Consumer Complaint: I tried to get student loan forgiveness about two years ago and I was told I could not get my loans forgiven and they could not be included in my bankruptcy dated XX/XX/2012. I made the income contingency provided for my income but it was a struggle. Navient student loan services said there was nothing else they could do for me. I have been through financial issues and now these pandemic years have brought to my knees. I owe approximately {$80000.00} and I have been out of college for over 27 years. I barely make {$40000.00} and hourly wages are not even {$18.00} PER HOUR. I have many health issues and two jobs would be risking my health. My monthly house and car payment are {$1000.00}, utilites insurances, next meds and I can not pay all the medical bills. What little XXXX I have, federal and state have depleted my funds, so I would not lose my home. I am literally begging for help. I have all documentation you may need to substantiate my claims.

Consumer Complaint: I have attempted to repay my student loans in full. Besides my regular payments I have attempted to make principle payments allocated to an account to pay off that loan early. They have repeated taken that I given them and applied it to another account though in a way I did not instruct in order to keep both accounts open and charge more interest. This also discourages people from trying to pay down one part or the higher interest loans early. I have spoken with the company but they are unwilling to help resolve this issue.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I was diagnosed with a total and XXXX XXXX. In XXXX I finally began receiving social security benefits for my XXXX. In XXXX I then started the process of filing for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX through Navient the services of my loans. At first I was denied even access to the outsourced XXXX service providers information XXXX after finally receiving XXXX information I was advised of the incorrect instructions on how to file when my review date was scheduled for 5 years. Then I was denied the mailed copy of the XXXX report and appropriate help in filing out the report. Finally in XX/XX/XXXX my total and permanent XXXX was approved through XXXX. At which time I was advised that it would take 30 days for them to discharge my student loans and if it were to take longer I would receive in a writing a written notice from XXXX 30 days came and went after calling in 60 days to see what the hold up was I still was advised I just needed to wait longer. Its been 180 days now. In XXXX I was the victim of identity theft. This has been going on for many years as many companies including XXXX has allowed my personal private information to be accessed by online hackers I began examining my credit report. I have disputed the fraudulent activities of Navient increasing my loan amounts and fraudulently claiming that my loans were in default. On XX/XX/XXXX I called in to Navient and XXXX to see what I needed to do. After hours of phone calls with Navient were the operators intermittently hung up on me, made fun of me lied to me, and generally harassing me purposely trying to trigger my XXXX I was told I would need to contact the guarantor of my loan myself before they would allow my two loans the claimed are in default over to XXXX for discharge. I have disputed the accounts with the three credit bureaus both XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XX/XX/XXXXprompt and decisive action on the account not completely discharging them but not allowing these fraudulent purposeful errors to impact my credit anymore however XXXX has refused. I spoke an agent at XXXX and was told I could not submit more documentation to prove my case I was told I could not pull another credit report due to there being an open dispute and I would see the notes on the dispute and I was told by XXXX they would not remove any of the student loan accounts holding, they are reporting four of my discharged student loans as being active and in default with serious delinquencies, they advised they would not take action on the misreported accounts even if I provide documentation until Navient sends over confirmation the loans have been discharged. I need help. I am searching for attorneys at this moment. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: I have XXXX federal loans with Navient. I was under the impression that my student loans were in forbearance, however my repayment status changed without my knowing and they reported 90 days late to the credit bureaus. I called immediately and had them placed in forbearance but they would not remove the lateness from my account. It dropped my credit scores significantly and I have worked extremely hard to establish good credit.

Consumer Complaint: I have two student loans that were transferred to Navient from Sallie Mae. My payments were being misapplied from XXXX through XXXX on both loans. One of my loans had a disbursement amount of {$10000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, I was immediately billed for a principle amount of {$23000.00} on the same date. My second loan disbursement was for {$7900.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, I was immediately billed for a principle amount of {$16000.00}. All of my payments were going to interest based upon the outstanding balances. In addition, the capitalized interest on the loan and late payments are not accurate, also I am not clear what happened when the loans were sold on XX/XX/XXXX. Navient didn't inform me that my loans were going into repayment ; as a result I have incurred a 30-day and 60-day derogatory remark on my credit reports. When I reached out to Navient after pulling my credit report, I was advised my account had a cease and desist in place. I advised Navient that I never requested a cease and desist for these two loans. I called Navient on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with a supervisor regarding my payment history as reported on their website. I was advised Navient has two sets of records for my account, and the correct records are not what is shown on their website. I was advised I would be receiving the correct records in the mail within 4 weeks, I called back after 3 weeks to see if the records were sent and was told to wait. As of today, I still don't have those records or any clue about the accuracy of what's reported on the website. The website doesn't show figures for years XXXX, XXXX, and most of XXXX is missing as well, on both loans.

Consumer Complaint: Navient keeps providing and then verifying incorrect information to credit bureaus, ruining my credit rating unfairly. Navient is reporting different information to all bureaus, they are reporting a charge off or a late mark every single month on accounts that have been closed for almost 7 years. I sent a debt validation letter to the Bureaus on XX/XX/20. Navient verified all of the information which is different for each bureau on the same account. How is this validated if all the information is different? I sent a factual dispute to the bureaus, they spoke to Navient and even though there is proof in the letters and a detailed breakdown of what information is wrong, they still validated the incorrect information. Since you are purposely providing incorrect information about these six charge off accounts to the bureaus in an attempt to ruin my credit, I want them all removed from all of the credit bureaus immediately or I will seek legal action.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX, my FFEL student loan for the amount of {$55000.00} was marked as forgiven by XXXX and the US Department of Education due to the fact I am a 100 % XXXX veteran. Navient the loan holder was contacted about this and in XX/XX/XXXX the loan was no longer on my credit and my account was shown as closed. In XXXX of XXXX I noticed I had a delinquent student loan for the amount of {$24000.00} showing on my credit report. When I contacted Navient they told me that my loan that was forgiven was a consolidated loan with my Ex-wife of 11 years, so the {$24000.00} had to be paid by me since she was not paying. I received no information on this until it was delinquent and negatively affecting my credit. My credit score dropped from XXXX to XXXX because of this action. I paid all fees to bring the loan current and I have been paying this loan since then. In XXXX of XXXX I noticed on my credit report that Navient was now reporting the {$24000.00} student loan of my wife 's and they had added back the original student loan, but increased the amount to {$66000.00}, which is an increase of {$10000.00}. So now showing on my credit report is a loan for {$66000.00} and a loan for {$24000.00}. I would like to be clear on this math, my original student loan amount that was forgiven was {$55000.00}, now my student loan debt showing on my credit report is {$90000.00}!!!! How can this be??? I have contacted all credit bureaus and disputed this reporting, all say the reporting is correct. I have contacted Navient by telephone and their dispute process. They will remove the error on one reporting cycle, then in a couple of weeks I receive a letter saying the reporting can't be changed and the next credit cycle it is back on my credit and my score drops drastically. I have called every person at Navient that will talk to me but no one will fix this continuing error. I am a XXXX veteran on a fixed income, needless to say this is very negatively affecting my quality of life and living situation. I have called and sent letters to every resource I can and I can't get any help on this issue.
