SYSTEM, INC IS ILLEGALLY ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT DEBT WITHOUT A LICENSE TO COLLECT IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA ON ACCOUNT : ( ORIGINAL CREDITOR XXXX XXXXXXXX ) I am writing to formally request that your company cease and desist all debt collection activities related to the debt identified [ XXXX ACCOUNT XXXX ] XXXX It has come to my attention that your agency is not licensed to collect debts in the state of Georgia, as required by state law. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and Georgia state law, debt collection agencies must be licensed and compliant with all regulations in the state where they are conducting collection activities. Consumer Complaint: IC system has placed a collection back on my consumer report from XXXX that was removed two years ago due to identity theft. They are trying to collect on a debt that is not mine and that was removed from my consumer reports before. Not only did they not notify me that they were placing it on my reports but they did it. This dropped my credit score from a XXXX to low XXXX damaging my reputation. I do not have a contract with these people. Remove me from your data base and trying to collect on debt that is not mine.

Systems XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : XXXX RE : Dispute of Debt and Request for Validation Dear Sir or Madam, This letter serves as a formal dispute of any and all debts I allegedly owe to I.C. Systems. I am writing to request validation of the debt, in accordance with my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). 1. Debt Dispute and Validation Request : Pursuant to 12 CFR 1006.34 ( b ) ( 5 ) and 15 USC 1681-s-2 ( 7 ) ( a ), I demand complete and accurate validation of the alleged debt you claim I owe. Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the way XXXX has handled a billing issue, resulting in wrongful charges and a significant negative impact on my credit report. I have been a loyal XXXX customer for several years, and it is disheartening to find myself in this predicament. Approximately four years ago, I returned two hotspot devices to XXXX upon terminating my service. At that time, I had contacted your customer service, and after an initial charge for the devices, the charges were removed. Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that three years later, after I had already terminated my service, XXXX claimed that I still owe for one of the devices. Despite repeated requests and my persistence in informing XXXX that I had indeed turned in both devices, your company proceeded with a cursory search and claimed to have found only one of the devices. This is in stark contrast to the thorough search conducted when XXXX initially claimed that I had not turned in any devices. It is evident that there has been a significant oversight or mistake on your part, which has now escalated to the point of selling the alleged debt to a debt collector. The repercussions of this erroneous charge and subsequent impact on my credit report can not be understated. As an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, maintaining a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The sudden and dramatic decline in my creditworthiness due to XXXX 's error now threatens my ability to retain this clearance, thus jeopardizing my career. Moreover, the adverse effect on my credit has forced me to acquire new accounts with high-interest rates, causing financial strain and unnecessary expenses. I demand an immediate and thorough investigation into this matter. It is imperative that XXXX rectifies this situation promptly by removing the incorrect debt from my credit report and taking appropriate steps to compensate for the damages caused. I expect clear communication regarding the progress and resolution of this issue. I would appreciate a written response within 30 days of receiving this letter, outlining the steps taken to address and rectify this matter. Consumer Complaint: According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 USC 1681 section 602 ( a ), " There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumer 's right to privacy. '' XXXX and XXXX are consumer reporting agencies, and I am the CONSUMER. I have the right to make sure my private information isn't shared, which 15 USC 6801 backs that, and it states, " It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers ' nonpublic personal information. '' I C SYSTEM and ATT U VERSE is a financial institutions by definition under that title. 15 USC 1681, Section 604a, Section 2, states that " In general, subject to Subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. '' I C SYSTEM and ATT U VERSE the financial institutions, and consumer reporting agencies XXXX and XXXX do not have my written consent. Any and all consents to XXXX, XXXX, I C SYSTEM and ATT U VERSE whether verbal, non-verbal, written, implied, or otherwise, are revoked. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) states that " A financial institution may not disclose non-public personal information to a non-affiliated third party unless the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option., I C SYSTEM and ATT U VERSE never informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. Not only that 15 USC 1681 C ( a ) ( 5 ) states, " Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information, any adverse items of information, other than records of convictions of crimes that antedate the report by more than seven years. '' This account is an adverse item ; they are reporting again without my permission, which is against the law. 15 U.S Code 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A states " A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. 15 U.S. Code 1681e states, " Every consumer reporting agency shall maintain reasonable procedures designed to avoid violations of Section 1681c of this title and to limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes listed under Section 1681b of this title. '' XXXX, XXXX and XXXX are not maintaining responsible procedures. Also 12 CFR 1016.7 states that " a consumer may exercise the right to opt out anytime. '' I am opting out of your reporting services. ''
