Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to formally dispute and request the correction of inaccurate information on my credit report. After careful review, I have identified discrepancies in the reporting of the following accounts : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX DATE OPENED : XX/XX/XXXX BALANCE : {$0.00}, XXXX XXXX XXXX DATE OPENED : XXXX XXXX, XXXX BALANCE : {$1100.00}, XXXX XXXX XXXX DATE OPENED : XX/XX/XXXX BALANCE : {$430.00}, and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX DATE OPENED : XX/XX/XXXX BALANCE : {$0.00}. The aforementioned accounts are currently reported with late payment dates and negative status, which is inaccurate. I have contacted the respective creditors, and they have acknowledged that the late payment dates and negative status were the result of an internal error on their part. Consequently, they have agreed to rectify these inaccuracies and remove the negative information associated with these accounts. I withhold my consent for electronic communication and explicitly request that all responses be conveyed in written form through the United States Postal Service ( USPS ).

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting a balance of {$210.00} on my credit report. In XX/XX/2023, XXXX, a collection email sent a dunning letter, on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. in the letter, XXXX letter stated that as of XX/XX/2023 i owed XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The letter also stated that i paid or were credited XXXX leaving a balance of XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX is still reporting a balance of XXXX on my credit report after the letter from XXXX shows XXXX for the same accounthave reached out to both companies and neither will correct the issue. i have attached both documents as proof as well as my credit reports. Additionally XXXX XXXX is a collection company which means that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sold the account to a third party which will make it a violation to continue to report a balance on an account that has been sold. Furthermore, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX reporting the account as a open account when it is reporting as as collection./chargeoff which means its closed by default. These inconsistencies prove that no reasonable or proper investigation has occurred. I have been disputing these accounts for a year. FCRA section 616 for civil liability for willful non compliance, ( 15 U.S.C section 1681nh states that any person who fails to willfully comply with any requirement imposed under this title with respect to any consumer is liable to that consumer in an amount equal to the sum of A- any actual damage sustained by the consumer as a result of the failure or damage of not less than {$100.00} and not more than {$1000.00}. i have suffered damages to my credit profile which has impacted my financial wellbeing. I would like to be compensated by these bureaus in the sum of more than {$100.00} and not more than {$1000.00} for their negligence in causing these violations and damages to my credit report According to FCRA 623a ( 1 ) ( A ), a person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX continues to report the balance of 212 and an open account status for an account that is a chargeoff/collection B ) reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors- a person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any credit reporting agency if ( 1 ) the person has been notified by the consumer at the address specified by the person for such notices that specific information is inaccurate and the information is infact accurate. Here, for the i have dipsuted for a year with all three credit buraus constantly pointing out the inconsistencies that are being report. Each time, the bureaus confirms that XXXX has verfied the account as accurately, however, all of these consistencies and inaccuracies remain. Furthermore, outside of XXXX, XXXX and Experian reporting the chargeoff as a open account, XXXX is reporting the date of last activity as XX/XX/2023 XXXX is reporting XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX is reporting XX/XX/. XXXX and XXXX fails to report the date of last payment while XXXX is reporting the date of last payment as XX/XX/XXXX when this account was paid in XXXX, therefore it is evident that XXXX did not conduct a reasonable investigation as the date of last activity should reflect the last date a payment was made This account was disputed with XXXX, XXXX and experian, and all companies fail to mark the account as disputed as outlined in the 15 U.S.C section 1681

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my credit report and the multiple, unsuccessful attempts to correct inaccurate information related to removal of the charge-offs accounts. It has come to my attention that despite repeated efforts, these issues persist on my credit report, adversely affecting my creditworthiness and financial standing. However, these removal have not been reflected, and the incorrect information remains, impacting my credit score negatively. I have noticed inaccuracies regarding charge-offs on my credit report. Despite providing documentation to support the resolution of these accounts, the charge-off status persists, and I have observed no improvement in the reporting. Furthermore, attempts to rectify inaccuracies regarding these accounts have been unsuccessful. The persistence of this misinformation is not only frustrating but also detrimental to my financial standing. I kindly request a thorough and immediate investigation into these matters. Additionally, I expect timely updates on the progress of the investigation, including any actions taken to correct the inaccuracies on my credit report. To aid in your investigation, I have attached supporting documentation. I am asking for your assistance to remove the charge off accounts in my credit file : XXXX XXXX Balance : {$250.00} - I requested an investigation and the removal of the charge-off status. No changes were made. No investigation was conducted at all. You had optimal time to review this matter and make the appropriate corrections, you elected not to. Please remove this item immediately. XXXX XXXX Balance : {$0.00} - The limit to this account was a fraction of the amount due it as stated. That is utterly unfathomable! Had a proper investigation been conducted you would have seen the error and corrected it immediately. You failed to do your job ; you must now REMOVE THIS ITEM ALTOGETHER.
