Consumer Complaint: Key Bank put out a notice. I first saw this notice on Thursday XX/XX/XXXX on my mobile banking app. The notice stated that the company was taking this time to process payments and the funds would be available at XXXX, specifically, on Monday XX/XX/XXXX. It is now after XXXX and from what I can see, nobody has received their payment. When anyone calls, they are told that they ( Key Bank ) does not have an answer for this and if it is not shown to be pending then the customer would not be receiving payment. Customers were also told " if you didn't get it by now, you're not getting it '' Which is completely untrue, unless it was stolen by the bank, during processing.

Consumer Complaint: I should have gotten my SSI check today XX/XX/2020 but my account was closed on the XXXX of XXXX. There was no letters from the bank saying there was a problem. I called the 1800 number talked to four different people. I was told that a supervisor was calling the main bank and they would get back to me. No did so I called back and was told I needed to work with my back about my funds that was in the account. They closed at XXXXXX/XX/XXXX today. So nothing anyone could do. I talked to my bank twice today. No one could tell me why my account was closed. I was told they sent letters out, but they could not find any they sent out. So I can not pay my rent feed myself or my pets and I cant get my truck fixed tomorrow. Had to get a appointment for that. All I was told was they was sorry.

There are plenty of locations in connecticut but my XXXX is registered in the XXXX where the closest location is in XXXX XXXX. I came in and attempted to open an account with all of the necessary documents, the articles of incorporation, tax id, personal I.D . ect. And the manager made me feel like a criminal, he said he drove by my house everyday on the way home acted as though my docunentation was not enough and began ask me for additional proof of address and proof of homeownership like tax records to which I replied that it's public record he also mentioned something about we do not open accounts because people want to, that's when I had enough and told him well maybe I don't want to anymore, i asked for his card and told him what I just experienced here is discrimination and your going to regret it and left.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I had a transaction on my account from XXXX. It said that I purchased an egift card for {$220.00} that I did not authorize. I called KeyBank, and they told me that I would have to call XXXX. So that was what I did, and XXXX said that they would file a dispute, and that I can call back between 10 and 14 days. So I called back and XXXX told me I would have to call my bank, which is KeyBank. I've been trying to call them and I get no answer. When I call them, I'm usually on hold for over an hour, and no one from the dispute department picks up, for me to file a dispute then the call will drop and I have to start all over again. This has been going on for over a week now with no change.
