Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX2020 I received several alerts about a new collection account that was added to my credit report from I.C System from a cable bill/company XXXX. At the time I was not familiar with the debt because I had never received anything in the mail from them. When I called them on XX/XX/XXXX2020 they told me that they did not have to send me anything because XXXX sent me a bill in XXXX. I told them it is my understanding that I should have received something from them via mail or a phone call even. I confirmed my name and contact info and requested that they send me something in the mail. I received my first letter from them on XX/XX/XXXX2020 which was 13 days after it posted to my account and 11 days from the original/first letter that they sent to me ( dated XXXX/XXXX/2020 ). After I received the letter I called on XX/XX/XXXX2020 and spoke to XXXX employer ID XXXX and he told me that they attempted to send letters to me on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX but all of them were cancelled and never mailed out because of COVID. I then asked them how were they not able to mail me any to validate the debt but was able to send me to collections and he said because it was a different department. We that being said, per the FDCPA I didn't ; receive my letter until XX/XX/XXXX2020 which was 13 days after it posted to my credit report. That is a violation

Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: I C System is continuously reporting a debt to my credit report that isn't owed to them. In my previous complaint, I asked them to cease and desist communication as well as delete this debt from my credit reports as I will handle this matter directly with the original creditor. I received a letter from I C System dated XX/XX/2020 stating that they are terminating all collection efforts but they are still reporting this account to my credit reports. The letter also states that XXXX XXXX hospital is both the original and current creditor. Well if that's so then why is it being reported on my credit file by I C System and not by XXXX XXXX XXXX in which I do not owe them either.

Consumer Complaint: This letter is sent in response to collection that was placed on my account and that has inaccurate information. I am requesting that you provide verification of this debt. As I have proves that this account was settled with the previous collection agency and then sold to you and if I believe that is against the law. Please send the following information : The name and address of the original creditor, the account number, and the amount owed. Verification that there is a valid basis for claiming I am required to pay the current amount owed. Details about the age and amount of the debt including a copy of the last billing statement from the original creditor ; a detailed explanation of any interest added or payments made since the last billing statement and the legal authorization for this interest ; the date the original creditor claims this debt became delinquent and a written explanation why it was sold to you from XXXX collection agency. What you provided in the previous dispute was just a bill which doesnt prove anything. Please also note whether this debt is within the statute of limitations and how that was determined. Please also forward details about your authority to collect this debt : whether you are licensed in my state and if so provide the date of the license, name on the license, license number, and the license number, and the name, address and telephone number of the state agency issuing the license. If you are contacting me from outside my state, provide the licensing information from your state as well. By law you are required to provide me with all the information requested if you can not do so you will have to delete this from my credit history. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I filed a dispute through both XXXX and XXXX for the debt collections company IC systems. I have never had any contact with this business or company nor the company they are collecting for which is XXXX. I have never owned an account or done any business with companies. I do not understand why this fraud claim is being reported on my credit report and it needs to be removed immediately for hurting my credit score and being fraud.

Consumer Complaint: I paid a collection company and they haven't deleted it with the credit bureaus. I was led to believe on the phone that when payment was received they would remove it from my credit report with the 3 reporting agencies. I have tried to dispute with the credit bureaus and the company but had no success. Please assist me in getting this removed from my credit report.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I had submitted a complaint against this collections creditor that is reporting on my credit reports. I had sent them a request for full validation and to date, they had not responded to me with the information that I am entitled to receive according to law. The Consumer Finance group just sent a reply to the complaint I made, which was XXXX. They just said this company would respond to the complaint directly by mail since they could not figure out who I was. I don't know what other information they would need. In the complaint, I submitted my information, my date of birth, last 4 of the social, which is way more than they have already. I also provided the registered mail / return receipt from the letter I had sent them to obtain validation of this debt. Their answer is generic and incomplete. The basis of the complaint is that they have not mailed me all of the items required by law. Why is the complaint closed. They not only have not provided any answers on the debt but did not answer the complaint. The reason for the CFPB is to protect the consumer, when a credit or finance company is not following the law. This complaint needs to remain open and this creditor needs to answer the initial complaint, which is XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Unfortunately, I was not aware of the medical debts until I inquired about refinancing my mortgage. I have not been contacted by the physician or a debt collector. My understanding is my insurance took care of the amounts due at the time of service. Another factor that may have played in the miscommunication was a move in 2019. I would like to pay the due amounts to the medical providers and have this debt removed to correct my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: I received my first letter from this company just a few weeks ago. Since then they have called me and made sure to flag my credit report on a weekly basis as a collection account. I have several issues with this collection account. 1. ) It appears that they are not licensed to collect in Iowa. Please see attached. 2. ) Their aggressive tactics. 3. ) I have never signed anything or agreed to do business with this company. 4. ) They show an incorrect/incomplete account number so there is no way to verify that it is mine. 5. ) They show it as a collection account with a balance. My understanding is that collection accounts are not supposed to show a balance. To my knowledge, all of the above issues are violations of the FCRA and I would like them to immediately stop trying to collect from me and to remove their collection account from my credit reports.

Consumer Complaint: I C Systems Inc a debt collection agency has an unknown debt on my credit report. They are not authorized to collect debts in Florida. And I have written multiple 609 letters and debt validation letters asking them to validate this debt to me by showing the proper proof this is my debt or remove it from my credit report. They have failed to provide any documentation and I have no knowledge of this debt. Nor have I given my personal identification to this company or the creditor they are representing. Also this same debt is being reported on my credit reports twice. Please have this debt removed from my credit reports as per consumer law they have not legally validated this debt and are inaccurately reporting to my credit reports.
