Consumer Complaint: I assert my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and wish to address concerns regarding the reporting of my information by XXXX, Experian, and XXXX. According to 15 USC 1681 section 604, consumer reporting agencies are allowed to furnish a consumer report only with the written instructions of the consumer. I want to make it clear that I have not provided written consent for the furnishing of my information to credit agencies, and any consent, whether verbal, non-verbal, written, implied, or otherwise, is hereby revoked. Moreover, as per 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ), a person should not furnish any information to a consumer reporting agency if they know or have reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. I believe that the reporting agencies may be in violation of this requirement. Additionally, financial institutions, as outlined in 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ), are obligated to disclose to consumers their right to exercise a nondisclosure option. I was not informed of this right, which raises concerns about compliance with the law. I am also opting out of the reporting services, as permitted by 12 CFR 1016.7. It is important that my concerns regarding the accuracy and disclosure of my information are addressed promptly and appropriately.
