Consumer Complaint: I get repeated " Annual Occupancy Certificate '' statements forms to fill out as terms of my Reverse Mortgage with Champion Mortgage and when I do send them in, they send another one within a month stating it is 2nd notice and I sent in the first one within one week of getting the first form. Even though I sent it back via their fax # and at same time, sent it via US Mail. When I called their customer service # and spoke with a guy known only as XXXX, he sated the records show receipt of my from from XX/XX/2016. But when I asked why they sent me a 2nd notice dated he said only that he guessed that the forms must of crossed themselves in the mail. But when I pointed out that there was a good 2 weeks from their receipt of my first form, he had no other explanation even though I asked for an answer as to why they did this. Upon doing a search of complaints about Champion Mortgage I found many, many complaints against them for shady practices such as setting up people to look like they were out of compliance on their loan and they were foreclosing. I have sent a letter to them asking for a response about why they send the same form to be completed when they know one has been submitted and received. I will attach a copy of that letter. After seeing all the complaints about this company I am very scared that they are setting me up for a false foreclosure and use this as an excuse to do so.

Consumer Complaint: For the past 6 years my mortgage payment including escrow has fluctuated between {$1200.00} and {$1400.00}. My most recent statement from Nationstar mortgage states they are raising my payment to {$2200.00} ( we have a fixed rate ), and I have a {$6500.00} escrow shortfall. How can a mortgage company justify such a huge increase, we borrowed the amount we did because that is what we can afford, now they are trying to charge us an amount that would be sufficient for a $ XXXX house when we only borrowed $ XXXX, this is almost double and highly impractical. I do feel that both our mortgage company and home insurance company are practicing predatory lending and unfair charges. I would like to have both companies contacted ( which I 've done ) to find out how they justify these extreme price/payment increases. Below is what I 've sent to the mortgage company already. How do you end up with a shortage of {$6500.00}, when that is the yearly total of my insurance and property tax? There is definitely something fishy with your estimation and payments of my ins. and tax. For instance my insurance is due once a year for a total of {$5100.00}, which you paid in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX, and my property taxes barely exceed {$2000.00} for the year. If you paid these already there is no way I 'm that far in the whole. Secondly, how do you expect a borrower to just come up with {$6600.00}? And charging {$1200.00} a month for escrow is insane on a mortgage that is barely $ XXXX. You have definitely made an error somewhere and you need to recalculate. I 'm going to write the FCC and any and all other governmental agencies that monitor Mortgage lenders and protect borrowers from predatory lending as this is not fair at all. You may also want to consider contacting my insurance as they mistakenly billed again the {$5100.00} in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX which I called them on and they reversed as it was paid in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX, if you paid that twice that would explain the shortfall and that should not be passed on to my wife and I in such an extreme matter as you are doing. Either Nationstar or XXXX need to improve the payable & recieveable departments or both!

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX 2016 I made a payment of {$3300.00} to Nationstar Mortgage via a bank wire from my account to the account they provided me. I have faxed them my bank statements and a screen shot showing the transaction, which was done in XXXX separate ones the first for {$2500.00} and the next for {$860.00}. I also called my bank and got the transaction confirmation numbers and gave those to Nationstar. Nationstar still has my house in active foreclosure and claim they have not received the payment and are researching the issue. Due to the foreclosure status they will not accept any payments until all the past due amount is paid which is with the {$3300.00} they are not crediting to my account. This is causing me additional late fees not being able to make my current payments. I do n't know how to get the money back or make them credit it even with the proof I have sent in.

Consumer Complaint: My home was foreclosed in 2014. Nationstar mortgage company has continued to want payment on XXXX Mortgage though the XXXX mortgage no longer exists. I have written them 2 times, and emailed them as well to resolve the issue and offer a payoff amount. They finally sent a letter back that I received on XX/XX/XXXX stating that they are looking into my request for a negotiated payoff. In addition to the first issue of paying off the XXXX mortgage, I also have a company named XXXX and XXXX that is stating that they took over the portion of the foreclosed loan from the XXXX mortgage that was left over after the foreclosure sale took place ( approximately {$170000.00} ). I need Nationstar to verify that Nationstar mortgage has authorized XXXX XXXX XXXX to act as debt collector and that I owe a balance of $ over XXXX on the first mortgage that went into foreclosure at my home located in XXXX. The letter sent back to me from Nationstar made no mention of nor did it answer to my request to get verification of this other debt collectors authorization to collect this debt since from what I know, once a foreclosure has taken place, I am no longer responsible for the foreclosed loan. I have also called Nationstar numerous times about settling the second debt and getting clarification on what if any, amount I owe on the XXXX mortgage after foreclosure. Whenever I call, the customer rep attempts to get me to make a payment on the XXXX loan and tells me to call another department regarding my questions. It has been a nightmare trying to communicate with Nationstar since we had initially agreed to do a deed in lieu to avoid foreclosure and without direct notice to me, Nationstar decided to put the home in foreclosure when it would have been very easy for me to do a short sale if the deed in lieu process was no longer an option. I spoke to a housing agency that helps consumers try to avoid foreclosure and they mentioned that they have never heard of another company like XXXX XXXX XXXX take over as a debt collector on a home that has already gone into foreclosure and continue to attempt to collect on and claim that I owe a balance of {$170000.00} on the first mortgage that went into foreclosure at my home. Please advise.

Consumer Complaint: My husband and I have just recently received our escrow analysis letter that stated that we needed to pay {$1500.00} in order to ensure that our escrow account is brought back up to date and that we would also have to pay {$650.00} a month due to this. We pay {$490.00} a month now and we have come to find out that they have taken out {$1300.00} in XXXX XXXX to pay the home insurance with XXXX different insurance companies and another {$750.00} in XXXX XXXX to pay the home insurance with a company that has a cancelled policy. They keep blaming it on the insurance companies, but we see it as they are taking money from us considering they are paying an insurance company that does n't have a policy on our house. Additionally, they are refusing to provide us with the declaration as well as refusing to provide a 14 month ( XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX ) printout of the escrow account so we can see where the money has gone to. We can not purchase a new roof due to our house payment increasing almost by XXXX % and our escrow is now negative.
