Consumer Complaint: I closed my account with XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, and I returned my equipment in XX/XX/XXXX. I had a bill with XXXX XXXX that I did not pay and they gave my debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I paid a balance of {$330.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX, and this balance was paid off in XX/XX/XXXX. Somewhere between XXXX XXXX XXXX sending my paid in full balance to XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX gave my account to I C Systems in the month of XX/XX/XXXX for the balance of {$290.00}. I made several calls, and I sent all the paperwork they requested to the I C System and the same with XXXX XXXX. I have disputed this account several times. They are all refusing to comply and accept that I paid off my debt for my XXXXXXXX XXXX services to XXXX XXXX XXXX. Please help me with this matter. I am cleaning up my credit, and now this is on my credit report under collections.

Consumer Complaint: A 10-year old XXXX XXXX debt was removed from my credit report over a year ago. All of a sudden I get an alert saying it is added back on a year and a half later by IC Systems and the dates of open and close they reported are extremely misleading ( saying opened 2020 ). This would allow them to continue to attempt collections and report the debt for another 7-10years. Ive already disputed the item but this is a Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as Fair Debt Collection Practices. This is highly unethical and lawless. I dont know what the statute of limitations is on things like this but I am considering hiring counsel. I have worked hard to clean my credit up. This could also constitute defamation of character since negative remarks such as this look as though I havent already been cleared of this. Especially when it continuously goes away only to pop back up again over a year later. They state it was open XX/XX/2020 and owed {$1300.00}.

Consumer Complaint: Back in XXXX I found a collections reported to my credit report on behalf of XXXX. The debt was mine and I took the necessary steps to pay in full which included a past due balance as well as returning equipment directly to spectrum in person. This happened in XXXX of 2020. I then called and informed IC Systems that the debt had been paid and I asked what was needed to do to get this removed. They stated that if I mailed copies of my paid receipts they would have it deleted. The paperwork was mailed and I waited at least a month to call to give them ample time. I called to confirm they received it and why it was still showing as a debt. They confirmed they had copies of the receipts but they needed to get confirmation from XXXX themselves from their collections department that it was now being reported as XXXX debt. I called XXXX explained the situation and they flagged my account so that it was pushed through AGAIN to report to IC Systems that it had been paid as they had already done. Another month or so goes by and I call IC Systems because it is again showing on my credit report and they refuse to update their balance in their system even after I sent receipts. The representative then tells me I now have to send copies of my personal bank account info showing the payment went through because I could have reversed the payment. After several calls and almost 9 months later they still refuse to update their records even after both XXXX and I personally have shown them proof. They have yet to help or try to resolve this issue only giving me more hoops to jump through for a {$350.00} debt. This is unacceptable especially when I have receipts including chat conversations with a XXXX representative. Please resolve this.

Consumer Complaint: 4 years ago, XX/XX/XXXX, I terminated my XXXX account. They had told me as long as I return the phone, it will terminate my contract with no fees. I went into the XXXX store and returned my phone. I asked the representative if I owed anything at all, several times, to which they said no and provided me a receipt saying that I owed {$0.00} to XXXX. I thought I was all clear. 1 year later, XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a loan on a car and XXXX showed up on my credit report saying I owed {$680.00}. At the time, I luckily still had the receipt. I went into the store and provided the receipt. The representative said that they would take care of it, I did not owe anything to XXXX and they would send a letter to IC Systems saying that I did not owe anything. Again, I thought I was clear. 3 years later, XX/XX/XXXX, I am applying to buy a house and again XXXX shows up on my credit report with the same charge of {$680.00}. I immediately call XXXX, I speak with a supervisor named XXXX. XXXX says that I do not owe anything to XXXX and it is just though the debt collector IC Systems. He said that he sent a note to IC Systems that I am clear of all balances to XXXX and do not owe anything and I could call IC Systems right away. I got part of this conversation with XXXX recorded because when I asked for a receipt of this, he refused. Upon calling IC Systems, I find nothing was sent to them clearing my balance and I ask for a receipt and they also refuse on their end. I try to call XXXX back and can not get a hold of XXXX and get hung up on not once but several times. Finally I manage to get a hold of a supervisor, who was absolutely rude and says that the balance above is from terminating my contract early ( first time hearing this 4 years later ). I looked it up online and it says that for XXXX in some cases there is a early termination fee, of $ XXXXmonth with a max of {$350.00} and {$100.00} for the phone making the {$680.00} not possible. Upon asking, they have never been able to fully explain the charges just the overall number. However, I was told for the past 4 years that I did not owe anything and had {$0.00} balance anytime I spoke with a representative. Nobody has even tried to contact me for the balance in the last 4 years, I only found out through my credit reports. Please resolve this as XXXX and IC Systems has ruined my credit for a reason I am not responsible for and for the past 4 years.

The Dr office said they was not going to send any other information to the insurance company. They sent me a copy of my records and told me I could send it. The insurance company does not accept information on the claim from the patient. I should not have to pay this bill since I had insurance and the Dr office failed to provide the requested information to process the claim.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I noticed a derogatory account listed on my credit report, which had negatively impacted my credit rating. I discovered this was from a company called IC Systems. Upon calling ICS I was informed I had an outstanding debt of {$120.00} from XXXX dating from XX/XX/XXXX. They said it related to my not returning broadband equipment, which I had. I asked repeatedly for them to provide evidence of this debt which they have not. I explained that I had been a XXXX customer from XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX and therefore it was illogical that I would have debt with them during that period when my account was in good standing. They argued that as they were separate accounts ( one closed in XXXX and a new on started the same month due to moving home ) that it wouldnt show. It was confusing as I have never had any issue with my XXXX billing. The representative on the call said that IC had written to me a few times in the past few months ( coincidentally since I closed my XXXX account in XX/XX/XXXX ). I explained that I have been out of the US ( in the XXXX ) as a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic so hadnt seen the mail but asked to be communicated with via e-mail instead. He refused to have them e-mail me. On my opinion, in this day and age, there is no good reason not to write by e-mail. There is no more or less chance of risk than with a call or physical letter. It is a tactic on their part to draw me deeper in to problems. As a side note I believe the name IC Systems to be deliberately misleading too. It does not address the nature if their business and could be easily overlooked as junk mail or spam. In any case, the representative then asked if I would like to provide further details? I said no as the taped message at the start of the call said any information I provide could be used to pursue me and I dont want to be harassed. The agent said that isnt the case and they wouldnt use it for that. This is early contradictory and also doesnt reconcile with his earlier refusal to write to me via e-mail or to call my XXXX number. He then asked if I would like have to case reviewed, meaning it would be put on hold for a few weeks while it was assessed and no further action would be taken in the meantime. I agreed and asked for the evidence of debt to be sent during that process. Two days later they filed another derogatory account notice to my credit report. This company has now severely impacted my credit rating at a tome when people are struggling hugely. They still havent provided me with evidence nor reached out via phone or e-mail. I believe they have acted in bad faith throughout. They have caused me stress and affected my future ability to access credit. Their weekly credit updates are designed to weaken and pressurise the individual.
