Consumer Complaint: Back between XXXX and XX/XX/2015, I requested for a deferment on my student loans that had gone out of deferment. I was informed that all payments are deferred till the following year. Because I was told they were deferred, I never checked for any correspondence from Nelnet. In XX/XX/2015, I noticed on my credit report that Nelnet reported my account being late for more than 3 months. Because I was told by their agent that my loan was adjusted over the phone till the following year there was no obligation to make any payments and their reporting is inaccurate. I have disputed this several times and they have not done a proper investigation and accept responsibility because it was one of their agents that informed me that my payments were deferred. I have asked for the phone conversation on that day and they couldn't produce it. This has a negative impact on my credit and I want them to do proper investigation on what happened on that day in XX/XX/2015 when i requested for the deferment. I have a 100 % track record of never being late with any of my creditors. This is the only account that has ever been late and that's out of the norm. This is a clear mistake on their end and they are refusing to take responsibility of their own mistake. I have filed a dispute with XXXX in the past and they have not done a proper investigation into this and still this has been on my account for almost 4 years now and I am 100 percent sure they are wrong on this one and my track record shows it and you can see i paid all my lenders 100 % on time for the past 14 years.

Consumer Complaint: Hello and thank you for taking the time to review my issue. I have been struggling to have my federal student loan consolidated for over 4 years now with multiple late payments resulting on my credit score. I am currently paying on the Great Lakes Stafford Loans ( serviced by NelNet ) separately from the rest of my student loans as a result of their refusal to consolidate even after multiple requests and applications for them to do so. I am attaching record of my consecutive late payments on my credit report resulting from my struggles stemming from this issue with Great Lakes and severe health issues that my father underwent during that time which forced me to relocate and assist my family. At this time I am struggling to pay my car loan that sits at a 19 % rate, my credit cards and other debt that is feasting on me with high interest rates due to the derogatory marks from my student loans. Please, if there is anything you guys can do to assist I would be forever grateful. I have not gone late since this past streak on any of my credit accounts.

Consumer Complaint: This particular account situation that is lately filing on my own credit document has a seriously unfavorable relation to my personal ability to obtain a present loan application. I highly recommend you generate verification that Credit Union has been reported completely in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act regulations, it's really a serious problem to misreport. Moreconfirmation of the aforesaid item too. My proper request mustover, I was never 30 days/60 days/120 days late in any of my payments and I'm not greatly tuned in to the date opened so I prefer to ask you be investigated as soon as possible and confirmed to be correct. Consumer Complaint: My account was in forbearance due to unemployment around the middle of 2019. Around XX/XX/2019 I get a notification that my credit score dropped over 120 points. Upon looking into this I discovered that Nelnet reported it being over 90 days past due when it was not, the account was in financial hardship forbearance. When I called them to clarify this they stated that my account was 90 days due & that they never received any paperwork for the forbearance which I had mailed out to them earlier in the year. They are refusing to correct the 90 days past due on my credit reports & that they contacted me but I was not contacted at all, I reached out to them once I discovered the inaccurate reporting. If they were sending mail it was to an old previous address which I no longer live at.
