Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 a mobile deposit was made to my XXXX XXXX checking account for {$10000.00}. The check was made out to my wife XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) from XXXX. On XX/XX/2022 at XXXX mountain time the check deposited into my account. On XX/XX/2022 a little after XXXXXXXX XXXX mountain time the money was taken back out of my account and put on a hold for 5 additional days. According to the bank Navy Federal Credit Union the check that was used raised red flags after it was deposited into my account. While the money was in my account I was using it to make payment arrangements for miscellaneous items which are unable to be completed. I was informed from the bank that any attempts to withdraw from the account will result in overdraft fees. Overdraft fees from this bank have resulted in over {$800.00} since the beginning of this year alone because the bank will not allow any overdraft protection on my account despite attempts at adding this. Throughout the years I have lost countless money due to the overdraft fees. I am currently at a negative balance on my account because of the reversal of the check funds. I will be facing a financial hardship because of the situation I have been forced into for something that was an error on the banks system according to a supervisor I had spoken to.

IN ADDITION I DEPOSITED A CHECK INTO MY SAVINGS. NAVY FEDERAL STOLE MY MONEY FROM MY SAVINGS TO PAY THE CREDIT CARD AFTER THE LETTER WAS SENT. THIS HAPPENED ON XX/XX/2022. I called to have them reverse it they refused. the supervisor was nasty and I informed her that it was unlawful but she was adamant about it. She said it was legal. i explained to her that lawful and legal was not the same. she then proceed to send me the terms and agreement which does not apply here. I am not an employee. No policy overrides law. This grounds for a lawsuit. i also sent them another letter that was delivered express mail and received on XX/XX/XXXX stating I am the original creditor and they are the debtor. they should credit my account for 3 business days from the postmark. they have not done so. i sent them a notice of liability and the terms of conditions if they refused what will be the monetary consequences.

Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: I got a loan to pay off some debts but when I got the loan. When getting the loan I was not allowed to change the date of the payments. I was told that I could change the payment date after getting the loan but I was then told that I can not change the payment date. Also, they have a section that says I will also be required to pay a late fee because if my payment is not paid by XXXX then there is a XXXX $ later fee. If I can not change the date of my payment then I will be late every month so they are hitting me with that fee each month. The is no option even if i schedule payments ahead of time I still get a late fee. This is an unfair Practice.

Consumer Complaint: Navy Federal Credit Union has gotten progressively dangerous to their members. Average hold time is over 45 minutes to make routine banking transactions. On XX/XX/22 NFCU charges me for a NSF fee when I had the proper amount of money in my account to cover an ACH. They laughed at me and then put me on hold for 30 more minutes. They are deceitful and their business model makes it nearly impossible to resolve any issues. Please help. Thanks for your time and for grounding these entitled institutions that prey on military. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the CEO of Navy Federal Credit Union via email to request that she review my account and allow me to reestablish a credit worth relationship with the bank. She agreed and I was allowed a new account, clean slate and a fresh start with the credit union or so I believed. On or about XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a credit card and a refinance of my mortgage ( I was denied for both ). When I received a response from the credit union in the mail as to why I was denied for both, each letter stated that I had previously caused Navy Federal a significant loss. The reasons for denial were not the usual, your debt to income ratio is too high, credit card balances too high or you do not meet credit score requirements for these products. For the record at the time of applying my score directly from the bureaus were XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. I sent XXXX XXXX another email on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX requesting that she have a senior executive research what had happened and why the response of denials. Three executives from NFCU contacted me and I ask via phone and email " if I was not going to be allowed a totally clean slate and have access to all the NFCU products why give me a new account? '' None of the executives could answer that question so I sent XXXX XXXX another email requesting info on why I was given a new account with conditions and not a regular savings and checking account and to date neither the execs or XXXX XXXX have responded in any format.

Consumer Complaint: I began to work on my credit file last year when I noticed that several accounts were reporting negatively that I had no knowledge of. While I was able to rectify most of the accounts, one remains, which is the account reporting from Navy Federal. At the time this account was opened, I was federally incarcerated. It was clearly a case of identity theft. I provided not only the credit bureaus, but Navy Federal with a signed FTC fraud affidavit, an affidavit they required for their bank, my incarceration records, and a police report. It was not possible for me to apply for credit. I have tried without avail and demand that not only the credit bureau, but also Navy Federal remove this information as this is causing me great financial harm as I try to rebuild my life and future. Both are in violation of SEVERAL laws in regards to credit reporting.
