Consumer Complaint: After being released from XXXX in XXXX I obtained a copy of my credit reported and noticed someone has been accessing accounts in my name. My personal information was compromised including my driver 's license and social security card during my XXXX due to my prior living arrangement. I contacted Experian, XXXX, and XXXX via phone and mail in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX in attempt to get this issue resolved. I have not received a response. These accounts and credit inquiries are impacting my credit and preventing me from getting a home. Furnishing this information to my account is in violation of 15 USC 1681B and 15 USC 1681 C-2, not only have I not given any permission or any written consent to furnish this information. Furthermore, no accounts or inquiries should be furnished to my credit profile due to identity theft. These accounts that I am referencing are, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have no affiliation or knowledge of these accounts. I also noticed inquiries that I have not authorized such as XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX failed to provide sufficient notice of balance on inactive credit account. This resulted in an unforeseen late report which could've been resolved. I paid the balance and closed the accounts immediately but was unfortunately only notified by a 3rd party credit score monitoring service. I have disputed this report with the bank as well as state and federal agencies. My concern remains that communication to customers from the XXXX XXXX prior to taking credit-impacting action is insufficient. I was only provided a single mailed letter. Being out of town at the time, this was not received for weeks. The XXXX XXXX has an account messaging system that was not used to provide notice. My contact information including accurate email and phone number was not used to provide notice. Engagement to the customer was minimal to the point of negligence. Removal of " late '' status from reporting and my credit history is requested.

Consumer Complaint: They are in Violation of furnishing my consumer reports to person/s that do not have any permissible purpose or any legitimate business reason to receive those reports which is a clear violation of my right to privacy. Without a permissible purpose as per 15 USC 1681b ( 2 ) or knowingly without a legitimate business reason pursuant [ 15 U.S.C 1681b ( a ) 3 ( f ) ( i ) ]. The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), [ 15 U.S.C 1681b ( a ) 3 ( f ) ( i )., for unlawfully furnishing my EXPERIAN consumer report on XX/XX/2023 without my authorization or a permissible purpose under the 15 USC 1681b ( 2 ) Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and its guidelines for permissible purpose. A person shall not use or obtain a consumer report for any purpose unless ; 1. The consumer report is obtained for a purpose for which the consumer report is authorized to be furnished under this section. 2. The purpose is certified in accordance with section 1681b ( f ). Chester v. Purvis, 260 F. Supp 2d 711 ( S.D. Ind. 2003 ).
