My wife was a stay at home mom and the University sold me on Private Loans that they said worked like Federal loans to supplement my income. Consumer Complaint: My husband deposited checks for me at Key bank in XXXX NY using the drive thru teller. The checks never appeared on my statements and they just disappeared. I called Key bank at the location and they were not helpful and told me to call online. when i called online they told me to go to the branch. XXXX of the checks were from NY state and I had the stubs so I ordered copies of the front and back. They were drawn from a Key Bank account on XXXX/XXXX/2014. I cant seem to get anywhere with Key bank online or at the branch. I just tried to go online to check my accounts and I cant get on. I also noticed the security questions were none that I had chosen. Recently, I also got an email to fill out a survey for a XXXX NY branch which the survey said I recently visited. I never went near this branch. Where did my deposited checks go? Whose account has Key bank confused with mine?

Consumer Complaint: I WAS ASSESSED ATTORNEY FEES ON XXXX/XXXX/15 {$11.00} & {$150.00} ON XXXX/XXXX/15. WHEN I CALLED THE BANK ON XXXX/XXXX/15 I SPOKE WITH AN XXXX XXXX FOR AN HOUR, WHICH TIME HE TRIED TO TELL ME THE BANK HAD MADE A R.E. TAX PAYMENT ON MY BEHALF, WHICH IS TOTALLY FALSE AND EVERYTIME I TOLD HIM THIS HE GOT MORE BILIGERENT WITH ME TELL ME THEY DID. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THE CITY OF XXXX, ME. WOULD HAVE TOLD ME THEY RECEIVED A PAYMENT AND THE BANK WOULD HAVE ADDED IT TO MY BALANCE. FINALLY AN HOUR INTO THE CONVERSATION HE ADMITTED THE BANK DID NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENT ON MY BEHALF. WHEN I ASKED THAT HE CREDIT THE FRAUDULENT ATTORNEY FEES HE JUST SAID NO AND THATS THAT. I ASKED FOR ANOTHER NUMBER TO CALL AND HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME ONE UNTIL I THEN SAID I WOULD CONTACT XXXX & XXXX ATTY GENERALS OFFICE. I NOW CONTACTED XXXX XXXX AT THE XXXX RESOLUTIONS OFFICE, WHO TOOK A BRIEF STATEMENT FROM ME AND SAID SHE WOULD NEED ABOUT A WEEK, AT WHICH TIME SHE CALLED WANTING COPIES OF MY CANCELLED CHECKS FOR MY TAXES, WHICH I PROVIDED. SHE THEN CALLED BACK AGAIN SAYING I PAID ON XXXX/XXXX/15 BUT THE TAXES WERE DUE XXXX/XXXX/15, FOR WHICH I EXPLAINED THE CITY OF XXXX, ME HAS A GRACE PERIOD, I ASKED IF THEY HAD RECEIVED ANY NOTICE FROM THE CITY OF XXXX SAYING I WAS LATE AND SHE SAID NO. ANOTHER WEEK PASSES AND XXXX CALLS TO TELL ME THE BANK ORDERED AN EQUITY REPORT ON ME, THEREFORE THERE WILL BE NO CREDIT. MY TAXES ARE PAID IN FULL AND I HAVE NEVER ONCE BEEN LATE ON A PAYMENT TO KEYBANK IN XXXX YEARS, THEREFORE I BELIEVE THESE " ATTORNEY FEES '' ARE FRAUDULENT AND UNWARRANTED. I HAVE SPENT OVER XXXX HOURS ON THIS MATTER AND I CANT BELIEVE A GOOD STANDING CUSTOMER OF A BANK GETS THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IS LEFT WITH NO RECOURSE WHEN THE BANNK ASSESSES UNWARRANTED ATTORNEY FEES ... ... ... ..IF THESES EQUITY REPORTS WERE A NORMAL PROTOCOL OF THE BANK WHY DID IT TAKE XXXX WEEKS TO COME UP WITH THIS LAME EXCUSE AND WHY WOULD THEY NEED TO ORDER IT ON SOMEONE WITH SUCH A PRISTINE CREDIT RECORD ... ... ... .I DID NOT ASK FOR REPORT TO BE ORDERD NOR DO I BELIEVE ITS WARRANTED, THE HOUSE IS WORTH ABOUT XXXX AND THIS HELC OF XXXX IS THE ONLY DEBT ON THE HOUSE

Consumer Complaint: What Happened? Subject : Key Bank National Association " Key Bank '' extending processing, not evaluating documents properly. XXXX submitted XXXX requesting modification result from Separation settlement. XXXX has noted that a financial hardship does exist as a result of the marriage separation due to the extra cost involved. XXXX has provided all required documents to Key Bank, only to be denied. Key Bank commenced double tracking while homeowner was acting in good faith under the DOJ/ XXXX States Attorney Generals Agreement : the National Mortgage Settlement Agreement. Key Bank is discriminating against homeowner claims, in a form of reverse discrimination ; holding the mortgage in extended processing, denying a loan modification while homeowner is qualified. This homeowner, feels that her case has been unfairly treated for the following reasons:1. No active single point of contact, constantly changing, when calls made to the single point of contact, routine routed to the collection department, never the same contact person. 2. Currently there is no single point of contact assigned to the pending foreclosure. 3. I am qualified and able to request the MP2 modification via the National Mortgage Settlement Agreement and the DOJ Department of Justice XXXX States Attorney General 's Settlement Agreement. 4. Homeowner is eligible under the CFPB Consumer Finance Protect Bureau guidelines : to request a XXXX mortgage principle reduction and or the HELOC forgiven. 5. Homeowner has a XXXX mortgage and HELOC with Key Bank Account numbers : 1 ) XXXX and 2 ) XXXX. 6. Key Bank has made a formal demand to start foreclosure proceedings on the Account number : XXXX : dated XXXX XXXX, 2015. 7. Key Bank has started a double tracking procedure on XXXX XXXX, 2015 while homeowner is trying to work out a solution with in the HAMP guidelines. 8. Homeowner is in a state of fear created by the collection tactics by Key Bank collection department. The Banks ' failure to discharge their required loan modification obligations, during homeowner 's honest attempt to save their home from foreclosure. Alleged violations, included, but are not limited to, the following : a ) Failing to perform proper loan modification processing ; b ) Failing to manage processing agents and special points of contacts, therefore causing the processing center unable to handle homeowner 's caseloads, a form of mortgage discrimination against homeowners.

Consumer Complaint: Key Bank called my cell phone on Friday, XXXX XXXX asking to speak to someone other than myself. When I informed them that they had the wrong number the caller became irate and accused me of lying about the fact that they had indeed called the wrong number. I believe that Key Bank is also responsible for a call I received XXXX weeks ago from an attorney 's office looking to collect a debt. They left a message and when I called them back they told me they had no information to give me as to why they called but wanted me to volunteer my name which I refused to do.

Consumer Complaint: keyBank has been charging me overdraft fees stay in that I am transferring funds from account to account within the same bank reflecting that I had the money would be in the account I when I transfer it says that is available and then they would apply overdraft fees they in that the account was not accurate continuously hitting people with overdraft obsessively their system is not up-to-date and give an accurate information I opt out for not to have the overdraft fees stay in if the money if the monies not in the XXXX do n't let the transaction go through I feel like KeyBank is has figured out a way around the government new law to charge customers overdraft fees and fees and so on

Consumer Complaint: I bank with Key Bank, and have for many years, having XXXX accounts with them. In XXXX, 2014, I began to pay the wrong amount on my line of credit -- {$1200.00} vs. the correct amount of {$1300.00}. This went on through XXXX -- XXXX months. My error. However, Key did not notify me of this uncharacteristic behavior, instead issuing me late fees, while not notifying me of that, either. I made timely, if erroneous, payments -- only XXXX, actually, in an XXXX month period, while never being called by Key. XXXX the late fees and the accrual of the amount owed ( {$400.00} total ) led Key to submit this to credit reporting, again with no notification to me of their action. When I began the process of refinancing my mortgage, the error was " discovered '' by my financial consultant, who had pulled credit. When I went to talk with Key, seeing if there could be some resolve to this, they rejected any form of leniency, denying responsibility.
