Consumer Complaint: I HAVE DISPUTED THE INACCURATE CREDIT REPORTING WITH THE CREDIT BUREAUS AND NELNET. THEY DO NOT HAVE COMPLETE REPORTING OF MY CREDIT HISTORY. IT IS MISSING THE MAJORITY OF MY ONTIME PAYMENTS. NELNET HAS ALSO REPORTED ME LATE MORE THAN 10 TIMES SINCE THE PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN DEFERRED SINCE THE PANDEMIC. THERE HAS BEEN NO PAYMENTS DUE YET THEY HAVE REPPORTED MANY LATES TO MY CREDIT. THEY ALSO HAVE PRIOR LATES ON MY CREDIT AND DID NOT PROVIDE ANY PROOF OF THESE LATE PAYMENTS. MY LOANS HAVE BEEN DEFERRED SINCE I GOT THEM. NELNET SENT ME A PROOF LETTER THAT STATES THAT I WAS NOT LATE, HOWEVER THEY HAVE REFUSED TO UPDATE MY CREDIT REPORT TO SHOW THIS. I HAVE BEEN DISPUTING THESE LATES FOR MORE THAN 120 DAYS TO NO AVAIL. I HAVE INCLUDED THE LETTER FROM NELNET BELOW NELNET LOAN SERVICES, ACCOUNT XXXX, XXXX, OPEN XX/XX/ NELNET LOAN SERVICES, ACCOUNT XXXX, XXXX OPEN XX/XX/

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Nelnet on XX/XX/XXXX to let them know that they are incorrectly reporting my student loans. They have reported them as included in my bankruptcy and they are NOT! I filed XXXX XXXX XXXX LAST YEAR XXXX! My accounts have been CURRENT before the XXXX. As a matter of fact, they are getting ready to be discharged due to me being 100 % pemanently XXXX XXXX XXXX They blamed the credit bureau for the mistake but XXXX is reporting the same info! They refuse to correct the situation and keep blaming the credit reporting agencies! I suffered a XXXX point loss to my XXXX report and a XXXX point drop to my XXXX report. This is unacceptable. My next step is to sue in federal court for the damages this has caused to my report!

Consumer Complaint: I was able to seek legal advice about information and experiences that can be shared onto my consumer report. From my research I noticed that Congress granted everyone rights as an consumer dealing with our consumer reports. There are several laws this company have purposely ignored by furnishing this account onto my consumer report for over a decade now. I was able to reach out to all 3 bureaus that were reporting this account and requested to have it removed and only 1 of the 3 complied. This lead up to me now filing an complaint. Violation codes are as follows : 15 U.S. Code 1666b ; 15 U.S. Code 1681b ; 15 U.S. Code 1681e. Delete account immediately. I do not consent to you furnishing my account with any XXXX party agencies. The transactions and experiences should not be shared with any other companies without my consent.

Consumer Complaint: The Department of Education/Nelnet is reporting account inaccuracies across consumer 's XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX consumer reports. XXXX report shows that the account is paid as agreed and never late but XXXX and XXXX is showing that the account has been late for 90 days. Also, 20 U.S. Code 1232g ( B ) does not include credit reporting agencies access to a person 's educational record without consent. I never gave Nelnet, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX written consent to furnish information regarding my educational record, let alone inaccurate/adverse information. 15 U.S. Code 1681c states no adverse information reporting on my consumer report. I am demanding the account and transaction information to be removed immediately from my consumer report. 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( 2 ) states transactions of an account is excluded from the consumer report. Consumer Complaint: I have disputed late payments on my credit report. Nelnet can not provide me with a date that payments were due. When calling the Nelnet customer service, I am advised to mail in or email my dispute, which I have done several times. I am also informed that the accounts are close, which I am aware of. However, they continue to report late payments on all three of my major credit reports without proof that it was ever late. I have also tried disputing this with all three credit reports. The credit reporting companies then rely on what Nelnet provides them and I never receive a copy of what is provided. Nelnet is unable to prove that I was late on any payments and gives me the run around when I am trying to dispute this.
