Consumer Complaint: During XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, Navy federal agreed to enroll me in their hardship program during covid. I was accepted into the program and the company reported my payments as late which is now affecting my credit score. I have reached out to the company asking to remove the late payments as it is a violation of the CARS ACT. The company refuse and states the information is accurate. I have been with the company for 13 years and never had a late payment. This is unacceptable and a complete violation of my rights.

Consumer Complaint: Hello I have an account with navy federal credit union my card was stolen recently and it was several charges made which I didn't notice because I had just placed the funds in my checking account for my monthly bills to be paid but after receiving a call from one of my bills that the funds were not available for the bill I quickly checked my account then looked for my card then called navy federal credit union they took my dispute I told them I believe someone took my card after leaving XXXX the same day I went to the bank I was advised to go to a branch and get a new card I'm physically XXXX so I didn't have a way there right away but when I got there a week later i drove almost two hours away from my home an they informed me that my debit card privileges was suspended for a year which is totally unfair to me im physically XXXX I most times use my card to deposit money for bills it's like being victimized all over again this time by my bank a year is very harsh they're making it seem like I did something wrong and I absolutely did not i reached out for an appeal i have screenshot they responded within two days saying their decision was final it was the fastest appeal i have ever saw please help me

NFCU wanted a full bank statement from which the payment was made to close the loan. I sent them the statement and still XXXX days later there has been no movement on this transfer. The balance was {$2900.00} after that payment. My Statement date is XX/XX/2023. I made a payment of {$2300.00} on XX/XX/2023 BEFORE the cut off time and, immediately my available credit limit increased while the payment was Pending.. The Statement was posted on my account on this day but, had not generated being the Statement closing of the billing cycle is the XXXX. My payment was still pending XXXX, the XXXX it finally posted to my account. Even though I made my payment before the Statement generated they reported my account. Navy Federal reported the prior balance of {$2900.00} BEFORE my payment to the CRAs on the XX/XX/2023 and, XX/XX/2023 to XXXX and XXXX reporting agencies that effected my Utilization rate. I file a complaint XXXX XXXX regarding this repeated reporting. In their response to the complaint the company says and, I quote Navy Federal sends credit reporting information once per month within the week of the issuance of the account statement. If I pay my account payment on the Due Date and, Statement Date why is the balance BEFORE the payment is reported and not the balance AFTER my payment. Navy Federal is not accurately reporting my account. If they can report to the reporting agencies the next day after the Billing cycle close, they can report my payment I made BEFORE the Billing Cycle close. This balance will be on my credit report for 30 days and this is unfair and, misleading of judgement to my character, and effects my ability to obtain credit. Such reporting effects the way lenders whom access my credit report. views me. I demand a correction to the reporting and my Utilization rate.

XXXX XXXX XXXX is straight out not telling me the truth or XXXX is doing what they please. I called XXXX this morning after i spoke to XXXX federal, They told me that's what XXXX XXXX reported. I turned around and told XXXX how is that possible if XXXX XXXX told me this morning the last time you requested information was XX/XX/XXXX. So here we are and no one not XXXX XXXX nor XXXX what to take responsibility to passing the hot XXXX and destroying my credit and my life. This has me very very stressed cause now i received a report last week dated XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX and no they have XXXX of the same accounts reporting on my credit file and neither XXXX federal can explain nor XXXX explain and no one want to fix my problem. So what is a person to do but file a complaint and have XXXX federal stop sending multiply reports to XXXX or have XXXX do what they so please to do without any authority from XXXX XXXX, some one has to be held accountable but it is not me. Its not fair and its not legal on what XXXX XXXX and XXXX are doing to my life and nerves and the level of stress is amazing.

Consumer Complaint: It has come to my attention that I have been making payments in error pursuant to 12 CFR 1026.13. Since the inception of the account which is defined under 12 CFR 1002.2 defined as extension of credit and the word account refers only to open-end credit. Open-end credit is defined via Truth in Lending ( 12 CFR 1026.2. You have been requiring Federal Reserve notes as payment, when in fact the application with financial information ( social security number ) attached served as an asset, which satisfied the monthly obligation pursuant to 12 CFR 360.6 ( 2 ) as well as self-liquidating paper pursuant to 17 CFR 260.11b-6. This is considered an unauthorized use since I have received NO BENEFIT. This will also serve as Notice of breach of fiduciary duty ( U.C.C. 3-307 ). Furthermore I have noticed that you have been redeeming the remittance coupons/ instrument as a non-cash item ( 12 CFR 210.2 ( k ) / ( 12 CFR 229.2 ( u ) ( 4 ). Pursuant to 15 U.S Code 1691 ( C ) and you assume civil liability pursuant to 15 U.S Code 1691 ( K ). Navy Federal Credit Union has violated my federally protected consumer rights.

Consumer Complaint: My husband and I were thr victims of a fraud scam. He received a phone call on or around XX/XX/XXXX from someone identifying themselves as a member of Navy Federal fraud department stating they found some suspicious activity on our account. They were able to add themselves as a linked member to our checking and gain access to our checking and savings account. They transferred {$10000.00} to our checking and did a withdrawal of {$3500.00}. We immediately called navy federal back directly who informed us that this was a scam. We went I to navy federal and opened a new checking account and transferred all remaining funds to a new account. Navy federal stated they would do a fraud investigation but to date, we still have not been contacted and our compromised checking account is still sitting at a negative balance of over {$1500.00}. Navy federal did not reach out to us at any time to verify that we linked someone to our account and the transfer of funds was not made by us. How can someone else transfer funds out from a different location in such a large amount without getting a legitimate fraud alert to approve the transaction first. Navy fed also held a direct deposit that came from my husband 's place of employment because it happened the following day after the report of fraud was made.
