Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, my insurance company XXXX dropped me because it said I got tickets. I did get a speeding ticket in XXXX but did not understand how I would be dropped for that. I moved to XXXX and reported the ticket and my Insurance was cheaper. Then they pulled my CLUE report and FL DMV report and my insurance went up due to a combined accident and speeding ticket in South Carolina. I was never in an accident, so I requested my Clue report and dmv report. It showed a speeding ticket causing an accident and a {$1000.00} insurance claim. I informed clue this was not me. I contacted the SC DMV, they verified it was a mistake and removed it from my record. They sent me a letter saying ut was removed from my record. I sent the letter the FL DMV and they pulled my record, it was removed so they took it off my record. I contacted XXXX, offered to send them the letter, they said they would investigate and get back to me around 30 days. I have never heard from them again other than the request for my record. My 6 month policy has run its course I go to renew thinking this would be gone XXXX is still showing that I have this {$1000.00} claim on my insurance. My insurance went up another {$500.00} for the next 6 month period. XXXX is ruining my driving record and costing me a lot of money based on incorrect information. And is sharing it with all insurance companies

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern I'm writing to seek your assistance in a pressing matter regarding my credit report. Two bankruptcy entries appeared on it, which I believe were inaccurately reported. These entries stem from Lexis Nexis, a credit reporting agency, and were shared with major credit bureaus- XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Lexis Nexis sources this information from the publicly accessible PACER ( Public Access to Court Electronic Records ) system. While the PACER disclaimer acknowledges the potential for errors, the concern here is the use of my data without the proper authority, which could infringe on 18 U.S. Code 912, resulting in legal penalties. These actions not only appear to breach federal laws but also my rights as a U.S. citizen. I request your help to prompt Lexis Nexis to remove these inaccurate bankruptcy records from my credit report within the legally mandated 30-day window. I also insist on an updated credit report after the matter is resolved. Additionally, I believe Lexis Nexis may have violated two more laws : the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 405 ( c ) ( 2 ) ( C ) ( i ) ) and Virginia Code 18.2-186.3, which concern the use and disclosure of SSNs without proper consent. Considering the gravity of these concerns, I implore the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to step in and facilitate the removal of these erroneous entries. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Subissue: Personal information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: About a year ago, XXXXXXXX XXXX declined my application for a XXXX. They disclosed they used information from LexisNexis/XXXX. When I requested the my consumer report from this consumer reporting agency, I found numerous entries with wrong or inaccurate information such records of another person 's name and address, emails, I have never used ; phone numbers I have never had. I have filed more about three disputes to remove this incorrect/inaccurate information. Each time the updated report returns with the same information ; no deletions. The only deletion that was made was an old bankruptcy filing that was still on my consumer report beyond the 7 year deadline for deletion of a XXXX XXXX Bankruptcy. It took me to file a dispute twice before it was deleted. This consumer reporting agency has more than 50 pages for each of their reports. So far, I have disputed content in my California consumer report because it is shorter. The problem with disputing with this agency is there is no written form to complete to file a dispute. You have to orally file your dispute line by line with a representative in real time over the phone. This can be tedious and quite frankly, I do not feel that he or she is effectively making note of the stated disputes, which is why I believe the records are unchanged or remains on the file. On XX/XX/23, XXXX XXXX called me to verify my address on file with them because they received a notice from XXXX that my address had changed. When in actuality, XXXX was trying to verify an old address in my file. This not the way to address a consumer 's dispute of their file.
