Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute for incorrect information on my credit report. I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.

Consumer Complaint: Hello and XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have reached out to the credit bureaus several times at this point to dispute several collections that do not belong to me. Each time it comes back as verified. I sent a certified letter requesting them to validate/ verify the debt and I also asked them to provide the method in which they verified the debt. Additionally, I asked for any and all signed contracts and or any valid documentation that proves I owe the debt which is their fiduciary duty. The credit bureau 's however did not send me ANY of the requested information and just instead sent me an itemized letter once again stating the debts had been verified. They however, did not provide method of verification as I requested nor did they provide even a single piece of documentation proving I owe any debt to any creditor. This is unlawful violation. 15 U.S.C 1681G. Please see the attached dispute letter that was sent to the credit bureau 's and their response.
