Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: When trying to get approved for a loan to buy a house my credit was checked and I was denied based on several delinquent accounts that are my student loans. The report said my accounts were currently in delinquency when they are not. My government loans have been put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic and I have actually continued to make payments on them. I have no credit cards that have any money on them due to them being paid off. Student loans are my only debt I pay on and they are not delinquent. I was made aware of an issue that many are having with their credit taking a hit due to student loans being hit with delinquency due to the government hold on them. This " delinquency '' effected my ability to get approved and is frustrating when it was inaccurately reported. So I'm just looking into the issue.

Consumer Complaint: There is no way that these companies investigated this student loan. The same information continues to report on my credit. I honestly don't believe I was late and I don't agree with the total balance that they are reporting on my credit. It continues to report several inaccuracies among the 3 credit reporting agencies from the last student loan company. How is that possible? For example, Each bureau reports that I was late on a different date Also, Hows it possible that youve reported me 90 days late with no late payments prior to that? Wasn't Navient sued by Cfpb before for not applying payments to consumers accounts correctly?

Consumer Complaint: I called Navient on XX/XX/2021 to ask if I qualified for a deferment or a forbearance on my loans. I had damaged done to my home because of the winter storm that hit my state. The agent asked for my zip code to verify the area I lived in. She then said that because of the area I was in, my loans and other Individuals who also lived in my state would automatically have their loans go into deferment. I asked how long was the deferment? She replied with just call back when you are ready to begin giving payments. I also asked if she could cancel the autopay which she agreed to do. I was confident in trusting this agent. On XX/XX/2021, I received an email saying that I had defaulted on my loan. I promptly called Navient and was transferred to a male agent. He read off a script and then said how would you like to pay for your defaulted loan? I responded by explaining the situation and he raised his voice saying you owe two payments one for XXXX and one for XXXX. I responded with, you are incorrect because I have had my loans current because of automated payments until this month. It wasnt until he let me explain the situation that he listened. I asked why was I given wrong information from the previous loan agent? I trusted in Navient and they let me down. I hope that this error on their part doesnt show up on my credit report. This agent then put my loans in deferment until XXXX. I then asked if I will receive written notification of the deferment. He replied with yes through email. My intention for this complaint is for Navient to provide more customer service and support training for their agents.

Consumer Complaint: Navient is reporting inaccurate information, they have reported to the credit bureaus that I was late in XXXX and XX/XX/2018. I wasn't late and it also states I was 90 days late, I had brought this up to them and they changed my credit reports to different 90 day payment late times to XXXX XXXX XXXX, they are falsifying information as they reported I'm late when I was never late, they are continuing to show that I'm late 90 days when I had on time payments in the previous months. I am requesting that these payments are showed as paid on time and never late, I've sent a letter to the CEO and they are just giving me the run around. it clearly is reporting in accurate information on being late in XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018, then they moved the late reporting and changed it after I had did my last dispute so the credit bureau or navient is moving around the late payment dates with the bureaus and no one is wanting to help me resolve this I am asking for a full proof of what the in accurate reporting to the credit bureaus and also why on the credit pulls I've done they are changing the late times. please look at the credit reports that I've enclosed. its the job Navient to report the accurate info to the bureaus and they are not and then change the info and please look at the proof in the attachments. please look at the enclosed attachments and you can see they changed the information to the credit bureaus on the times I was late after I did my dispute on this in accuracy. the reports I have saved for XXXX and XXXX show the XXXX and XX/XX/2018 I was 90 days late and after I had done several disputes for the inaccurate info Navient then change the 90 day late payments to XXXX and XX/XX/2018 so this is falsifying or minupalting or certainly reporting inaccurate information please look at this and help me delete this account for reporting inaccurate information on my credit bureau reports. after I did my disputes they went and changed the information reporting to now a different time to the previous month so this shows they aren't telling the truth regardless.

Consumer Complaint: I XXXX XXXX have notified " Navient XXXX '' of it's potential fraud, inaccurate, and invalid information being reported from their company against me. Once I contacted Navient XXXX with this discovery Navient XXXX retaliated against me and reported 60 days late on my bureau. I have disputed " Navient XXXX '' and these feloniously debts in the past. By law all of these accounts should not be reporting in my credit profile. When I noticed this information I investigated and disputed many accounts that were invalid, inaccurate, and flat-out not my accounts, to my understanding these three accounts were included. None the less, they still remain on my credit file. I contact Navient Financial XX/XX/XXXX regrading these 3 accounts. I was more than certain I did not, and DO NOT owe, ( yet currently being reported on 3 major reporting Buraus ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) as my debt with a 60 day late XX/XX/XXXX ). I contacted Navient, the rep was very argumentative and was almost sure there wasn't any harm done against me by this servicer " Navient XXXX. I disagree with all debts, credit reporting information from Navient XXXX in regards to student loans, specially XXXX # XXXX : XXXX {$2600.00} XXXX {$2600.00} XXXX {$2600.00} XXXX {$4600.00} XXXX {$4600.00} XXXX {$4600.00} XXXX {$21000.00} XXXX {$21000.00} XXXX {$21000.00} As to date the entire world is battling to survive financially and " Navient XXXX '' reported 60 day late XX/XX/XXXX on my credit files. This was clearly retaliation from the phone call I, XXXX XXXX placed to " Navient XXXX '' on XX/XX/XXXX to inform them of the inaccurate & invalid information the company was reporting against my credit. Less then 72 hours my credit rating went from a rating of Good to Poor due to " Navient XXXX '' reporting the above debts as 60 day late for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. Due to this retaliation from " Navient Financial '' I have experience financial and personal hardship, I am unable to qualify for any SBA Business Covid Relief or FEMA Winter Storm Loan assistance. I state again, do not think I own these debts. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Navient has never communicated effectively about the repayment options and what it meant to hold a private federal student loan ( FFELP ) versus a direct federal student loan. They never reached out to discuss reconsolidation for a second time to take advantage of the federal government 's payment pause and they are purposefully dragging their feet on my reconsolidation now. I am trying to take advantage of the federal interest rate pause and they are slow walking my application. Not only that, but they have never communicated with me ( & others in a similar situation ) regarding this being an option and how to process the re-consolidation of the consolidation - I had to find out the information on my own and directly ask to receive the answers that this was possible. Navient deliberately withheld this information from me ( and others in a similar situation ), in my opinion. Had I been informed years ago, my student loans would have been on a payment pause or interest rate pause and I would have owed about XXXX dollars less than I owe now. My current balance is $ XXXX for my student loans. This is indentured servitude and unfair that because I took my loans out in the XXXX they don't qualify for the payment pause. This on-top of Navient not communicating about income based repayment and throwing my into forbearance instead during a 3 year period ( XXXX ) when I was struggling financially is predatory lending, plain and simple. HELP!

Consumer Complaint: I notify XXXX about the account they have on my credit report because they have duplicates on my report. They told me that it will be taken months ago, yet when I called 2 days ago they told me it won't come off. That it will have to stay on when it's a duplicate account that makes my credit report looks like I owe more than I do! This student loan is not even supposed to be on my account due to school closures! I submitted everything as did the school, and even one loan that's been on there for over 7 years! Per the law past 10 years, it's supposed to drop off your credit report by the FCRA law and it's still on my credit report. I also got a letter saying they would do it and it never happened!

Consumer Complaint: Back in XXXX - XXXX I attended XXXX XXXX, got XXXX n never went back. Sallie Mae begin calling n mailing payment letters, ( filing a complaint due to the fact my information was forwarded to Navient without my consent or a signed " HIPPA '' ink document. it was address that I have became " XXXX '' in XXXX of XXXX. I was mailed out documents for my doctor to fill out regarding my medical conditions & to get approved for " THE STUDENT FORGIVENESS PROGRAM '' so the student loans would be taken off my credit report with XXXX XXXX XXXX immediately. The documents were faxed and mailed back three times, I was denied. Started receiving threatening phone calls from SALLIE MAE. Then, I tried to consolidate by paying low monthly payments n was " LIED '' to and denied again. The agree was based on my monthly income " XXXX '' that I pay {$65.00} a month, the bill statement would read and I quote : Pass Due amount is {$460.00}. XXXX, + {$380.00} + {$340.00}, on my credit report right now there four different payment amounts they supposely were expecting me to pay. When I addressed in the very beginning and I " QUOTE '' I no longer work, I am now on " XXXX '' and still is to this month/date/year. At one point SallieMae n Navient were taken off my credit report for two months, the following month it was back again. When I know that after 180 days my school debt was already paid and bought by an outsider insurance ; but I am still suppose to pay them approximately close to {$30000.00} in full to them ( SALLIEMAE/NAVIENT. ) I tried to solidate with both and was ignored, direspected, wasn't given proper advice, no good communication, was mislead plus all thee above. Now at this very moment, now I am getting text messafes, harassing phone calls and e-mails coming from Navien. I even tried to dipute both Sallie Mae and Navient with the Credit Bureau and no good news period. All of this is a violation under the " HIPPA ACT '' under the CFPR Act and the CONSTIRUTIONAL LAWS. I am very frustrated right about now. Nobody wants to send me proof of any signed documents with my ink signature on anything I've requested of them or from them. Thank you
