Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Deposits and withdrawals
Consumer Complaint: The complaint is for XXXX XXXX XXXX by Goldman Sachs. I initiated a withdrawal in the amount of XXXX dollar on XX/XX/XXXX. However, the withdrawal was reversed without a reason or a notification, even after confirming with multiple agents on the phone verifying my account information and ensuring the account I was transferring to indeed belongs to me. This incidence made me uneasy with XXXX. Thus, I initiated an account closure over the phone on XX/XX/XXXX and requested that the full amount of over XXXX dollar to be transferred to my XXXX XXXX XXXX Account. The agent stated that the XXXX of the full amount and subsequent account closure will be processed within XXXX business days. On XX/XX/XXXX, which is the fourth business day, there was still no update. So I called XXXX and the agent assured me that it should be processed by the end of the day and I should receive a confirmation email once the request is fully processed. But there was no confirmation email by the end of the day. Given that it was XXXX XXXX holiday, I waited until XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted XXXX again regarding the status of the XXXX and account closure, but I was informed that the transfer and account closure was cancelled by my request, which is not true. The agent also instructed me to initiate an account closure on their webpage. So I initiated the account closure online as instructed on XX/XX/XXXX. There was no confirmation via email, so I called XXXX to ensure that the account closure is indeed submitted. The agent over the phone confirmed that the account is closed and stated that I should receive the withdrawal in XXXX business days. The back and forth with XXXX on this issue is extremely exhausting and more importantly, with the delay, I am now likely unable to pay for my bills on time and I have to take other means to resolve the financial issues.

Subissue: Problem with rewards from credit card
Consumer Complaint: Please, see details and exhibits on the my own site XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX This is report : I have been a loyal GM Mastercard user for ~20 years. During this period, several banks was card providers, and currently this is Marcus from Goldman Sachs. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a promo-offer from Marcus - spend {$200.00} on restaurants and other activities during XXXX and receive a {$50.00} reward, see screenshot of the offer. Believing the promises, I took advantage of the offer and made several purchases at restaurants in the amount of {$200.00} during XX/XX/XXXX. Look at the transaction history screenshot from Marcus. You see several restaurant purchases, and ( oh surprise ) - the last purchase for {$50.00} is marked as made on XX/XX/XXXX! Although the scan of the cash receipt from XXXX clearly shows that the purchase was made on XX/XX/XXXX. Thus, we see that Marcus decided to cheat and avoid paying {$50.00} by falsifying the date of the last transaction, changing it from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, and thereby avoiding payment. I contacted the support chat, but the GS representative XXXX refused to adjust the date of the transaction, or credit the account for {$50.00} to compensate for the lost money, see the copy of the chat. Thus, there is an attempt by GS to evade fulfillment of the promise, as well as a refusal to correct the " error '' in the process of direct negotiations. I am contacting you with the purpose of : Make GS admit its " error '', and still credit the promised {$50.00}, the conditions for receiving which were fulfilled by me. Due to the fact that GS has shown itself to be an unscrupulous financial institution with whom it is dangerous to do business, I want to terminate relations with it. Therefore, I ask you to force GS to pay me the accumulated rewards, ( as of XX/XX/XXXX - {$2600.00} ), by sending a check to my address, then I am planning to close the card, and stop relationship with GS.

Consumer Complaint: A scheduled auto payment email came out today XXXX at about XXXX XXXX Arizona Time about my payment being drafted and scheduled. 1 ) in the last anytime a payment is made with Apple Card/Goldman Sachs prior to auto pay drafting the auto pay is disabled when minimum due is met. Every other month this happened and this month it didnt 2 ) their customer service tells me to contact my bank to stop payment. This will result in a returned payment and negative history with the bank. I was told this exact statement before and now when I request credit line increases I am rejected. ( Rejected for a practice they told me to follow ) The payment will most likely return by the time the case escalates however it is unfair that their processes are misleading and not followed the same each time. They also should not be advising customers to contact bank to return a payment when the return negatively impacts their ability to obtain credit with said bank

Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: This is regarding my credit card issued by Goldman Sachs for Apple. I have an installment plan for an XXXX I purchased to be paid over 12 months. So far XXXX is paid and remaining balance is XXXX. On top of installment balance, I will be making purchases and am making statement balance payments either fully or keep some balance for next month depending on the situation, in which chase I pay some interest. Last month I received a refund of XXXX from a vendor, which resulted in a positive balance of XXXX after covering my purchases thus far other than installment balance. Goldman Sachs refuses to give me that money as refund. When I called, the answer I got was that since I got some balance ( installment balance of XXXX ), they are saying they don't want to refund my money. They will keep it and pay towards future purchases. Please help me get my refund, as Apple is not trying to resolve this issue.
