Consumer Complaint: I am reaching out to formally request the removal of specific information from my file. The details of the items requiring deletion are outlined in the accompanying report. Regrettably, I have become a victim of identity theft, and the charge in question was not made by me. In light of this, I kindly request that the aforementioned items be expeditiously deleted to rectify inaccuracies in my credit report. To address the identity theft incident, I promptly reported the matter to the Federal Trade Commission. Enclosed with this letter are copies of the Federal Trade Commissions Identity Theft Affidavit, providing further documentation of the situation. I urge you to take swift action in removing the contested items from my records. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, and I anticipate a timely resolution.

Issue: Problem with fraud alerts or security freezes

Consumer Complaint: I wanted to apply for a new credit card but I have my credit frozen at all three credit bureaus. I easily unfroze my credit with XXXX. I tried to call to unfreeze at Experian during regular business hours. I got a robot that asked for my XXXX XXXX then my zip code, then the numeric portion of street address. Then my only option was to either freeze my credit or get a copy of my credit report. I tried to talk to a person but the robot said I'm sorry there is no available at this time. I tried to login on the website but it said my username or password was incorrect. I clicked on the " forgot my user name '' and entered my birth date and SS XXXX. It said they didn't match - I was very careful with my typing! I tried all of this multiple times then went back to the website to file something online. I was able to somehow get to my account by entering an answer to a personal question and entering my PIN and while there I verified my info but it did not show my SS # so I couldn't verify that they had my SS # correct. I signed out and tried to sign in again and all of the above happened again. It is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a real person. I am locked out. HELP When I try to login it says my user name is already in use. I have XXXX every possible phone number but its always the same robot that can not help me. I feel like a prisoner.

Consumer Complaint: Company has refused to comply with federal law and consumer laws violating my rights as a consumer. The company has violated my privacy rights under The Privacy Act of 1974. No agency shall disclose any record which is contained in a system of records by any means of communication to any person, or to another agency, except pursuant to a written request by, or with the prior written consent of, the individual to whom the record pertains [ subject to 12 exceptions ]. 5 U.S.C. 552a ( b ). Congress advises any of my private information is not for public. The reporting agency is a non governmental entity, meaning Eye must give you consent to report the account to my consumer report. According to 15 U.S. code 6801, It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers nonpublic personal information,15 U. S. code 6802 follows by adding that, a financial institution may not, directly or through any affiliate, disclose to a nonaffiliated third party any nonpublic personal information, unless such financial institution provides or has provided to the consumer a notice. XXXX XXXX XXXX is a nonaffiliated third-party, therefore they do not have permission to report to my consumer report. There is no contractual agreement of obligation to this debt collection agency for any amount. 15 U.S. code 6802 ( 1 ) also follows to insure the security and confidentiality of customer records and information. XXXX XXXX XXXX was provided information illegally from XXXX XXXX, which according to XXXX and their privacy policy advises XXXX XXXX will not disclose my information to third parties and other inquirers without my consent. I have never given XXXX XXXX XXXX to disclose my information with XXXX XXXX XXXX ( a third-party ). According to XXXX, A third party is a person or entity that has no contractual relationship with XXXX XXXX to perform services or act on behalf of XXXX. According to, 15 U.S. code 6802b, there must be 3 disclosures first before any of my information can be exchanged regarding an account and Eye must first agree to having the information of the reported account disclosed to the public. Eye have not agreed to having this account disclosed. Therefore XXXX XXXX XXXX must be removed from my Consumer report and XXXX, XXXX and Experian a non-affiliated, ( Third party ) of XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX must delete the collection account from my consumer report. The collection account with, XXXX XXXX XXXX has been disputed on both, XX/XX/XXXX through a CFPB complaint, # XXXX XXXX through XXXX. All reporting agencies XXXX, XXXX and Experian has continued in their efforts to disregard my consumer rights, violating federal law and privacy rights under The privacy Act of 1974. It is imperative that this matter is resolved immediately and the Collection account is removed.

Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The List of accounts below has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. But how is that possible if the open date, date of last activity and much more is incorrect.
