Consumer Complaint: I attempted to purchase a vehicle from a " company '' called Chase Auto Sales on XXXX Chase Auto Sales LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX OH XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX After speaking with the " salesman '' a few times, I wired money from my XXXX XXXX account on XX/XX/23 to a Chase Bank account ( which I assumed was legitimate for a company to have ) The routing number was XXXX XXXX XXXX and the account number was XXXX XXXX XXXX. Within a few days, the seller was no longer responsive and I began a case though my bank at XXXX XXXX who after multiple calls to Chase Bank XXXX was not able to resolve this issue. When I spoke with Chase Bank fraud dept on XXXX they said they were not able to help me because I was not a Chase customer, although they did verify the this was indeed an open and working account- but that was all they would help me with, and could not take any action on this account.

Consumer Complaint: I tried to log into my account to pay my bill. When I logged in I was not provided my phone number to get my access code texted to me. I called and they said I had a different number on file I said that is impossible as I had same number for over 15 years and I used the same number every time I previously logged in and was sent an access code to my number XXXX. I am concerned that they have no records of my number so i question their record keeping. They were unable to look at my historical records and verify the number. The verbally gave me a compeletly different number and refused to do anything so I said I'll get CFPB to look into this as there is a problem with their record retention, which is a CFPB offense. I request CFPB inquire Chase Marriott Bonvoy on first how my number was changed without my authorization and how they lack the records to verify historically the number that was provided to access my account in the past. I have attached a screen shot from my phone to confirm.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023. I was not able to get direct deposit from my job because of the issue with XXXX XXXX XXXX. So I had to go to the bank to cash my check ( {$1500.00} ) and the teller stated I was unable to cash it and I still had the option of depositing it. After depositing it the teller stated there was a hold on the check up until XX/XX/XXXX. Now I cant access any of the money. I live paycheck to paycheck and have bills that need to pay. Fortunately I have savings but shouldnt have to use it because of the hold Chase put in my account.

Consumer Complaint: Chase closed all my credit card accounts back in XXXX. The reason stated was excessive dispute amount. The fact that XXXX cancellations were still a thing was completely ignored by Chase. Upon speaking with a representative, who identified as a supervisor and called me to explain the reasoning, I was assured I could always apply in the future, and this decision wouldn't have any impact on my future applications. I applied once again and on XX/XX/XXXX I was approved for a Chase Sapphire card with a credit line of {$21000.00}. Today, when attempting to use my card for the first time, Chase Customer Service informed me that it had been closed due to bank policy on excessive dispute amount.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I used my Chase business credit card to make a purchase a littler over {$5000.00} the merchandise was never delivered to me but I did get a notification saying it was delivered by XXXX, I immediately called the supplier and let them know, they advised me that sometimes such issues happens and the item gets scanned by mistake and I was to wait an additional 8pr 10 days, I thought that was a really long time frame and was sure to get a second confirmation on the wait time. However, I called about 7 days later and was told that I should have been informed from the first call that I needed to make a police report in order to dispute this matter, I then immediately called my credit card company ( Chase Business ) and explained to them whom assured me they will take care of it and I didnt need to go to the police, so I trusted in them only to receive a notification a few weeks later saying I need to check my messages on the app, I read through the message and was informed that I will be charged for the item because XXXX provided them with a signature of delivery, although the signature is not mine, I did not meet with XXXX no one from my home received the delivery, I am being charged for an item I did not received because XXXX provided a fraud signature and state that they delivered the merchant. On multiply occasions XXXX will leave a signature required item without receiving a signature and sign it themselves, I submit a second dispute and was denied once again. I can not afford nor is it fair for me to pay for an item I did not receive, and I feel like Im drowning with no help in sight all because I cant provide proof that XXXX delivered my package but XXXX provided a signature that was not mine and the credit card company accepted that.

Consumer Complaint: Did a dispute with JPMCB AUTO FINANCE about the collection being reported to my creditors and that it was false. It shows as a charge off/cancellation of debt therefore it should not be on my credit report being that that is in violation of the federal reporting act since I never received a 1099c and they basically already have been paid. All they did was change payment dates around which I never said anything about dates. They are also reporting different amounts to creditors.

Consumer Complaint: Chase asked me to close my accounts with them, and never provided any explanation. I closed the accounts but have booklets of Checks ordered a few months prior the closure. When I called the customer service for the refund of the money used in purchasing the checkbooks, I was told that the loss is on me. I am requesting for Chase to provide me with the refund and also to send me how to return the unused checkbooks.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: JP Chase Charge off a debt and then sold the debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I open an account with JP Chase in 2013 with a balance transfer. Chase never sent me a billing statement. At the same time, I opened a bill payer with XXXX XXXX to pay JP Chase every month for {$100.00}. The plan was to modify my payments to payoff the debt before the grace period ended. I forgot about Chase because I never received any billing statements by mail or electronically, but the XXXX XXXX payments were sent every month. Chase Charged off the debt and sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX. The {$100.00} payment were still going to Chase even though they sold off the debt. My credit report still reflects that Chase is the holder of the debt, no mention of XXXX XXXX XXXX. Chase never notified me the debt was Charge off or sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX. Chase has been receiving my payments for years and then sending them to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I only found out about XXXX XXXX XXXX because I answered the phone after persistent calls to stop the calls. It is my understanding that JP Chase is required to notify me of the Charge off and requires my sign of to sell the debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX. None of this occurred. JP Chase is still reporting debt even though it has been sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I participated in the chase auto payment deferral program due to covid 19 hardship. On deferral months payments would be added to the end of the loan with no effect on your credit rating. However, I was marked with a 30-day late in XX/XX/2020 and again on XX/XX/2020. My auto payment was deferred in both instances ( XXXX & XX/XX/2020 ). I have uploaded a copy of my credit report showing both 30-day lates. As well as statements for both months showing my payments were in fact deferred.

Consumer Complaint: My credit report continues to show a balance on my Chase United Explorer account of {$5100.00}. There has been no update since XX/XX/2022 and I have paid down the balance significantly. I contacted Chase Bank and they claimed they could only start reporting the correct amount after I sent them a letter stating that the dispute I was had with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was settled in a Small Claims case in XXXX XXXX. This statement should suffice and I am demanding that Chase start reporting the correct information to the credit bureas for my Chase United Explorer Account under te name of XXXX XXXX
