tell me anything XXXX is who the emails tell me to contact. She nor any of the other agents have a way for me to talk to the tax department for more information nor do they have a supervisor I can speak with. My taxes are past due already and the final deadline is XXXX XXXXI have an escrow account I don't know why they won't take care of it. I am afraid I will lose my house over this.

Consumer Complaint: We paid our mortgage through ACH. Mortgage payments have been deducted every month on the first business day after the first of the month. PHH reversed the XXXX and XXXX payments on our account and IMMEDIATELY transferred the loan to XXXX. XXXX, upon receiving the loan, thinks we are two months behind on our payments because PHH reversed the payments and put the money in the escrow account. PHH then created a statement for XXXX that indicates we did not pay our XXXX or XXXX mortgage payments, and XXXX also believes we are 90 days behind on our mortgage because PHH FRAUDULENTLY REVERSED OUR PAYMENTS. We did not receive the money back in our account. When we have tried to contact either PHH or XXXX, we get " your call will be escalated '' but NOTHING IS HAPPENING. It is unconscionable that PHH can reverse the application of our funds to our loan ( which, it turns out, are sitting in our new escrow account at XXXX ). It is similarly unconscionable that XXXX can not, when presented with evidence of our payments ( which have been provided, including PHH 's statements reflecting our payments PHH 's FRAUDULENT REVERSAL OF THE PAYMENTS and our bank account statements which show the payments deducted from our accounts ) stop the erroneous mail saying that we are in DEFAULT on our loan WHEN THEY HAVE THE MONEY IN OUR ESCROW ACCOUNT THAT EXACTLY MATCHES THE TWO PAYMENTS THEY SAY WE ARE MISSING. No investigation on XXXX 's part appears to account for the mental stress caused by this situation. They insist that they have 15 days to resolve the matter, EVEN THOUGH IT IS OBVIOUS AND THEIR REP SAID IT WAS CLEARLY IN THE ESCROW ACCOUNT. We have had mortgages for 20 years. They transfer regularly and we have NEVER been behind on our mortgage. We have NEVER had this happen before and can only attribute it to PHH 's incompetence and FRAUD.

The mortgage company at the time was XXXX, although my loan was initiated with XXXX Bank. XXXX XXXX advised that the best course of action would be to file bankruptcy while we seek a mortgage modification from XXXX. I entered bankruptcy in XX/XX/XXXX, the mortgage modification paperwork was received by XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX denied the mortgage modification in XX/XX/XXXX ( during the XXXX pandemic ) citing income inadequacy. The attorneys set a mediation to appeal the denial. The servicer then allowed me to resubmit the mortgage modification paperwork. I attempted over the course of the next XXXX years ( while still in bankruptcy ) to complete the mortgage modification obliging all requests and never received a response. My bankruptcy ended in XX/XX/XXXX. I made XXXX additional bankruptcy payments for XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. The bankruptcy will be XXXX with a successful completion within the next 30 days. I still did not receive a response and the mortgage servicer declined my modification citing incomplete paperwork. I was informed that the foreclosure on my property has recommenced.

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Complaint against PHH Mortgage Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to bring to your attention the frustrating and disappointing experience I have had with PHH Mortgage. I have been working with a mortgage defense attorney against PHH Mortgage because every consumer finance protection law they have not been complying with their contact for a family transfer is slow, and they have not sent me letters in the mail on what to do next. When they do respond, they leave a cliff hanger saying the process is incomplete and ask me to contact the modification counselor 's office. Unfortunately, even when I contact their counseling office, they state that I'm not authorized even after probate and recorded the deed of transferring title have been completed. Even when I say I am the successor of interest, and I have the necessary legal documents, the response from PHH remains the same. This is extremely frustrating, and I do not know where to turn. I would appreciate it if you could investigate my case and determine why PHH is refusing to comply with the Consumer Finance Protection Act and other relevant laws. It is my hope that this situation will be resolved quickly and efficiently so that we can move forward without any further hassle.
