Consumer Complaint: I received a Visa Sapphire credit card in the mail on XXXX. I had not applied for it. After calling XXXX today, XXXX, I discovered that someone applied for it on XXXX fraudulently evidently. I never activated this card but there were charges totaling {$520.00}. The customer service agent said they would cancel this account and I would not be held responsible for paying the bill as of XXXX. Previously back in XXXX, I tried calling XXXX to complain. I would not give my XXXX digit SSN when they asked over the phone.

Consumer Complaint: Chase-my account has checking and credit card. Checking was closed with no reason. They said it was negative and cant be negative more than 60 days and my account had no movement for months. But I had my direct deposit coming in every 15 days. So I asked them Id like to pay for the negative amount that I owe you so I can have access to my statement. They said the amount was XXXX now because the couple of direct deposit bring them to positive so they closed it. Until now I sincerely dont understand why did they close my account and never give me a statements. For chase sapphire credit card - I just closed it this year XXXX. I missed a few payment so my credit score went bad and credit card was closed since XXXX kept account open to pay the debt and interests. I asked them about the coronavirus fee relief and I never be able to waive a single cent. I paid off my credit card with interest and fee. Same issues occurred but this time my login was block I couldnt log in to my account. Call them to be ask for full credit card info that I was closed in XXXX or account number that I had only last 4 digits. I try to get my information to be told that my account was locked due to fraud transactions. What? My credit card was closed by chase, I only paid during the time after it was closed. I couldnt use any credit on that card even if I paid off. Now my accounts was ban from fraud transactions. Need full credit card numbers of over two years ago card, full acc number when I have left was last 4 digits of my account number on my email, ssn is not allowed to be used for searching at the time. Statements will be paper released only if I provided 16 digits number card or account. Chase what are you afraid of? Or hiding? The number never lie, I paid off by sending fund from another account. The day I asked you to waive late fee because I was short about {$10.00} from over {$200.00} minimum payment. Your customer service said only {$10.00} I should have no problem. She did great though to remind me {$10.00} was lower than my minimum wage for an hour and I would definitely be charged if I failed. I dont know how to say it so I hang up. Just want to explain I was laid off suddenly late XXXX, XXXX payroll records. All my last paycheck was used to paid credit card XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and chase credit account. I can borrow from friends and family but I did that before and not really proud of it. Charge me if you think it is necessary it is just gon na take me a day longer to pay you off. Never claimed unemployment nor plan to claim it. That was the message I want to tell her.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I received a text message from my mother a picture of a Chase letter stating to send additional information for the application to be submitted. I had not submitted an application to Chase bank. The application was submitted using my name, my mom 's address, and our previous home phone number that is no longer in service. This is how I received notice because it was sent to my mom 's address. I looked at my credit report and identified a hard injury by JPMCB Card services on XX/XX/2023. This is when I realized someone had stolen my identity. Looking at my credit report on XXXX, there is a section labeled as Account Review Injuries. On XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023, XXXX is listed. I have never used XXXX and was unaware of what XXXX was. I have now learned that it is a credit website where I believe they created an account using my personal information. I have sent the customer support an email and am waiting for a reply. Using XXXX, a credit alert for JPMCB Card and card services on XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023. I have filed a police report on XX/XX/2023. I called Chase and am waiting to receive a letter to verify the cancelation of the application. I have placed a fraud alert on XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I have also frozen my credit on all accounts. And am currently calling to dispute the hard injury and label the address and home phone number as fraud. I will be contacting my three lines of credit and my bank. I plan to send in the information to extend the seven year fraud protection.

Consumer Complaint: I was on bill pay to schedule a Motgage payment, for some reason it went to my previous mortgage company, that company was closed when the check was cashed. I called Chase to put stop payment on that, they told me they will try to find out whats going on and never received any respond from them since. Is there any way we can trace who and when this check got cashed? I also went to the Bank and they told me there is nothing they can do ; so am I just losing my {$5300.00}? As a XXXX XXXX, is there anything I can do at all?

So, I'm upset they ran my credit and now I have an inquiry request on my credit report. Plus, I'm going to be putting money in my account so why am I denied. I think this is discrimination because I don't have great credit. It's not like I'm asking for a credit card. This is definitely not fair. I guess this is how big corporations work.

Consumer Complaint: I disputed a charge with XXXX through Chase and I didn't get an acceptable resolution and my appeal was denied without explanation. I tried to speak to someone from dispute department on the phone but I was told that's impossible. My dispute was about a defective product that I tried to return but was denied due to an error in XXXX system. XXXX themselves told me through email support the only way to correct it would be to dispute the charge. The first time I disputed I was denied and Chase attached a letter with an answer from XXXX that only contained a printout of the order details and a single line about how it's ineligible for a return. I then appealed the dispute and attached my appeal document that contained a reply from XXXX email support telling me to dispute the charge and my complaint letters to FTC and Attorney General against XXXX. After 15 days I received a generic letter informing me that " the charges are valid '', no answer from XXXX was attached. The letter was saying " no billing error occurred on your account '', but that wasn't the reason for the dispute. It wasn't about a billing error, it was about a defective product. I'm not sure anyone from Chase dispute department even looked at the appeal document, it seems my dispute was closed automatically. Chase didn't answer my secure message when I asked them if the appeal document was received. Consumer Complaint: Let me first start off by saying I have been banking with chase for over 3 years and never had an issue. In XX/XX/2023 I received my commissions check from a company I have been doing business with for months and never had an issue. I deposited the check in my chase personal account on XXXX XXXX th check was placed on a hold from XX/XX/2023 until XXXX of XXXX. The money was released into my personal check account today. I withdraw $ XXXX cash and then withdraw $ XXXX cash which I needed a total of $ XXXX however the branch that gave the $ XXXX didnt have the full amount available. As soon as that was done my bank account is now frozen, I go to the local branch in XXXX GA off XXXX XXXX area and spoke with VP XXXX XXXX who called the issuing bank XXXX to verify the check and it was verified by XXXX the funds are good, no stop payments, everything is good to go. However chase back office said that isnt good enough, we need to speak now with the person who gave you the check. Okay so I provide them with a number to call now chase is saying thats not good enough because that phone number isnt registered to the person name who gave me the check in XXXX XXXX which makes no sense because nowadays numbers arent registered in people names, chase is finding every excuse now to steal my money and I want it back now! I have been using the account with no problems so now why is it a problem! I want my money. Chase can not do this, is it because XXXX XXXX!! The money has cleared one bank, I need the money for my house bills and now chase is stealing it.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX deposited check # XXXX In the amount of {$2800.00} from XXXX XXXX, a company that my friends XXXX and XXXX XXXX own. These are friends I have know for 14 years, They have had their company registered since XX/XX/XXXX and had the phone number used for this company since XXXX. A hold was placed on the check, which I full expected and complied with. XX/XX/XXXX I tried to transfer money I had in the savings account prior to the deposit of the check to cover some bills I paid. It would not let me transfer and I thought it was an error in my Chase App. XX/XX/XXXX, the payments came through and made my checking account overdrawn. I called to see why I could not transfer money and I was told my savings account was restricted due to not being able to verify the owner of the check. I confirmed the phone numbers with XXXX and XXXX XXXX and they confirmed the phone number was correct. I was being asked all sorts of questions as if I was trying to perform something illegal. I explained I was loaned some money for car repairs. I was told that they would not even call the number because it was not coming up as a verified number in the database you use. I asked why the rest of my money that was in the account prior was locked as well, they could not tell me except it was restricted but I could go into the branch and transfer money with a teller. After I got off work I rushed to the branch and transferred the money to avoid any overdraft fees. I then decided instead of pestering the phone reps I would just wait for the check to clear the bank, thinking that would resolve any issues. On XX/XX/XXXX my friends informed me that the check had cleared their business account. On XX/XX/XXXX after the holidays, I called to find out when the check would be released because it had cleared their bank. I was told it was still under review and to call back tomorrow. On XX/XX/XXXX I saw that the funds had been released in my Chase app so therefore I did not call back, and I began getting estimates for my repairs. I want to note that I am moving to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and needed these repairs done before I moved. On the evening of XX/XX/XXXX, I checked my account and saw that both the check of {$2800.00} and the remaining amount of my savings {$780.00} had been deducted from my savings account and {$780.00} was placed in my checking account. By the morning of XX/XX/XXXX, my savings account had been closed. Mind you, no notice was ever given to me. I called back and asked the representative to just refund the money to the originating bank so they could get me a cashiers check instead. I was told the only way to resolve this was to have my friends go to their bank and do a stop payment on the check and issue me a new check. I said I would do that, and they would get me a cashiers check but I will be closing my accounts with Chase. XX/XX/XXXX, they spoke to their bank XXXX and asked for a stop payment. The bank told them that was impossible because the check had already cleared, and Chase had the funds for almost XXXX weeks. XXXX also told them they had no idea what database Chase was referring to in order to verify the business phone number. At this point it is too late to get the repairs done on my vehicle and I am going to have to tow my car to XXXX, Texas. XX/XX/XXXX, I called to resolve the situation and was told that the check was suspended and they would not release the funds until they could verify the phone number. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told the same thing. I asked what database they are using to verify the phone number and she said she could not tell me that. So I explained, that I personally can not change the database to add this number, and I am literally stuck. This is money I have to pay back and I cant access it for my car repairs. They said it could come back as fraudulent for up to 6 months. I have banked with Chase for 30 years and have never done anything for them to think I would deposit a fraudulent check. It is humiliating being treated like a criminal when you are not.

Consumer Complaint: My order # XXXX was allegedly delivered via XXXX tracking # XXXX on Monday, XX/XX/2023 at XXXX XXXX. I immediately called XXXX XXXX XXXX to let them know that the package was never delivered. They said they would issue a refund, which I never received so I disputed it with my bank. My bank ( Chase ) issued a temporary reversal of the charge in the amount of {$87.00} until the investigation was completed. XXXX XXXX XXXX provided a proof of delivery photo from XXXX which it clearly shows that the package was actually delivered to someone else 's house instead of mine. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX back on XX/XX/2023 because the bank charged my account for the amount, due to a proof of delivery photo that was provided by XXXX XXXX XXXX. The photo that was provided by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, shows the package on a mat in front of someone else 's house NOT MINE. The photo also shows that the garage is to the right of their porch and the number on the house is not showing in the photo. My garage at my home XXXX is to the left of my porch. You can also see the number is posted visibly on my house. I disputed the transaction with Chase and the charge was reversed due to the picture XXXX XXXX XXXX furnishing PROOF IF DELIVERY which was the photo provided by XXXX. After getting notice of the reversal charge, I contacted Chase and was told that due to the " PROOF OF DELIVERY '' photo which was provided by XXXX XXXX XXXX the investigation was closed and that it was nothing further that could be done. The representative just didn't want to hear that XXXX made an error. After explaining that XXXX delivered the package to the wrong address. I then filed a missing package report with XXXX, but was told that all resources were exhausted and the package couldnt be located. XXXX then informed me that I needed to again contact XXXX XXXX XXXX to file a claim for the lost package, which they refused after speaking with XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, my account had a balance of XXXX, on XX/XX/2023, that very account had a balance of XXXX. I contacted Chase bank to figure out where the money went. While speaking to the representative, I explained what happened. I was informed that my account was positive and had a a balance of over XXXX. I said that it is not reflected on my end. The rep then proceeded to tell me about pending transactions. Pending transactions come out from the available balance immediately after a transaction is what I said. She then said thats not what she was going to say. Several transactions kept re-pending on my account.
