Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 at XXXX XXXX, I contacted Navy Federal Credit Union 's customer service regarding a concern I had with the check deposit processing time. I had deposited a check over a XXXX dollars in the on-site ATM at the Navy Federal Credit Union 's local branch in XXXX, GA on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX. After waiting on hold for an agent to answer my call, I was able to speak to an agent. She elaborated on the check deposit processing time of 7 business days, and our conversation ended on a professional note. However, after I ended the call, my checking account was flagged by the Navy Federal Credit Union security department at XXXXXXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I was unable to log in with my correct credentials and was left confused about the situation. The next day, on XX/XX/XXXX, I called Navy customer service and was informed that I needed to speak to the security department. But the agent told me the wait time was two hours or more. She suggested that I go to the Navy Federal Credit Union local branch. When I went to the branch, I was told that they could not assist me with unlocking my account. The manager on duty could not provide an explanation about my locked account with their security department. She suggested that I call the security department after XXXX XXXX. However, when I called again after XXXX XXXX, I found out that the security department 's hours of operation were from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX. I am an XXXX and I deposited a significant check amount at Navy Federal Credit Union XXXX However, my transaction was flagged as suspicious activity. I am confused about why Americans can't deposit a significant amount of checks into their account without being flagged as suspicious. Can you help me understand why this happened and why my checking account is still locked?

Consumer Complaint: Purchased a credit reporting subscription from creative analytics company. My account was under review for almost a year. I sent an email on XX/XX/2023 to cancel due to not being able to utilize the services. The company replied back with an email stating my account had been activated that same day sorry for the inconvenience they werent willing to refund my account. They also offered to report two extra reports if I agreed to keeping services. I replied and declined the offer advised the company I did not want to keep the service. I reached out to my bank and filed a dispute the bank advised they would put a stop payment on the account. However the bank has allowed the company to continue to take funds from the account. I am very upset with the company and with the bank. Someone reached out from this company stating she would refund me once I provide my login information. I advised I do not have access to that information anymore and why did I need to give login info for the company to honor my request for canceling. Providing the company with login credentials means they could rack on on products under my account. This company is stealing.

Consumer Complaint: I was XXXX in the Illinois XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX through XXXX. During that time someone gained access to my debit card and charged over {$15000.00} worth of charges to my account. They updated the amount t to {$12000.00} almost immediately after receiving my claim for some reason. I sent a letter to NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION in XXXX ( which they received XX/XX/2023 ) to explain that my account had been wrongfully accessed and I was in jail and needed it to be locked because of fraud. They locked my account on XX/XX/XXXX. When I exited jail on XXXX I called them and explained the situation. They had me submit my incarceration paperwork and all of my identity verifying information. Once I submitted everything they needed, They told me they have a XXXX liability policy and it was clearly fraud and that I needed to fill out paperwork to begin my fraud claim. I did that and submitted everything ( after many MANY attempts to get them to accept a fax ). They opened my claim on XX/XX/2023 and told me that I would receive a provisional credit anywhere from 2 hrs to 10 business days. I continued to call and check on the status of my claim and they kept changing the provisional credit dates. It went from the XXXX, to the XXXX and then to the XXXX. On the XXXX I called to find out why I was still not receiving my credit and they informed me that my claim was denied. Navy federal is known for not paying fraud claims but this is insane. I mean I was in XXXX. Theres absolutely no way that I couldve made these charges and a fraud claim couldnt be anymore clear cut than this. I need something to be done about this and have my money returned.

When I called, there was no mention of a check processing wait. In an effort to resolve the matter, my brother, with my explicit permission, deposited the check on my behalf. Shockingly, this led to my account being flagged for fraud. Now, I'm told I must wait five days or visit a branch. As the account owner, this is unacceptable. I am reaching out to a consumer rights lawyer for assistance in resolving this unjust situation promptly. The bank 's actions are causing undue stress and inconvenience. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX I. Contacted Navy Federal Credit Union to have my son 's social security funds released. The day before I called as well because the funds have been sitting in pending for a few days but was told to call back at XXXX the XXXX so they can be released. I called and the automated message mentioning to release the funds was not there and I wasn't able to release them through the app. When I called I was told by XXXX they can not release my funds because of me having a charge off account..nothing in their brochures mention that and I've never had this issue before. I can understand if it was my money but I don't even have my account with them anymore because of all the bank fees I was charged and them not doing the math correctly on a returned check. That is not my issue though. None of my past with the bank should affect my sons account. The brochure doesn't mention any of the reasons I wave given. I called multiple times and was told he wasn't him and he became upset so I became more involved. His age and my reported issues are not grounds to go against policy. It indicates that funds can be released one day early. The funds have been in pending on this account for well over a week so they have them. The release date is the XXXX and we're trying to get them a day early, like we have always been able to except for today.
