As a federally protected natural consumer, original creditor and principal on all accounts, I feel like this is an attempt to extort and rob me, personally, my family and my household. Consumer Complaint: The company ( XXXX ) that referred the debt to collection performed the service after I had cancelled, and I do not owe this debt. I had to contact XXXX multiple times when they continued to bill me and it took several calls before they closed my account. They continued to bill me after the account was closed. On the final call I was told by XXXX that I would not be responsible for the debt. I disputed the debt verbally with the collection agency. I did not receive any documentation within the 30 day timeframe yet they are continuing to attempt to collect the debt.

System INCXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX regrading a claim that I owed a debt for a XXXX XXXX account XXXX The letter clearly states that " how can you dispute the dispute the debt? '' call or write! so I called before XX/XX/22 a spoke with a rep ( did not get her name ). I gave her all my information and was told there was a {$650.00} debt from some address in XXXX I told I never leaved or been to XXXX I have never even had XXXX I have no knowledge of this debt and I want to dispute it in its entirety. she said okay. Today they have attacked my credit by reporting it to collection trying to cause financial harm, XXXXXXXX stress, and false character XXXX. This is not my debt there is nothing that links me to this account and on the letter they sent me my name is even spelled wrong and name I've used. I spoke with them today and was very upset, because this is a waste of time, money and resources. I will look into legal action because this is not right, but I want to place them on notice with some kind government regulatory to help stop them from doing this to other.
