Consumer Complaint: I was robbed by Chase for about {$14000.00}. In 2021 i was awarded a check from The ERAP Program of Colorado. This check was to help me avoid XXXX during the XXXX outbreak. I in Turn Opened a Chase Bank Account Since the check was a Chase Check. Once i opened the account and established myself with the New Bank account i went ahead and deposited the ERAP check made out to me directly into my New account. I waited the time the bank told to i needed to have it clear. I also held off my Landlord from eviction another few weeks, explaining that he would be paid in full once the check was clear. When the time came for the check to clear. I went to try and make a withdrawal of the funds. I was asked by a Manager of the Branch where i had gotten the check and asked why i was trying to Fraud Their bank with a faulty check. I explained what ERAP was and explained that i was running out of time so please process the check asap. For more then 6 weeks i was given the run around, transfered to different head quarters around the country. I supplied Every necessary proof of the checks legitimacy to no avail. They would not even give me back the check so i could cash it at a cashing center to save my home.Finally i was evicted and lost everything i had to my name. My last XXXX was spent on trying to keep my family off of the streets until i succumbed and was forced to beg family to atleast let my children stay with them. I ended up literally on the streets in a shelter. XXXX later chase sent an email apolgizing and asking if i would like my account back since they wrongly closed it. But no mention of my check or money. This is a spit in the face to all the XXXX XXXX help Our Government faught for and a blatant slap in my face discriminating me for my appearance and race as i didmt look the part depositing a {$12000.00} check. My family and i did not deserve this. We lost everything we had and are still trying to recover from this.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote a check for payment of my Chase Freedom Visa card. I wrote the check in the amount of {$1700.00}, payable to Chase Card Services, and mailed it to XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. The check was written on my XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX checking account. Sometime between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX the check mailed to Chase Card Services was stolen and altered. When I attempted to balance my checkbook on XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that check had been altered. EVERYTHING on the check had been changed except my signature. The date on the check was changed to XX/XX/XXXX. The check was then made payable to XXXX XXXX XXXX and the amount was changed to {$1600.00}. XXXX XXXX XXXX then electronically deposited the altered check into his Chase Bank account. He endorsed the back of the check and also printed, for electronic deposit at Chase only on the back of the check. On XX/XX/XXXX the {$1600.00} was withdrawn from my checking account at XXXX XXXX XXXX I filed a police report on XX/XX/XXXX and was assigned a case number. My bankXXXX XXXX XXXX filed an Altered Check Affidavit and Agreement with Chase Bank. This was also done XX/XX/XXXX. I was told by XXXX XXXX personnel that Chase Bank would have 90 days to acknowledge the complaint. It is now several days beyond the 90 day period and Chase Bank has not responded to XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding my affidavit. Per XXXX XXXX, branch manager of XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX Chase has not acknowledged the affidavit, even though the 90 days has passed. Chase Bank is non-compliant. I am including a detailed letter and documentation regarding this complaint.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 I used my Chase debit card to buy {$130.00} worth of clothes from XXXX website. I used the XXXX payment installation plan where I would pay about XXXX $ a month until the amount was paid off. I was excited for my clothes, when I shopped online for them I spent 2 days looking through all the clothes and looking at size guides and reviews of other clients who previously bougth the same product and described their body to be like mine. I followed XXXX size guide. When I received the items and tried them all on I was depressed that there was nothing that fit as described and the outfits alone are not even the same material they describe in the website. So I returned the items ( order for return from XXXX is # XXXX and my USPS tracking number for the clothes I returned is # XXXX ) I have called my bank and they claimed they only can recover up to XXXX $ per year for me in transactions and I aparently exceeded that- never had I heard of this before nor until this year have I used the services of my bank to request my money to be recovered. I reached out to XXXX to have them release the funds to my bank they laughed at me and refused and told me to call XXXX XXXX XXXX has only an email to reach out to and they said they will not help release my fund back to my bank and they also have my items i returned. Now XXXX is trying to send the rest of the money I " owe '' to a debt collection agency when I dont even have the products I SPENT that money on!! I have reached out to XXXX and filed a complaint on XXXX but they are a huge entity and likely not to return the messages. I want my cash refunded back and I also want my credit to be repaired if they did send my debt to a collection agency. I am not sure what else to do at this point I want to take legal action but the amount of costs is so small I am unsure anyone will take me seriously.

On XX/XX/XXXX, me and my family had flight to outside the country before the airplane departing my wife login to our Chase bank account saw the unauthorized wire transfer, resulting in a loss of {$9900.00}. During XXXX, the thief use my phone number and my personal information to open 4 credit card. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Chase had alerted me and said that they thought fraud was taking place on my account for {$150.00}. I agreed that that charge was fraudulent and locked my card. Chase authorized a new card to the account. After my card was locked and they reissued a new card my account they allowed for a total of 27 charges. {$150.00} charge nine times {$63.00} is charged once {$40.00} was charged once {$2.00} is charged eight times {$2.00} charge once I had a meeting with one of the bank specialist to figure out how this happened. They said they're able to access my digital wallet they would return the funds charged by XXXX XXXX. And that it would take two days. However the only reversal that was made was {$2.00}. and then they found that the other charges were not able to be refunded because the scammers had my card information... For Chase to alert me that there is from my account but still don't allow 26 more fraudulent transactions is a failure on their to part to protect my money.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I got an email from Chase, saying that I owed {$35.00}, due XX/XX/2023. I didnt recognize the debt; found it suspicious. I tried to follow the links to find out if I owed and to pay for it, if legitimate. I tried to pay it, because the amount was so small. I knew it was Chase, but I had paid off the cardI had with them, and had not used it since. The links didnt work. So I waited to learn more. Next thing I know ( on XX/XX/2023 ) there was a late payment registered with XXXX, and its by Chase ( XXXX ). It lowered my credit score by 105 points! I called Chase and paid the {$35.00}. The agent could not say what the charge was for. I paid the balance due, asked them to close the account. I thought it was closed. I asked them to consider reversing that report of late payment. They told me to call XXXX. XXXX said there was nothing they could do, but I could file a complaint.
