Consumer Complaint: PLEASE REFER TO ORIGINAL CLAIM # XXXX : Update to the original claim. I spoke with a fraud representative in the month of XX/XX/XXXX who connected with both her immediate supervisor and the security department to attempt to resolve the issue of reactivating my card for use and having the fraud claim reevaluated. When the rep spoke with the various department supervisors she advised that security has informed her that the claim could not be approved because the charges made was beyond the 60 days XXXX would accept to fraudulent claims. In the same conversation, she did also mention that both her supervisor and security department agreed to have my credit card reactivated for use and I could pay down the balance. I agreed to this term. She then stated that she would make very detailed notes on my account and all I needed to do was speak with XXXX XXXX to have a new card opened. The fraud department issued a credit of $ XXXX for the fraudulent charges they could process. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to a representative in card services who then advised that it was nothing that her department could do after the card had been closed. She shared to not reapply for another card but have the credit committee evaluate the entire situation and get the card reopened. I have made numerous of attempts to get this matter resolved. This situation and fraudulent activities has destroyed my credit and relationship with Navy FCU. I have provided Navy FCU with all the evidence to show merit that it was impossible for me to use my credit card while I was XXXX Where we stand now is Navy Federal Credit Union ( to my belief ) is racially profiling me and my situation. All other loans with this creditor I have paid on time with no issues. I was told a new card would be mailed, my account would be reactivated and in use. But as of today, I have not received a new card, the $ XXXX credit that was given has been reversed and every time I ask to speak with someone in leadership ( executive team ) I am either ignored or advised " someone will call me back ''. It is very disappointing to know that my banking relationship with NFCU is being tarnished because I am a minority. I am disappointed!

I reached out to support and the told me my debit is suspended for the next two years - I received absolutely no prior warning, email, or letter that this was going to happened. I have funds in my account that I can not even use or transfer. This happening without any notice has caused me extreme stress as I can not even pay my bills or access my funds.

Issue: Getting a credit card
Subissue: Application denied
Consumer Complaint: I was denied credit by Navy FCU on XXXX XXXX when I applied for the Cash Rewards card. Adverse action against a consumer is AGAINST THE LAW according to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. When I signed that application for their services I then become an investor into their company where they then securitized and traded my credit application as an asset backed security on the secondary market. I received no benefit and that is Securities Fraud and it goes against the regulations of the SEC as well as the FDIC and OCC.

This person overdrawn my account twice one for XXXX and one for XXXX they credited the XXXX but not the XXXX which then made the credit unavailable to me. Still fighting to get my XXXX $ back. When i went through the whole process needed to get my money back. There investigator needs to really take unauthorized charges into serious consideration as this happens to many people and its not okay.

Issue: Applying for a mortgage or refinancing an existing mortgage

Consumer Complaint: I am a real estate agent in XXXX XXXX, AL. Within the past month, I have been informed by my prospective buyer clients that Navy Federal Credit Union ( mortgage division ) provides borrowers with favorable mortgage terms based on using specific real estate brokers in the transaction. Unfortunately I am not in a position to disclose my client details but I am sending this in hopes that the matter could be looked into and that there is nothing illegal or inappropriate with these borrower incentives. I have been told by XXXX unrelated buyers that the mortgage company is paying funds toward buyer closing cost if the buyer/borrower uses one of their preferred realtors. Thank you for considering this notice and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
