Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to you to report a fraudulent charge made to my Ink business credit card account by JP Morgan Chase. On XX/XX/2022, a mysterious charge of {$3500.00} for Pet Supplies appeared on my account. I have no knowledge of this transaction, as I do not own a pet, and I have never been to a pet store in XXXX, TX where the transaction supposedly took place. I have been disputing this charge with JP Morgan Chase for months, and they have not been able to provide any evidence that this transaction actually took place. I have done my investigation and found that there is no pet store in XXXX, TX with the name they provided, and the store that comes closest to their description has no record of a transaction for that amount on that day. I have contacted JP Morgan Chase 's executive level team, but they have been unhelpful, giving me the same answer every time and making me wait a month before responding. I have been told that I am responsible for this charge, even though they can not prove that it actually happened. I believe that JP Morgan Chase has committed fraud and is trying to make me pay for a charge that I did not make. I am requesting your help in resolving this matter and holding JP Morgan Chase accountable for their actions. I have evidence to support my claims and can provide further details upon request. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I noticed that my credit reports have been ruined by this company on information that has not been validated. My consumer credit reports have been ruined due to the businesss abusive and deceptive practices. I contacted the credit card agency with a letter regarding my findings and still have not received a response and it has been more than 30 days since the letter has been sent. My complaints were as followed : To whom it may concern : Please note that this is not a refusal to pay off the account but a notice sent as per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), 15 U.S.C. 1692 ( G ) Section 809 ( B ). My consumer credit reports have been ruined due to the businesss abusive and deceptive practices. I noticed that there were inaccuracies on my consumer reports, such as the balance of {$960.00}, and a closed account reported by your company. This has destroyed the lively hood for my children and I to live sustainably, such as purchasing a home of our own, and being able to take care of their necessities. This is very disheartening for me and caused a lot of emotional distress for myself and my children. This notice is not a request for verification of the account or proof of my mailing address but a request for validation made pursuant to the FDCPA laws. I humbly request that your agency/office sends me valid proof of claim that I am legally obligated to pay you and that late payments were made and updated pursuant to 15 U.S.C 1666B. I am demanding the removal of the negative items if the information is not validated. Due to this reason, if any negative item is reported to any of my credit reports by your agency or the agency that you represent, then I will be compelled to take legal steps against you for the below-mentioned reasons under 15 U.S.C. 1692 ( a ) ( 1 ) as well as the following : *Misuse of my copyrighted property *Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( F.C.R.A. ) *Defamation of character *Violation of the F.D.C.P.A *No consent was given *Invasion of privacy I would like to inform you further that if any action is taken during the validation period which could be regarded as detrimental to any of my credit reports, then I will seek advice about initiating a lawsuit. This includes listing any information on a credit report that could be incorrect or invalidated, or confirming an account as correct when, in fact, there is no provided evidence that it is. If your agency can provide me with the requested documents, I will need a minimum of thirty ( 30 ) days to investigate this information, and during this period of time, all collection activities must be stopped. Also, I request that you provide evidence that I must pay you in anything other than appropriate commercial paper should the debt be proven valid because, to my knowledge, the U.S. Congress provided the appropriate solution for me to settle my debts via the remedy in House Joint Resolution ( H.J.R. ) 192 of June 5, 1933, under the United States, Public Law 73-10, and Public Law 48 stat. 112 ( among others ). If your agency/company fails to respond to this debt validation request within a period of ten ( 1XXXX ) days from the date of your receipt of my notice and affidavit, then the account information must be completely deleted from my credit report, and a copy of such deletion request should be sent to me at once, or I will take legal action. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a chase business card. I have been a long time chase customer with excellent payment records. I was declined the card and when I contacted customer service for reconsideration I was told I was denied because chase has an rule regarding having more the 5 cards in the last 24 months. I told the agent in that same month some cards would be coming out of the 24 month period in XXXX. The agent told me she saw what I was referring to and I should call back on XX/XX/XXXX to request reconsideration. When I called on XX/XX/XXXX the agent refused to further look at my account and said I had already spoke to an agent. I tried to explain to him that I was told to call back on this date, but he would not take into consideration what I was saying. I requested to speak with a escalation specialist. This agent told me there are no escalation specialist available on weekend. I requested a call back from the escalations department and I was told they would I would receive a call back on Monday or Tuesday of this week. That call never came.

Issue: Problem with a lender or other company charging your account
Subissue: Transaction was not authorized
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 there were three fraudulent transactions made to my bank account which resulted in a total of almost XXXX dollars which I had not authorized. The same day the fraud was commited, not even 20 minutes after I arrived at a Chase bank and made them aware of the situation. One of the representatives there cancled my account on which the fraud had occured on and made me a new account. Which the next day appeared to had transferred over the fraud into my new account. When I tried again reaching out to chase no help was provided. So when I went to the police department to make a report they asked that I bring in a dispute form which Chase refuse to give me multiple times and till this day I have not recieved that form. Which did not permit me to move forward with the investigation. Also when I called Chase and their team including their executive office I was told many times that there was nothing they could do for me and refused to give me any information that could help me. The only information I was given was by Chase was that the transactions were made to a XXXX XXXX account. Which I reached out to XXXX XXXX and they told me that the information of the account could only be given to the police and inorder for me to allow the police to work on my case they needed the dispute form for the fradulent transctions. That like I mentioned before I was denied. They also just keep saying that there is no way that they can prove that it was a fraud when it clearly was and also refuse to give me a dispute form for those transactions so I can bring to the police inorder to prove its a fraud and I can sign under a judge that I have nothing to do with the fraudulent transactions nor do the two other individuals on my account.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to file a complaint against a scam provider who charged me {$150.00} through XXXX on XX/XX/2023. Despite being promised a refund, I have yet to receive any reimbursement for this fraudulent charge. I have also disputed this charge with Chase Bank, but they keep referring me back to XXXX and vice versa. The charge was made without my authorization, and I have made every effort to resolve this issue with both XXXX and Chase Bank. However, I have not received any satisfactory resolution to this matter. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way this situation has been handled, and I feel that I have been treated unfairly as a consumer. I am requesting your assistance in obtaining a full refund of {$150.00} for this fraudulent charge. I believe that it is only fair that I receive a full refund, given the circumstances. I have all the necessary documentation to support my claim, including proof that the charge was not authorized by me and that I have made numerous attempts to resolve the issue. I am looking forward to your prompt attention to this matter and a speedy resolution to this issue. I appreciate your help in this regard and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Consumer Complaint: The complaint is about Chase bank. I was planning to close my XXXX XXXX savings account, so I needed to transfer the funds to my Chase checking account. Through the Chase website, I set up two electronic transfers, since there is a {$25000.00} daily limit. The first transfer on XXXX processed without issue. The second transfer on XXXX was pending review, and then I received a voicemail from the Chase fraud prevention department. When I called them back, they told me that I could no longer transfer funds from my XXXX XXXXXXXX account to my Chase account via ACH. I asked for an explanation, and they refused to provide one. They said I could do a wire transfer, probably so they could collect the associated fees.
