Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX Apartments charged my family for ( nonexistent ) damages. XXXX XXXX has no record of me or my husband living there and can not prove the damages. XXXX XXXX Apartments never submitted a bill, email or phone call. Never contacted me or my family regarding the damages. XXXX XXXX Apartments submitted a claim to National Credit Systems, again without contacting us. National Credit Systems fraudulently filed the claim. By law : Within 5 DAYS of first contacting you, the debt collector must send you a letter telling you : the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor, information about what you can do if you think there has been a mistake or you dont actually owe the money. You have thirty days from receipt of this letter to dispute the debt. National Credit Systems never gave us any of the above information or allowed us to file a dispute claim. We have been calling, asking for the correct paperwork to file with the National Credit Systems for over 8 months. No information has been provided.

Consumer Complaint: Their has been unauthorized use of my credit report. I submitted a debt validation letter on XX/XX/21 in regards to this alleged debt with National Credit System. This alleged debt has never been validated and I demand it be removed from my credit report. This is unacceptable and in violation of the FDCPA. A furnisher may not furnish information that a consumer has identified as resulting from identity theft according to the FDCPA. No one is supposed to report to my credit report without permissible purpose. I never authorized or gave permissible purpose this company National Credit System to report on my credit report which is a violation of my consumer rights.I will bring this matter to the attention of the better business bureau and the office of attorney general of SC. Im a victim of identity theft and someone is using my identity to do things I have not authorized or the credit bureaus is reporting another person information on my credit profile. I am the original creditor, only I can validate this account. I do not validate this account. Therefore, the following account must be deleted from my report. I will seek litigation and {$1000.00} per violation for Defamation, Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud, Violations if these accounts are not deleted immediately off my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I was notified by National Credit Systems ( NCR ) of a debt I fraudulently owed to the XXXX XXXX apartments in XXXX, TX in XX/XX/2021. I submitted a fraud claim within the month only to have the same debt notification sent again in XX/XX/2021. In addition, the same fraudulent individual used my information again at the XXXX XXXX Apartments. Both apartment complexes are within 10 miles of each other in XXXX. I have never lived in XXXX and have no idea how my information was compromised. I am shocked and disappointed that letters to NCS and the XXXX XXXX apartments have not stopped XXXX XXXX XXXX from fraudulently using my information.

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, I am writing in regards to the collection reports that have been placed on my credit, from the original creditor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), the collection agency ( National Credit Systems ), credit bureau companies and whoever else that is claiming rental debt, third party debt collector, and credit bureaus ( data collection agencies ) collectively. I strongly believe that the companies mentioned above have also violated the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ) COVID-19 Moratorium and the COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act - SB91 ( Act ), federal law that the state of Michigan also supports. Additionally, earlier this year, I had mentioned to the entities/companies ( XXXX XXXX, National Credit Systems collection agency, and the credit bureau companies ) regarding the hardships that I have faced financially and emotionally. However, the companies have continued to bombard and harass me with notifications, payment demands, collection agency letters to my family and I, and credit reports that are still being done to this date. Lastly, I understand that CFPB is a regulatory federal agency who assists with fraud and identity theft prevention, as well as financial harm to consumers. I ask for CFPB to monitor and review the complaint entirely throughout the investigation process while forwarding it to the companies. Unfortunately, I strongly believe that my rights have been violated and I ask for these reports to be removed from my credit in a timely manner. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: HI : NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS / XXXX XXXX # XXXX {$2700.00} ; Im confused and stressed and shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. You have 30 days upon receipt of this letter to provide strict proof of contract. In addition, you will need to provide me your agreement, in writing, that you are closing your file, ceasing collecting activity, and deleting all information related to this reference number from any and all credit reports youve furnished the information to.
