Consumer Complaint: This Account was opened on XX/XX/XXXX - credit report shows XX/XX/XXXX. This account was closed on XX/XX/XXXX by Dept Of Education ... because these loans are from XXXX XXXX. Which was sued by the Dept of Ed. Also I selected the XXXX campus because the XXXX, pa location that I attended at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, PA. XXXX is not listedon the drop down list. Navient is in violation for continually to report a closed account. Maybe they were not informed by the Dept Of education. Credit Reporting Agencies are in violation for reporting a closed account as open.

Consumer Complaint: I would like to Lodge a formal complaint against XXXX, as I had a Sale Mae/Navient loan. I had called several times to ensure I was eligible for loan forgiveness, as I was a teacher. I was told I was on track, but every person I talked to told me something different. In the end, it turns out that because I paid more than a minimum monthly payment, I was not eligible for loan forgiveness and none of the payments I had made would qualify for credit towards forgiveness. We ended up paying the balance off ASAP to be done with the mess, as I was given faulty information on multiple occasions.

Consumer Complaint: I have several late payments from Navient on my credit report and I do not know why. I was in school from fall XXXX to spring XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX my XXXX passed away, and because he was a cosigner I was told the student loans would be forgiven. Years and years passed and I never heard from them again. Not a phone call, not a letter in the mail, literally nothing. Then one day I looked at my credit file and I had several late payments from them. This was in XXXX, years and years after attending school. Any attempts to follow up with the company and get it fixed have not worked. When I call they say someone from the company must have given me wrong information and they couldn't help. I disputed the payments with the credit bureaus, and nothing. I am now paying my student loan payments monthly and have never been late, I don't mind paying. But the late payments on my credit file is ruining my credit and I need it removed.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX and Navient have file negative history on my credit reports with all three bureaus. During the time my student loan debt was reported the companies were sending paperwork and contacting my father ( same first and last name ) that I was not associated with at the time. I had not spoke to my father for several years and was not getting the notifications of who owned my student loan debts. I have now consolidated all of my student loans and not missed a payment for almost two years. My credit score is solid, but these negative marks are holding me back. I am asking for the items to be deleted from my all three bureaus because there is a XXXX balance with the two companies. At this time I am up to dates on everything and would like things to be corrected because I did not know of defaulting.

Consumer Complaint: For the past 3 years I have been under an Income Sensitive Repayment plan, which must be renewed each year with an application and letter verifying employment ( VOE ). Every year it is the same. Navient misreads my VOE and falsely inflates my income. I am a XXXX and am paid on a 10-month salary. Navient does not understand what 10-month salary means. So it gets explained over and over each year, it takes about 5 phone calls, and then by the time they " figure out '' it is the same as the previous years, my term has ended and they say they " must cancel '' my reduced payment plan. This means it takes a month or two at a much higher payment rate to be resolved, right at the time ( summer months ) that as a XXXX I am not being paid. Navient knows this and does the same thing each year. This is a way to gouge a little more cash from their helpless customers. Each time I keep a paper trail. Their customer service people openly lie and say " oh it is fixed, we promise '' but then it does not get fixed. This year again I have the paper trail to prove the following : This year I have the online chat record to prove that back in XXXX Navient approved my application, accepted the VOE, and agreed to the usual reduced payment plan. But once again they cancelled my plan, and claim to have " lost '' my forms. This happens every year! Like the last few years, they also always refuse to send the final confirmation until the end of the previous cycle. That makes it impossible to fix any problems because it is too late. This year it happened again and they are refusing to correct their error ... asking me to go into forbearance ( which just makes them more money ). This is unethical business and they have me in a bind, threatening to ruin my credit. Please help! If you read the attached copies of my correspondence with Navient, they said back in XXXX that all was A O.K. and I need do nothing else. But this week they posted a note to me saying my repayment plan was cancelled, they did not get any forms ( a lie ), and the my payment will now be doubled as of immediately. They pull this stunt every year!

Consumer Complaint: Student loan is my son 's responsibility. His late payments have affected my credit score. Navient continues to harass me. They ask personal questions ( they do not have the right to know certain information ). I have given them my son 's contact information. I do not want them calling me at all times of the day. Navient has had access to my credit scores and have lowered my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: This is a student loan that my wife took from NAVIENT while attending college in XXXX. When we got divorced in XXXX of XXXX the divorce decree states that she is solely responsible for any and all student line debt. She has since filed bankruptcy and NAVIENT tells me, when I call them, that she included this loan in her bankruptcy. It shows as a charge off on my credit report so it needs to be removed.

Consumer Complaint: I gained XXXX XXXX employment in XX/XX/XXXX. At that time my student loans were with Sallie Mae which eventually became Navient, the student loan service provider for both my government and private student loans. From XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX the foreign customer service representatives ( Navient Customer Service Reps ) gave the impression that I did not have to change anything and that my student loan will be forgiven in XX/XX/XXXX ( i began paying it back in XX/XX/XXXX ). XX/XX/XXXX was the year that I called the foreign customer service line and, again, i was led to believe and told not to worry that my student loan will be forgiven in XX/XX/XXXX. The Navient customer service rep. on the phone led me to believe me and my student loan qualified for forgiveness in XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX arrived and I found out I qualified for forgiveness, but my student loan did not. It made me contemplate XXXX. It was devastating. When I discovered that I qualified but my loans did not, I then began requesting to speak to US representatives. From XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to get my student loans to qualify and still do not know the outcome. Basically, I had to start over from XX/XX/XXXX,XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX through who knows how long. Today, in XX/XX/XXXX, I requested all call transcripts to Navient Customer Service via their website. My loans are finally coded to qualify or, so I think as direct loans but still unclear if the past 10 yrs. of public service will count toward my loan forgiveness. Thus far, those years don't seem to count toward public student loan forgiveness.
