That debt was included in my Bankruptcy that was discharged in XX/XX/XXXX. It 's now showing up as a recent ( XX/XX/XXXX ) charge off. I called them directly and they referred me to their collection company XXXX to resolve an issue they never should have charged off. They never should have purchased it to begin with

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage company, Nationstar, has been charging my escrow account for an add-on insurance, which I did not sign up for. I have been trying for several months to get it taken off but they say they can not remove it without a cancellation letter yet NO ONE can find an additional policy under my or my husbands name - hence, they can not produce a cancellation form for me to sign, HENCE, they can not remove the charge. I am at my wits end!!! I have spoken to XXXX people at Nationstar customer service, Nationstar escrow department and the add-on insurance companies over the past months, all of whom I have documented names, dates and times of calls.

They have added escrow charges for paying my Home Owners Insurance that was already paid and expect me to get a refund from my insurance company. Because I refused to pay the escrow they put the mortgage payment in a suspense fund and will not apply it to the loan. And then they added late charges.

Consumer Complaint: We received the attached demand letter, on XXXX/XXXX/2015. After receiving a resolution letter from Nationstar on XXXX/XXXX/2015, we thought we resolved this issue. I called Nationstar Mortgage, Customer service did not know how to handle directed me to consumer relations. I called ( XXXX ) XXXX spoke with XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/15 & she said that she can not give any explanation nor any status and our Attorney has call on our behalf. I told her we do not have attorney representing us and she told me to write a letter stating so. We do not understand why they can not provide us straight answers. Nationstar is demanding {$9400.00} and we want to know how & why they came up with this amount as we have been sending in our monthly payments every month and have sent in cleared checks to prove the checks have cleared thru Nationstar.

Consumer Complaint: At the beginning of XXXX we received news from our home builder that we would close on it on XXXX XXXX. On Friday, XXXX XXXX, we received from the builder 's ( XXXX XXXX ) lending company XXXX a tax form to authorize them to obtain copies of our XXXX tax statements. By Monday, XXXX XXXX, we had found out that the form was being sent in too late to get copies and still make an XXXX XXXX close date. We also found out that the documents we were requested to send in and that we promptly sent back at the beginning of XXXX were the last XXXX months of bank statements, a copy of our HUD1 form and the contact information for our insurance agent. I had asked the representative to send me an email confirming receipt of the documents and she did. On Monday, XXXX XXXX we found out that all of the documents we had turned over had not been turned over to the underwriters at XXXX and our loan sat for XXXX weeks with no attention to it and no communication to my husband and I as to the status. My insurance agent also called me on XXXX XXXX to relay to me that she received a request for insurance certificate on the new home. The fax that XXXX sent to my insurance agent was dated XXXX XXXX and the fax requested that the insurance company provide a certificate dated as of XXXX XXXX when our original close date on the new home was XXXX XXXX. I have a couple of issues with this fax 1 ) the person who faxed the request to my insurance agent was the same person that I had just spoke with for the first time on XXXX XXXX and had informed me that none of my documents ( e.g., bank statements, HUD1 form etc. ) were on file ; and 2 ) the fax mentioned an effective date of XXXX which does n't correspond with a fax date of XXXX nor a close date of XXXX. On more than one occassion we have been asked to submit documents ( e.g., bank statements, W-2 's etc. ) after we have already submitted them and I never seem to deal with the same person. It appears as if XXXX XXXX has multiple people working on the loan but no one knows what the other is doing. It is at the failure of XXXX that we are now having to move our close date back.

The kicker : Nationstar services my mortgage already and I am perfectly fine with the conditions of my mortgage. I have repeatedly contacted Nationstar to refrain from sending me refinancing offers and they have not listened to me. I get the impression that Nationstar either wants to make money in refinancing again and again or they want me to be in their debt continuously. Get me into another XXXX year mortgage and the clocks starts all over again. Please do something about this.

Consumer Complaint: We were never late with our payments or missed any payments since the very beginning of our Loans up until to this day. Back in XX/XX/XXXX, Nationstar Mortgage have been harassing us with 2 months mortgage payments that they said was unpaid. We 've provided proof that the payments were made and were received by the previous mortgage company which is XXXX bank, to which and where Nationstar Mortgage had purchased our loan. In spite of the proofs that were submitted to Nationstar numerous times, Nationstar will never acknowledge those proofs even when these proofs were provided by our bank. Since then, Nationstar Mortgage will continue to harass us and gives us enormous stress and discomfort and many sleepless nights by constantly sending us threatening letters with a due date, one regular mail and the other certified mail, on sending us to court if we do n't pay the 2 months that they are claiming to be unpaid. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and we still get the same threatening letters, and each time the amount that they are asking us to pay is much higher than the previous harassment letter. We 've been waiting for them to make their threats to materialize so that we can directly show the judge of our proofs of payments but up to this time it 's all just a threat and harassment! Dealing with them on the phone is also a nightmare. It is so hard to get a hold of the person assigned to your account. When finally you 've managed to talk to your account manager and gave him or her your proof, suddenly, a week or so after, that account manager is no longer assigned to you and the proof you 'd sent that person is gone and the next person have no record of any conversation or of anything at all! We have been dealing with them for so many years and nothing, I mean nothing is being resolved. About 2 years ago, they 've written us a letter that the social security on their file is wrong and that they demand for a photo copy of my drivers license and social security card along with their signed form. My Social security have been the same since the beginning of my mortgage loans with XXXX bank, and now suddenly their record of my social security on file is wrong! Those were all provided to them 2 years ago and the manager at Nationstar told me that they have updated their system and all are now correct. This is what a manager will tell me as well after sending them the proof of payment that everything else is fine and that the payments were recorded and I am no longer behind. But after just 6 months, threatening harassment letters will come to mails again, one regular and one certified and the amount they are asking us to pay is much larger. The same as what had happened to my social security information. They are saying that no proof of Social Security were provided. This a nightmare, nightmare, nightmare. My final approach to resolve this nightmare and get Nationstar off our back is to refinance so that we can also get a much lower interest rate. We 've gone through the whole process of refinancing just a few weeks ago, but our realtor and loan processors ca n't move forward with refinancing because Nationstar is holding our Loan hostage. We do n't know what to do anymore! This is causing us too much pain and suffering. It seems like a dead end. We are also afraid that the rate will go up soon and we wo n't be able to get the low rate because Nationstar is holding our loan hostage! Nationstar Mortgage latest threatening letter is asking us to pay almost {$10000.00} now to which we do not owe ... Please help us to resolve this matter. You are our only hope in resolving this and stopping abusive mortgage company like Nationstar Mortgage. Please help us ...

Consumer Complaint: Good Afternoon, I am in foreclosure in Massachusetts. I lost my job in XX/XX/XXXX, and fell behind on XXXX payments. I believe I was up to date in XX/XX/XXXX, but Nationstar mortgage did n't cash my mortgage payments for XXXX, XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, then they put me into foreclosure. They sent me back XXXX of mymortgage payments not cashed, XXXX, XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX? I have been speaking with a representative from Nationstar about a modification for over a month now and now he wo n't answer his phone or return my calls? This is beyond frustrating. I am not sending them any money. They send someone to my house to put a note on the door telling me to call Nation Star, which they add to what I owe them, and they send this person a couple of times a week, and expect me to pay some ridiculous high fee. Is n't there some law were mortgage servicers are suppose to attempt to help a home owner stay in there home? Nation Star services mortgage for low income people and finds every possible loop hole to charge us exorbitant fee 's and interest rates. Nationstar is a servicer of mortgage payments, meaning they only handle the billing of mortgages, they do not provide loans for people to get mortgages. Nationstar is putting people into foreclosure because they do not get paid until the loan is paid off, so if they put consumers into foreclosure and the property is sold and they get paid in full once they have the properties title. I have contacted the Attorney Generals office in Massachusetts and they have been of no assistance. Thousands of peoples homes have been put into foreclosure and no one is coming to the aid of the American consumers. Any help or guidance would be GREATLY appreciated, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Ma XXXX

Consumer Complaint: The company that purchased my mortgage ( NATIONSTAR ) refuses to appropriate my extra payments as I direct them to. When I make extra, principal-only payments, they always take out interest. I have to call them XXXX a month to beg for them to change it. It takes a lot of time and I feel they are harassing and intimidating me ; or trying to wear me down. My checks specifically say principal only on them.
