Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly
Consumer Complaint: I have reviewed Account Number XXXX, managed by XXXX XXXX on my Consumer Report with Experian. My findings have determined that there are definitive violations of federal laws, specifically under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). These violations are as follows : 1. **Inaccurate Date of Account Opening ( Definite Violation of FCRA 1681s-2 ( a ) ) : ** The account opening date is listed as XX/XX/XXXX. This is factually incorrect, violating FCRA 1681s-2 ( a ), which requires furnishers of information to report accurate data. Inaccurate opening dates directly affect credit scoring and the duration of the account 's appearance on the credit report. 2. **Missing Original Balance ( Clear Violation of FCRA 1681s-2 ( a ) ) : ** The report fails to display the 'Original balance '. This omission contravenes FCRA 1681s-2 ( a ), which mandates the reporting of complete and accurate information. The absence of such crucial data misrepresents the debt 's nature and extent. 3. **Unlawful Debt Re-aging ( Violation of FCRA 1681c ) : ** The 'Date opened ' and the record until XX/XX/XXXX suggest an illegal re-aging of the debt. This practice, which alters the date to make the debt appear newer, breaches FCRA 1681c that governs the permissible reporting periods for negative information. 4. **Misleading Payment History ( Violation of FCRA 1681e ( b ) ) : ** The payment history, marked inconsistently with 'C ' ( Collection ) and 'ND ' ( No Data ), is misleading. This violates FCRA 1681e ( b ), requiring credit reporting agencies to maintain accurate and clear information. Such irregularities in reporting can lead to misinterpretation of the account status. These factual violations not only infringe on the FCRA 's guidelines for accurate and fair reporting but also misrepresent the consumer 's financial standing. The consumer is entitled to dispute these inaccuracies, demanding an immediate investigation and rectification, including the correction or removal of any incorrect information. Persisting inaccuracies, despite these disputes, could lead to legal repercussions against the responsible reporting entities.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: Called company daily beginning XX/XX/2023 through XX/XX/2023 and formally requested, in accordance with the Texas Freedom of Information Act, that copies of all information and data regarding my vehicle loan be sent to my current address. This was to include their reason for their decision to restrict my online access since XX/XX/2023. They have refused to do so. Also request copies verifying all payments made, interest paid, principal owed, and the documentation verifying the current status of the account. Subsequent request were made again in XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX refuses to comply with my request. The last request for this documentation was made in mid XXXX. The current account status on my Experian Credit report shows the account is CLOSED and that it has been CHARGED OFF and WRITTEN OFF. It also shows the payment status as Late for XXXX among other months. However when I call to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX they state the account is CURRENT and OPEN. I have ask them to CORRECT the errors on my credit report and filed several disputes with each of Credit reporting agencies ( Experian, XXXX, and XXXX ) however my disputes are denied saying the investigation finds the information valid and accurate ( paraphrasing ). 1. Please allow me online access again since it has been 180 days since my request was made and it still remains ignored. 2. correct the credit report ( all 3 ) to reflect as OPEN and as current and due to the fact the payment history is filed with inaccuracies and due to the fact XXXX XXXX refuses to provide me with updates regarding my balance, confirmation of payments, etc I ask that the Credit report shall reflect no late payments or delinquencies. I request this due to the illegal, and egregious and retaliatory manner in which XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has administered my loan.
