Consumer Complaint: In XXXX all my loans were current as of today XX/XX/XXXX I show two of my loans are past due. I received no mail or email or phone correspondent saying that my loans were past due. When I called them today they said they've been having some issues with their system so it may have not updated but they now are wanting double payments. These loans have been in non-payment status because I have been in school so I did not even receive anything in the mail saying that these loans would be due again. I can not afford {$1000.00} in loan payments. The only thing they are willing to offer me is forbearance which really does not help the situation. This issue is in regards to the following loans : XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX from Navient left me a message regarding my private loans. She stated in the message that she had a settlement offer for me, and that I should give her a call back, and that I had these loans for awhile. The phone number that she called from was XXXX. I filed a complaint XX/XX/2021, and asked that Navient no longer contact me via phone, and now they have again. I would like them to not contact me via phone, and I am not sure why they have continue to do so when they stated in their previous correspondence that they would comply with this request.

Consumer Complaint: Navient is the worse company for communication. They sent several emails, to which you can not respond to, stating that they have transferred the account to another company. Then the loan repayments were suspended due to covid. However, all during this time Navient continues to call and harrass myself and family regarding repayment. This needs to stop

Consumer Complaint: Got what I thought was scam calls turned out to be another collection agency on or around the XXXX of XXXX. I called XXXX solutions who had the debt. They claimed they called and left voicemail but when I called XXXX XXXX to check and look at my phone records and voicemail nothing from them. I called back to ask why they didn't send an email notification or letter about the issue. They claim they couldn't reach me via phone from end of XXXX to XXXX. They where rude and unwilling to provide any proof. Not only did there lack of communication cause me financial stress but emotional stress. I suffer from XXXX and the way this company works does not fall under the WA state fair debt collection. They failed to give me proper notifications. Had they sent an email or letter about payment issue as I checked my bank and have no declined transactions from the times they claim. Now a new company that has it wants {$1200.00} down and XXXX a month. My payments to XXXX where {$150.00} as I support my wife and daughter. As you can see now I either have to come up with that or settle for {$26000.00}. Both of which I can not do because of my income. Hopefully I can work something out with this other company. XXXX really did nothing to notify me about any issue with my account and could care less when I was asking questions to clarify what happened on there end. Agian no letter, missed calls or voicemail left on my phone which is the proper way to notify. I have always been willing to work with them until they did this. The person I spoke to from XXXX about this said they have multiple numbers they call from so she couldn't give me a specific number. I have two of probably a dozen numbers they have so it's already hard to contact them with the correct number let alone department. Extremely unprofessional and agressive. I had planned to settle the debt with XXXX solutions at the end of the year but now I'm starting over agian.

Consumer Complaint: I dont know who to get in touch with exactly but here is my question or need for your input. Around the second week of XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX XXXXNavient to find out how much my loan would cost to pay off the entire loan. I was told {$34000.00}. I told XXXX with Navient that it would probably be around the second week of XX/XX/XXXX before they would receive the money. I was transferred to the Department of Education then and spoke to XXXX XXXX. I asked how could I get out of a payment, make a forbearance and she said yes and said the next due date would be XXXX XXXX. I told her the loan would be paid off by then. I received the money I needed to pay off the loan and sent a cashiers check to Navient on XX/XX/XXXX. It was received by them XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Navient saying they got an overpayment and needed direction on how to process it. The date on the letter is XX/XX/XXXX. I called Navient and spoke with a lady named XXXX. She told me that she didnt see where this letter was sent to me and after looking at my file she told me I owed them {$220.00}. I asked how that was since I just payed off my loan and she told me that is what I owe. I asked to speak to her supervisor and after a XXXX minute wait I finally spoke to XXXX. She told me that the reason I owed the {$220.00} was because I had 10 days to pay off the loan when I called and talked to both XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I explained to XXXX that neither lady told me I had 10 days to pay it off. XXXX told me that under the circumstances I still owed that money and it is compounded daily till I pay it off. My question is why do I have to pay Navient the {$220.00} when I was not told I had 10 days to pay it off and had gotten a forbearance?

Consumer Complaint: Re : A Formal Complaint that I am not eligible for a refund or reevaluation of the period that I made payments over the 120 months requirement of my student loan payments while being a federal employee because under the limited PSLF waiver I can not be reimbursed because I have already paid off my loan. Respectfully, This letter serves as my formal complaint with regards to the aforementioned subject matter. This complaint is based on the ground of my ineligibility for a waiver of my student loan for all my amounts paid over 120 months, while I worked as a federal employee. The original balance of my loan when I graduated from XXXX University in XXXX XXXX Missouri in XX/XX/XXXX was {$15000.00}. I began paying my loan promptly on XX/XX/XXXX. At that time, the only federal loan was the Federal Family Education Loan ( FFEL ) and it was promoted to the public as a federal loan. Accordingly, I made 15 consecutive years of on-time payments till the loan was repaid on XX/XX/XXXX. It is worth noting that I have worked for the federal government the entire time from XX/XX/XXXX to the present at the Social Security Administration. In XXXX, the law was passed to have federal student loans forgiven if one worked for the federal government. Accordingly, I filed my paperwork to have my loan forgiven on XX/XX/XXXX. However, my loan was rejected by the Depart of Education on XX/XX/XXXX. They stated that they can not honor Federal Family Education Loans ( FFEL ) and I need to consolidate to a Direct Loan Repayment Plan. The Department of Education also stated that if I consolidated on XX/XX/XXXX, they would not honor the previous 8 years of paying on the loan. Therefore, if I consolidated on XX/XX/XXXX the earliest the loan could be discharged was XX/XX/XXXX. This was not to my advantage because I would clear my paying obligations on XX/XX/XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Navient is attempting to resume payments effective XX/XX/22 despite the government moratorium having been extended to XX/XX/22. I have attempted to get them to explain why or how they or I am exempt from that but they have not ever addressed that question, only telling me the same thing that they are no longer offering relief due to the Covid pandemic. No loan servicer ever offered relief, it was granted by my government and still is until XX/XX/22.

XXXX XXXX did not report the correct information to three others lenders who bought the loan. In for years it has accrued lots of interest.
