Consumer Complaint: I am filing this complaint due to an unresolved billing dispute with JPMorgan Chase Bank , N.A . ( " Chase '' ), regarding credit card charges totaling {$6100.00} for services contracted with XXXX XXXX XXXX that were never rendered. The charges were posted to my account on XX/XX/2023, for two separate contracts with the said merchant. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this through Chase 's dispute resolution process, the charges were inappropriately rebilled, and my dispute was denied without proper justification. The timeline of key events is as follows : XX/XX/2023 : Charges for services appeared on my credit card statement. XX/XX/2023 : XXXX XXXX XXXX announced a shutdown of operations. XX/XX/2023 : I reported the dispute to Chase, initiating an investigation. XX/XX/2023 : I submitted all supporting documentation to Chase 's online portal. XX/XX/2023 : Chase rebilled the charges without notifying me or providing a satisfactory explanation. XX/XX/2023 : I sent a follow-up letter to Chase, requesting the removal of the rebilled charges and reiterating my dispute. XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/2023 : Received two letters from Chase indicating the dispute was resolved in the merchant 's favor. XX/XX/2023 : I received a notification from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX about XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX filing under XXXX XXXX Chase 's response claimed that I either received the services or the merchant made them available for my use. However, I have provided ample evidence, including contracts and the merchant 's bankruptcy filing, to demonstrate that the services could not have been provided. Furthermore, the documentation from the merchant 's acquirer used by Chase to validate the charge was inaccurate and incomplete, failing to address all the charges in question and containing duplicated pages. Despite my evidence and the merchant 's confirmed bankruptcy, Chase 's investigation concluded without recognizing these facts, leading to the unjust rebilling of charges for services that can not possibly be delivered. This conclusion appears to be arbitrary and without substantial evidence, thus not in accordance with the Fair Credit Billing Act. I seek intervention to ensure a fair and thorough investigation is conducted and to obtain a refund of the full amount in dispute, as the services paid for will never be rendered due to the merchant 's insolvency.

Consumer Complaint: On the morning of XX/XX/2023 I used my Chase debit card without any problems. A few minutes later i received a notification from my digital wallet that the card was removed from XXXX XXXX. I called Chase and was told the debit card was closed. I was transferred to another department who said the account was restricted and would be closed within 10 days. They told me I could transfer the funds to another institution or go to the branch and withdraw the funds. I logged into the Chase account to get the banking information so I could initiate a transfer to another bank. After I entered the information into the other banks site and tried to log into Chase again my online banking was locked. It gave me only 2 options call to unlock or close the box. When I called I was told there could be nothing going in or coming out of the account and they wont unlock. They said the decision is final. I have small children I need access to the funds. They said I would get a certified check in XXXX days. I cant wait XXXX days. This is horrible and heartless

Consumer Complaint: I was called by " XXXX Fraud Department '' & I was forced to buy gift Cards to " protect my charge cards from unauthorized use by people who compromised my XXXX Account. They told me emphatically that there were unauthorized charges on my XXXX account and that these people had access to everything in my phone, IP address, bank & credit card details, pictures, etc. and they could compromise my bank and credit card accounts. To protect these things and to protect me from criminal activity and possible jail, I needed to follow their instructions exactly. They told me not to tell anyone about this because they were working with the federal government to find and prosecute these people. They stayed on the phone with me and told me what steps to take all day. To buy {$500.00} gift card on Chase Amazon card as many as I could before being denied access, and to also buy as many as I could on my XXXX XXXX card. When I discovered this was a scam I refused further calls from them. I immediately called XXXX XXXX to report threatening me to buy gift cards and they reversed the charges for the 5 gift cards charged to their card. Chase Amazon card refused to reverse my {$500.00} charge even after speaking to 8 people about it, even that I had a police report, who definitely agreed that I was a victim of a financial crime. They stated that I made the face to face purchases and they could not reverse it. These people also forced me to withdraw {$4500.00} from my XXXX XXXX checking account to put into a Bitcoin " government wallet '' to protect most of my checking account money from being compromised. This complaint is about Chase refusing to reverse the {$500.00} chg. XXXX XXXX is investigating this forced {$4500.00} withdrawal to see if it can be reversed as I have a police report.

Consumer Complaint: Chase closed my credit card account today ( ending in XXXX ). They won't say why other than 'unusual activity '. I have no idea what that means. My wife and I use the card for family expenses, definitely nothing illegal. OK fine, they can close our account, but THEY JUST CHARGED ME {$520.00} on XX/XX/XXXX of 2023 and they aren't refunding my annual fee or pro-rating it in any way. What??? Please assist me in getting my annual fee back for a card they won't let me use for reasons they won't disclose
