Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was already discharged in bankruptcy and is no longer owed
Consumer Complaint: The collector is National Credit Systems and they are reporting negative information that should have been discharged in bankruptcy and it is adversely affecting my credit score in being able to secure a mortgage for a house this year and I think that they need to delete this information immediately or I will get my bankruptcy lawyer to seek punitive damages in a defamation lawsuit because of the negative information being reported inaccurately to XXXX Credit Bureau. There is a right of stay for a reason and they have broken the right of stay and I will seek legal damages if they do not correct it and DELETE THIS INFORMATION IMMEDIATELY.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems is attempting to collect on a debt that doesn't belong to me. I have disputed this erroneous information and yet they are reporting that it's my debt. This debt is for an apartment complex called XXXX at XXXX apartments and the debt amount is for {$8000.00}. This debt is fraudulent. I have never lived in an apartment complex called XXXX at XXXX apartments. I have sent a copy my police report, my ID theft affidavit, and my FTC information and they won't respond. I have asked for validation such as a contract containing my signature or proof. There's no proof because this isn't my account.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for an apartment but then withdrew my application. My credit was run without my authorization and now National Credit System is trying to collect from me. The debt was never validated and I never received any notice about the debt. The debt is now listed on my credit report with the bureaus. I want the debt removed, as there was no authorization to run my credit or incur charges.

Subissue: Indicated you were committing crime by not paying debt
Consumer Complaint: I noticed on XXXX XXXX that the National Credit System , Inc posted that I owe XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX dollars for either a utility bill or rent. I told the debt collection agency numerous times that I never lived over there but I did apply for housing apartment back in 2016 yet they denied me so therefore someone in that apartment office kept my personal information on file to use it for someone else. It seems like I am not getting any help yet people want me to pay something that I didn't actually do so to avoid this going to a courthouse, I suggest this is taken off of my credit for fraudulent because I can't even give an address nor an apartment unit for that place since I supposedly lived there.
