Consumer Complaint: I have been getting many calls and emails on a daily bases. I am getting harassed by this company who says that they are private when I never sign with a private company. The President says student loans are defer until the XXXX. When I told them about this they claim that it do not apply to private student loans. They also claim that they have their own deferment due to the pandemic, but they are still adding interest to my account. They also claim that I can call every month until XXXX. I believe this is some kind of scam, or is not legal during the pandemic.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, I hope all is well. I have one account with Navient that has reported my account as " current '' one month, then on month later, reports as " 90 days late '', before reporting as current again to all three major credit bureaus.This has happend on two separate occasions : - XXXX of XXXX - XXXX of XXXX When I log into my account, there are no links or data to shows me every being late. It is also hard for me to believe that I can be considered " Current '' on month, then 90 days late the next. Multiple letter requesting this information has been sent to Navient with no reply or update to my profile. When I call to get information about those specific months, I am told that it is not available, which makes it impossible for THEM to furnish this information to others. I have asked for a correction with through mail, email, calls to representatives who can not make changes even at the supervisory level which is the highest level you can get to in a call. Consumer Complaint: Navient has the worst customer service, and I dont say that lightly. For three months I have had the run around with them calling or sending an email to say my payment is late, when I have been told that my account is in auto pay. I have removed the account, re-enrolled, and been assured by my bank that everything is correct. I received confirmation emails that my application went through for automatic payments, and then the same cycle happens again. The last time I called customer service about this and expressed my frustration, the customer service representative belittled me and started talking to me like I was a child. When I asked for her to transfer me to someone competent, she yelled at me. Never in my life have I had to deal with such downright disrespect from people because I dont have the rights to transfer my service to another company without losing the benefits of my repayment history. Its downright abusive. I get anxiety now when I have to call them, knowing that I will be met with contempt on the other end of the line. I followed their so called self help section to rectify the issue to not have to deal with them, and it still hasnt worked. I would prefer to have someone listening on the line when I make a call to make sure they will treat me professionally and fix the issue once and for all so I never have to speak with them again.

Consumer Complaint: This is the second complaint of this kind. Navient reaches out to random associates of mine some of which I haven't spoken to in decades. These individuals are not listed as references and I have zero idea on how they obtained their information. One went as far as to share this message on social media account. They have shared information about my account with these individuals. I requested via email on XX/XX/2021 which was confirmed received that they have been harassing individuals on my social media that are in no way on any of my applications requesting it to stop and I still receive messages that it is continuing as of today XX/XX/2021. I also explained I work at a XXXX explaining why it would be difficult to reach me by phone and it still continues.

Consumer Complaint: Company of complaint : Navient Date of complaint : XX/XX/XXXX I am 1 day past my grace period for my due date on my private student loan and Navient has called every single hour on the hour. They have already spoken to the co-borrower of this loan and they were very rude in the manner of how they spoke to him. He let them know I was the one who took care of this account and they told him he is responsible for this account and its extremely past due. Which it is NOT. they continued to call every single hour on the hour after speaking with him - I answered the and they hung up the call at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and called the co- borrower again. This is harassment. This is not the first time this has happened when my loan was first transferred from Sallie Mae to Navient I asked they do not contact the Co- Borrower and they refused my request. The Co- Borrower has also requested they do NOT contact them and they do not respect that. According to the FDCPA they can not do that.
