Consumer Complaint: I moved in XX/XX/XXXX so from XXXX I was on a month to month lease and the lease was not in affect until XX/XX/XXXX! I never terminated the lease because it never started! On XX/XX/XXXX I called and stated I could not afford to stay there anymore prior to the lease going into effect which the lease was for XX/XX/XXXX I moved out and forfeited my security deposit of {$1000.00}. There were no damages and a few things left to be cleaned out which should have been covered by my forfeited security deposit. The property XXXX XXXX threatened that my credit would be affected even though I paid a prorated amount of {$380.00} and moved out before the next payment was due. There should be no reason I owe anything. I checked my credit today and seen a collection balance of {$2700.00} for XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted her to tell her that I cant live there anymore! They cant just charge me money that I do not owe. I packed everything I could along with my XXXX children INSIDE A VAN and left! I could not obtain steady employment and I communicated this with her and she told me the owner isnt going to like this and is going to find something to charge me with. That is exactly what they did! This is a violation of FCRA!

Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly
Consumer Complaint: According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I have the right to ensure that XXXX and XXXX, as consumer reporting agencies, handle my private information fairly and with respect for my privacy. The law, specifically 15 USC 6801, states that financial institutions, including those furnishing information to credit agencies, must have an ongoing obligation to respect customer privacy. I emphasize that these agencies and the financial institution ( Furnisher of information to credit agencies ) lack my consent to furnish, my information, as stated in 15 USC 1681 section 604 ( a ) ( 2 ). Moreover, they did not inform me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option, a requirement under 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ). I argue that XXXX and XXXX are violating the law by reporting adverse information without my permission, as outlined in 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ). Additionally, 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) prohibits furnishing inaccurate information to consumer reporting agencies, and 15 U.S. Code 1681e mandates consumer reporting agencies to maintain reasonable procedures to avoid violations. Pointing to 12 CFR 1016.7, I highlight my right to opt out of their reporting services at any time. In summary, I assert that these entities are not adhering to various legal provisions designed to protect consumer rights regarding privacy and information accuracy.

Consumer Complaint: I requested via the 3 bureaus the info from this debt to include itemized calculations of debt, copy of contract or lease w my signature and other identification of who put this or allowed this debt to be in my name. Only XXXX has removed this debt on the basis that national credit systems is not licensed to collect in my state amongst other reporting errors. I have never lived in, went into contract, inquired for help or services or even seen these apartments before. I was never even sent a bill or notice. Requests were on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX refuses to acknowledge my disputes at all. Consumer Complaint: I lived with my wife at a complex called XXXX XXXX '. During our lease XXXX XXXX violated the terms of the lease. Our apartment was flooded 3 times weekly, had electrical issues due to the repeated flooding, and the neighbors upstairs had a vibrating bed that effectively sounded like an idling semi truck. After only 3 weeks of living at XXXX XXXX, we had already made multiple attempts with management to resolve the issue, which turned out to be an XXXX couple with XXXX that lived in the unit above us. We endured the lease as long as we could with no help from management to resolve the ongoing problems before moving out due to our denial of 'use of space ' clauses amongst the other lease violations by XXXX XXXX. We are currently pursuing litigation. XXXX XXXXXXXX, who is not authorized to even hire a debt collector as they are owned by XXXX XXXX, whom we are also suing, hired this shady debt collection agency. These people at National Credit Systems, sent a notice to our old address in an attempt to illegally circumvent the FCRA and FDCPA and 1 week after sending said notice, violated the FCRA and FDCPA yet again by placing this unowed debt on my wife 's consumer credit reports and my own. It is obvious that this debt collector is ad comfortable violating laws and our rights just as XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX were. I have nearly 9 months of video documentation of the ongoing flooding, the apartment vibrating and the loud incessant noise as well as the previous tenant who also moved out for the same reasons we did who fully intends on testifying to the fact that these issues were known, and XXXX XXXX deceived us intentionally to get us to move in by lying and telling us there were no issues with that unit.
