Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my Chase debit card was fraudulently used to make a purchase from a company called XXXX XXXX I did not order or authorize this purchase. I called Chase Bank that same evening to report it. They canceled my debit card to send me a new one. Then they gave me a temporary credit while they review the claim the following day another charge from the same company for the same amount. I did not have sufficient funds in my account for this purchase because it was not me making the purchase, but Chase Bank authorized both transactions and paid it even though I had no money in there my checking account was overdrawn twice Chase bank gave me a temporary credit for that as well. on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX put a credit in my account of {$59.00} on XX/XX/XXXX chase bank reversed that credit and took it out of my account. They also reversed it and took it out on XXXX XXXX which left me with {$11.00} for food to last for a week I have been calling and working with Chase Bank for over 60 days to get this resolved. They will not give me my {$59.00} back. They said their review client of the claim showed that I had provided information to authorize this purchases I did not. I have had a meeting on the phone regarding this. I have called the claims department several times. They are not going to give me my money back was their final decision. Ive got mixed messages some that were not true from Chase employees. Chase bank said I would need to contact XXXX XXXX and deal with it myself they did give me a phone number which I called several times the number did not the call did not go through as the number was not a good number. This company does not exist. It was a scam. I need help getting my {$59.00} back. I know its not a lot of money but I live on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and its important part of my budget. Consumer Complaint: I have a balance transfer promotion on a Chase Amazon credit card. I receive 0 % interest on the balance transfer. The promotion expires on XXXX XXXX XXXX On XXXX XXXX I paid {$350.00} to Chase as my regular payment. On XXXX XXXX, I paid an addition {$1000.00}, which according to the law, should have been credited toward my promotional balance, since it is within the two billing cycles preceding the expiration of the promotional balance. Instead Chase credited the payment to higher interest purchases, as they usually do, and did not take the {$1000.00} off the promotional balance. I phoned Chase to explain that according to the law, they should have credited the {$1000.00} to my promotional balance. I asked why this did not happen. The customer service rep, transferred me to a supervisor. The supervisor stated that credit card payments in excess of the minimum due, are automatically credited to the higher interest balances. She stated that Chase does not have a way to credit excess payments to a promotional balance. Since there is no way to pay off a promotional balance, this is obviously a way to stick customers with all the piled up interest at the end of the promotion. I want my {$1000.00} credited to my promotional balance as it should have been on XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I deposited an endorsed check into my bank account which per my banks deposit agreement is allowed. They placed a hold for 10 days to verify the check and funds. The check cleared and then the same morning they restricted my account until the endorser could verify that they indeed gave permission for the check to be deposited in my account. Well the only way they are allowing this verification is via phone number that is registered on a public system. They wouldnt inform me of what system this was. The endorser has a phone line in his name so I am unaware as to why they were not able to find it. When I deposited the check I went into a branch located with the endorser, the teller had not informed me of any of this. I asked if I could go into a branch with the endorser and his Identifications to verify his identity and that he gave me permission to deposit this check but they said they can only verify by phone. After speaking with back office on a recorded line I was told if I can not get my check verified my account will be closed and chase will keep my money. Those were the exact words the customer representative said to me on a recorded line. After going to XXXX the endorsers phone company to ask if they could help us out his name on a public system so that the number registered under his name we called again to the back office, and I was again told that they could not verify his phone number with his name and told me that I could recall the check from the original bank. I asked the customer representative why they could not call the company that actually wrote the check to verify the phone number for the endorser or verify through employer, she told me thats not something they can do. Chase bank took 10 days to verify the check and took the fund from the bank. The funds are available in my account I am just unable to access them, because of this the original check writer ( which is a payroll company ) is unable to recall the check because chase bank already cashed the check.

Consumer Complaint: I was notified my mortgage payment is increasing on XX/XX/XXXX. Currently I pay XXXX / month, they notified me it's going up to XXXX / month. This is a XXXX dollar difference per year- they claim my shortage is XXXX. They are billing me more than the shortage. Also my property taxes are capped in WA at 1 % assessed value rates for the year. My rates right now are 0.92 %, but even if that has increased my total max tax payment theoretically in XXXX is lower because my assessed property value has decreased. The max is 1 % of assessed XXXX- which would be XXXX per annum and chase is quoting XXXX. They are projecting my insurance premium goes up by XXXX dollars a month - my premium is constant for the last 3 years. Nothing adds up. They say I can not recalculate this broken analysis before 2 months, which is how long I have to pay the shortage to keep my payment the same. They also claim they notify escrow increase in XXXX on their website. No such early notice was provided.

Consumer Complaint: I was given a check to purchase my computer and software for the company I thought I was going to work XXXX XXXX but it turns out it was a fake job interview and a fake job offer. I was sent a check from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I asked my " hiring manager '' why is the check from a different company name, I was told they are affiliated and they facilitated the check to expedite things since they were in CA and not XXXX where supposedly that is where the main company is located and that they were expanding to the USA. I was informed to deposit the check which I did. I told them I needed to wait a day or two for the funds to be available, the next day XXXX XXXX the hiring manager said she would work on getting the software from XXXX XXXX, she then asked me to transfer {$500.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX since the XXXX : XXXX XXXX didnt work. I finally sent the {$500.00} via XXXX XXXX, then XXXX asked for another {$1000.00} for the computer to be purchased for my job, the bank wouldnt allow me to do XXXX again so she told me to send it through XXXX XXXX : XXXX, XXXX XXXX. I sent a total of XXXX XXXX payments to XXXX XXXX and {$500.00} to XXXX so a total of {$2500.00}. Since the bank would allow me to do another transaction the same day XXXX tried again today at that point the check from XXXX XXXX was returned and I was overdrawn. I tried getting my money back from XXXX and XXXX but they just ignored me at this point.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I deposited a Check at Chase, it was a Security deposit being returned to me. The check was made out to myself, my husband and my uncle as he was our co-signer. We all signed it. I was told the funds would be available XX/XX/XXXX. I went to an ATM on the XXXX and was informed there was a hold on my account because of the check. I have called and talked with Chase representatives 9 times since then. They have verified the issuer of the check, myself and my uncle. However, they say they can not verify my husband even though they did call him and confirmed his identity when I called on the XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX. Now they are saying their system can not verify his phone number and there is no way to confirm his identity except for a phone number their system can verify. They have frozen my account and say they will close it in 10 days and keep the money for 2 years before giving it to the state. I offered for my husband and I to go in person to a Chase bank and verify his identity in person but they said that is not an option. My husband has his own account with Chase and his phone number is connected to that account. I do not understand how they can not verify it and I do not understand how they can only accept a phone number, that they say is valid, and offer no alternative ways to verify him.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I noticed there were 5 fraudulent charges to my credit card : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$6400.00} The only place I went that day was to costco for groceries and gas and went home. In the statement it said the charges were made in person in the same state, but I had my card on me so I assumed they were able to somehow clone a card. I called the bank the night the charges were posted and told them the information they needed and it was retracted while the claim was being processed. They closed that card, and provided me with a new credit card. Just recently the charges are back on my card and the bank is saying I am responsible for the charges because supposedly the people who used it used the chip? Which I told them was not possible at all because I've had my card on me the whole time. And they said people can't make clone cards with the chip but I was trying to tell them if that's the case, and if I had my card with me the whole time, then either someone is wrong about the people using the chip or someone was actually able to clone a card with the chip. They said they would resubmit the dispute but the tone seemed unassuring. I checked the " Dispute Tracker '' in my bank app and there is nothing under " Open Disputes '' and also nothing under " Recently-closed disputes ''. I talked to another person and they suggested I call the places where the charges occurred to get any information that would help my case. I called XXXX first, and the manager told me he found it odd that I was calling because his bank had never called him about any fraud charges and he said that would be the process. I asked him if there was any information that I could get to submit to my bank and he said he legally couldn't give me any information, that my bank would have to contact his bank, then his bank would have to ask for any information that would help the case. The only thing he told me was a man and woman, which he had names for, were the ones that made the purchase and they used a card that had my information on it. That was as much information he could provide me. He asked if I knew those people and I told them I do not. So then I wrote an email to the fraud department of why I was unable to obtain any information for the transaction, and what the manager said needed to be done for him to provide any information. In that email I asked if they had ever reached out to any of the businesses since the manager said he didn't get contacted.
