Consumer Complaint: I have attempted on numerous occasions to dispute the false negative 60 day late payment on my credit report from Navient. Only to be told it was accurate when it couldn't possibly be. The months before and after the month started to be 60 days late are both on time. Aside from that, I never have had to make a payment and was in school. I have mo idea what happened to cause this. I believe that they misallocated payments or messed up with a deferment/forbearance somewhere and they refuse to take responsibility. And fix it. Please help. My credit is suffering from this. Also the loan on there is from XX/XX/2005 and has been transferred twice now, I would like it taken off completely.

Consumer Complaint: When I originally signed up for school I was confused in the fact I was getting a grant, paying the school, and signing for a government loan. It was all a very confusing situation where we were constantly interrupted and very unorganized. I was under the assumption I was getting a grant and would pay the school monthly while attending. I was a single mom works now 2 jobs while doing the classes online. This was very exciting to me that I would be able to go to school and earn a degree and start a new career. I worked hard for 2 years finishing assignments staying on the Dean 's list. I could not wait to get my degree and finally start my career in XXXX XXXX and XXXX. I made sure I never missed a monthly payment to the school so there would be no delays of graduating. I was told that upon graduation they would help with job placement. After walking across the stage all of those promises where gone. I was told there were no jobs available where I lived. I would call the school and leave messages and get no response. Then the reality of I had student loans. Now I have a worthless degree and drowning in student loans. I graduated almost 10 years ago and have not even come close to the income promised. I found out after graduating that I didn't even need a degree in XXXX XXXX. I was able to get a XXXX job and took courses and have been working in a physicians office as a XXXX XXXX. I have asked Navient year after year if I can get the loans consolidated so I can make reasonable monthly payments instead of multiple payments at prices I couldn't even imagine paying with my current income. Navient has told me year after year that it would be best if I just did forbearance and deferments. Not fully knowing what those are they set me up for those. In the meantime the interest keeps going up and up. Making it even more impossible to ever imagine paying them off. The college 's and student loan officers should not be allowed to mislead students. When we are signing up we are so excited with our dreams of a better future and your throwing so much information at them and easily confusing them. It's not right and should be against the law. I'm adding my complaint so hopefully it will help stop them from doing this in the future.

Consumer Complaint: On numerous occasions I have had to resubmit financial documents to Naviant in order to have my student loans rehabilitated. I gather all of the need documents such as daycare receipts, bills such as mortgage, utilities and car payments. Each respond that we have received back regarding the submitted documents range from sorry but this form was not included or sorry we need you to resubmit all your documents. This has been on going for a year now. I call naviant today XX/XX/XXXX to discuss making a payment to my account which is supposed to be around {$270.00} a month. The customer service representative tells me that Im supposed to make a monthly payment of {$1300.00}. I told her about the rehabilitation payment of {$270.00} a month and asked her where she got that larger number from. She hangs up on me. I call back to Navient and no answer.

Consumer Complaint: Today I contact Navient as a result of learning a company that was managing my loans ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) was suspended and under a lawsuit submitted by the FTC. When contacting them today and within the last few months, I informed that I did on any call to Navient the XXXX was managing my loans. Each representative stated, we aren't affiliated with that company and it was not until today that I was given a telephone number to file a complaint about paying this company to manage my loans. After attempting to submit an IDR application and learning that my payments would be $ XXXX+/months, I logged in to my account and notice my loans had increased by {$20000.00} since 2015. Outrageous! The representative told me the only option I had was to go into forbearance plan where she then mumbled off a disclaimer about paying interest but never mentioned my interest rate would increase. I am single and pay a mortgage and car note and other necessary bills alone and I don't even have credit cards as I manage my debt responsibly. I filed a complaint with the FTC about the XXXX in which I have paid over {$2500.00} to since XX/XX/2015 in which I was told my debt would be reduced from {$62000.00} to {$40000.00}. I was sent a contract that showed my payment to XXXX would be {$100.00} per month will I paid about {$75.00} to Navient. I was told the {$40000.00} would not reflect until the end of the XXXX year contract. I am learning that none of the money I paid to XXXX went towards my loan and only today did Navient mention I had been in forbearance for XXXX out of XXXX allowed months. I have been left no option but to go back into forbearance since I could not pay {$500.00} payments due to my loans having increased from {$62000.00} in 2015 to now {$80000.00}. I have never been late on any payments to either Navient or XXXX. I do not understand how the XXXX was allowed to scam students for this long. Navient also took advantage of the situation and accepted all documents from XXXX and increased the interest rate without my knowledge especially since I did not submit the documents directly to them. I am requesting that I be refunded my money not only from the XXXX but Navient completely forgive my student loans! A formal lawsuit should be filed against Navient as I have been an honest paying citizen who was taken advantage and now being asked to pay {$80000.00} in student loans and now only being given a reasonable payment of a car note with no other options but forebearance. I have all the documents that show the contract that was presented and the interest rate increases of Navient ; however, I am unable to attach them to this complaint since they all include my SSN, account numbers and/or address. I would like for some assistance with the balance of my loans. Help please.

Consumer Complaint: I told Navient I could only pay {$50.00}. I am in school and to defer and they said I had to pay and they would not take the {$50.00}. They refused it every time. I just had a XXXX and they keep calling and the are calling and being rude and childish and playing on my phone and running up my XXXX XXXX. Consumer Complaint: My private loans started with Sallie Mae and are now managed through Navient. At this present moment I am {$63000.00} in private student loan debt and my monthly payments are roughly {$480.00} per month. Ive spoke with several representatives whove misinformed me about co-signer release information. On XX/XX/2018 I spoke with XXXX, reference XXXX she informed me that after 12 on time monthly payments I would be eligible for the co-signer release program. This information was false, I spoke with representative XXXX, reference XXXX who informed me that borrowers who only pay interest on their private loans are not eligible for the co-signer release program. I have difficulty repaying my private loans due to issues with lowering my monthly payment. I am a single mother of XXXX children- the cost of living which includes rent, car note, daycare, not to mention groceries and clothing for my children make it very difficult and at times impossible to make on time payments of {$480.00} per month. It is unfair that Navient/Sallie Mae fail to educate college loan officers to counsel students appropriately when making the best financial decisions to pay for school, such proper counseling will also assist with lowering the students position of being in financial debt post graduation. I am constantly misinformed by Navient representatives. I am in dire need of assistance to lower my monthly private student loan payment so I can afford to care for my children.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX//2019 - I sent a letter to the Dept of Ed/Navient requesting the original instrument of indebtedness in its entirety to validate the debt obligations that are reporting 8 times on my credit. 4 accounts show current and 4 show closed. I received back the first page of a master promissory note. The other 7 pages are missing. There are no account numbers to verify the account numbers reporting on my credit. The single page master promissory note does not show the amount of the debt requested. I also received a computer printed balance statement of account.
