Consumer Complaint: My husband and I were wrongfully foreclosed by Nationstar Mortgage XXXX while under the written promise " your house will not be sold '' and the assumption our handful of modification submissions would finally be resolved. Nationstar Mortgage had no intention, ever, or the ability to honor such a request as we found out after a long investigation with the Department of Treasury. We sought the help of CFPB and opened a case XX/XX/XXXX. Nearly XXXX year to date and after a long year of Treasury investigating we are still fighting Nationstar Mortgage. Customer Relations XXXX XXXX XXXX @ Nationstar Mortgage provided a letter to us and CFPB acknowledging " an error occurred in the foreclosure process '' and that " the parties are in active settlement ''. As of XX/XX/XXXX Nationstar Mortgage submitted documents in federal court with this exact statement. " Plaintiffs ' claims are without merit. Nationstar properly complied with all applicable state and federal laws in the servicing of Plaintiffs ' mortgage loans, and Plaintiffs were not damaged in any way by any action or inaction of Nationstar. Accordingly, Plaintiffs ' Complaint is without merit and should be dismissed. '' Our case with Department of Treasury and CFPB was closed due to Nationstar Mortgage in agreement to settle with our family. Just as Nationstar mortgage had no intention to ever follow the non gse guidelines set forth XX/XX/XXXX or any intention to follow through on any modification, they never had any intention to even attempt to settle with our family. It is our families greatest hope that all eyes and ears will be on Nationstar Mortgage always.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX originated XXXX loans for this customer at time of purchase XXXX years ago and is currently servicing only the XXXX mortgage. The XXXX lien with loan number XXXX was sold to XXXX then to Aurora Loan Service which is no longer in business but their loans were transferred to Nation Star. I called Nation Star and they can not locate the loan at all. The customer has never had correspondence with the mortgage company and stated no payments were made on this mortgage. I would like to file a complaint against Nation Star Mortgage on the customer 's behalf and request that they release this XXXX mortgage lien.

Consumer Complaint: Servicing of my mortgage transferred to Nationstar from XXXX as of XXXX 2015. There are two XXXX 2 XXXX detached dwellings on my property. Each carries its own homeowner 's policy and earthquake policies, for a total of four XXXX 4 XXXX policies. For the 22 years I 've lived on this property, the previous servicers have paid all four XXXX 4 XXXX policies. When my servicing was transferred to Nationstar, I checked for the existence of the policies in my escrow account online. The earthquake policies were not present, so I called Nationstar. They told me that since earthquake policies are not mandatory, they do n't have to pay them, so they are refusing to do so because it is not their company " policy. " It is my understanding that a servicer is to honor property tax and insurance policies that are attached to the property. I think it is outrageous that a servicer I did not choose XXXX Nationstar XXXX can refuse to provide this simple service. I further believe that Nationstar is illegally demanding that I continue to pay my earthquake policies while they take 3-4 months to determine what the new escrow payment is. I am being forced to overpay my escrow monthly, giving Nationstar FREE USE of my money. They did not indicate they will pay prevailing interest on these monies they are illegally demanding. **Note on my attachment that Nationstar indicates the date of the letter is XXXX/XXXX/2015, but I did not receive it in the mail until XXXX/XXXX/2015.

' We NEVER came to it. NowChampion wants to foreclose due to me not living in the house. I have been talking to Champion since XX/XX/XXXX to attempt to get this corrected, and everytime I call I get some XXXX new and have to start at square XXXX. Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir, This complaint is against Nationstar Mortgage the servicing dept. I was told by Nationstar that I should participate in their HARP loan program, where my loan originally was a interest only loan that turned into a fully index loan with PITI. The payment through me out of Budget, so Nationstar stated the best option was the HARP Program. Enclosed is the email stating that I was approved, and I would be skipping a payment the date was XXXX/XXXX/15, on the week of my closing I get an email that I 'm was not approved. I thought that something was wrong because the communication checking to see what is going on had stop. I kept going to voice mail for XXXX days. The loan office on this deal plus the processor could not be reach, on XXXX/XXXX/15 I got the enclosed email telling me that I was not approved. I told them since this file is with Nationstar can you take it to the modification dept. personally since you quoted the wrong rate, a teaser, XXXX I told them that I had a problem paying the original loan payment and I reached out for help and they suggested this program. I am now going to be in foreclosure if this problem is not corrected. I need someone from their management to look into this. The loan number is XXXX, borrower is XXXX XXXX. This like a switch and bait after the client does everything in their power to give them what Nationstar ask for. The companies hide behind the automatic systems and voice mail system, it takes a strong consumer to fight through this so that it can be justice.

Consumer Complaint: This is an extension to a former complaint filed a few days ago with NationStar. After XXXX Title Company tried to pay off the lender for my home the lender NationStar rejected the payment saying the payoff amount was short by XXXX but could n't tell us where that amount came from and why. They sent us a new payoff balance which stated that the new payoff amount was not short by XXXX but actually short by XXXX but again could not tell us why or what for. We spoke with XXXX different representatives who all stated that it was an error on their end when giving us the payoff balance but they could n't pin point what the error was from and how they got their numbers. XXXX Title Company decided to pay them the extra XXXX out of their own company funds to be done with the situation. Upon sending NationStar the new payoff balance with the XXXX difference somone mistyped and over payed NationStar by XXXX We contacted NationStar who said that they were unable to return the wired overpayment because their system showed the received the fund through a check not a wire. XXXX with XXXX XXXX gave them wire transfer information proving they were wrong and that the funds were indeed sent via wire. We spoke with a XXXX, XXXX who said that they would send the XXXX back but could n't until AFTER XXXX days due to NationStars policies. She then changed her story stating it could be done after XXXX days. She then again changed her story and said that we could put in a request after 18 days to try to get the funds returned and that it would need to be processed and if approved then we would receive it via check in the mail through XXXX. She said that she could not send the funds to XXXX XXXX that she could only by law send them to me. So now we have to wait XXXX days to received this check once it 's sent here to XXXX to me I have to signet over to XXXX XXXX and overnight it to their offices in XXXX. I 'm extremely irritated that NationStar changed the payoff amount AGAIN and can not tell us why. I 'm extremely irritated that they will not return XXXX Title Company 's money to them. I 'm extremely upset that they changed the payment received in their system in order to prolong the refund process. This company is beyond ridiculous, unprofessional, and fraudulent. Attached you will find the documents showing the payment differences the wire transfer and the over payment to them supporting my claims.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX, I stopped paying my mortgage because I could no longer afford to pay the monthly mortgage payments. I attempted to negotiate the terms of my loan, but the bank refused to lower my monthly payments and the principal balance of the loan. I hired an attorney in which he was not able to lower my monthly payments nor the principle balance with XXXX XXXX. According to Nationstar the current loan servicer, XXXX XXXX did not participate in loan reductions for struggling homeowners and as a result I had to reluctantly agree to a loan modification or risk losing my home to forclosure. I was a victim of a predatory loan when I purchased a was approved for a second mortgage to remodel my home in XX/XX/XXXX which caused me to fall behind on my monthly mortgage payments. The loan was originated by XXXX, sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX and then sold to XXXX XXXX. In addition, the loan was serviced by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and the loan is currently being serviced by Nationstar Loan Servicing. As of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, my principle balance has nearly XXXX from XXXX dollars to XXXX and my monthly mortgage payments have remained relatively the same despite the loan modification. My home is currently valued at approx. XXXX dollars and unfortunately I will be forced to leave my home due to the bank 's refusal to negotiate in good faith. Note ; The copies and documents regarding this matter will be submitted via fax or US mail upon your request.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage company has been insisting that I 've been past due on my mortgage payments since they took my loan over from previous loan holder ( XXXX XXXX ). I have sent them proof of payments XXXX now and they still will not resolve the issue in their system. The problem is a miscommunication between them and the old mortgage company they took the loan from. My credit report is showing 90 days past due within the last 12 months, which is preventing me from refinancing my home ( which is what i 'm currently trying to do ) and also I can not receive my overpaid escrow money from 2014, and also it is loweriing my credit score every month. This is very frustrating and every time I call Nationstar mortgage ( once a week ) i get no help, no update, and feel like I 'm starting over every time I call. I have a " dedicated loan specialist '' whom is never available and does n't ever return my voicemails. You guys are my last hope to get this resolved.
