Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: I been advised to give EXPERIAN XXXX last chance to cure. I'm a FEDERAL PROTECTED consumer and federal laws have been broken. We have been dealing with this since XXXX. I been patient through this process and I been given the run around. So I want to be clear I do not want we still working on this. I do not want a simple its been verified, or this is a duplicate. I have to ask over and over because the items have not been presented. I do not want payments XXXX stolen from someone! To be clear I have not been given the wet signature contract between ME and XXXX stating I will pay alleged debt, or me given written instruction to furnish ANYTHING on my consumer report. I will have the CFPB send this to the FTC! Also on top of the items above I asked for. I also asked for the license to collect a debt in Florida, the license number and the date. Also the name on the license. The following federal laws have been broken. FCRA 609 and 605 as well as 623. Also 15 USC 1681a ( 2 ) ( I ) and 15 USC 6802. Also EXPERIAN have late payments, which VIOLATES my federal protected rights 15 USC 1681a2ai. Also 15 USC 1692g. So to be clear XXXX AND EXPERIAN have not presented me said items, but yet continues to furnish said negative item on my consumer report. I DEMAND IMMEDIATE PERMANENT DELETION!!! IF NOT CFPB WILL HELP WITH LITIGATION AND REPORTING THIS TO THE FTC!!! XXXX- # XXXX Opened- XX/XX/2020 Chargoff account

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX via certified mail tracking # ( XXXX ), I sent Experian a letter disputing unauthorized accounts and info on my file, XXXX XXXX Employees Credit Union ( Account No. XXXX ) as well as requesting documentation of my consent under FCRA Section 609. Experian did not fulfill these obligations. In addition, on XX/XX/XXXX I filed an identity theft report and claim with Experian per FCRA Section 605B. As you know, the FCRA requires bureaus to complete identity theft investigations and remove any fraudulent items from files within 5 business days of receiving a report under Section 605B ( a ) ( 1 ) and Section 605B ( d ). It has now been over 30 days since filing, yet Experian has failed to remedy the ID theft as federal law mandates under 15 U.S.C. 1681c-1. I believe they are in willful noncompliance with these consumer protection statutes. I urge the CFPB to investigate and compel Experian 's full correction of these matters, including immediate deletion of unauthorized personal details as prescribed by law. Justice demands no further violation of consumer rights and prompt resolution of ID theft damages. Thank you for enforcing consumers ' rights to privacy, consent and prompt fraud resolution. I stand available to provide support for your inquiry. Regards, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: EXPERIAN is violating my consumer rights by not furnishing my consumer report in accordance with my written instructions. My rights under 15 U.S. Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports ( a ) ( 2 ) supports my written instructions for EXPERIAN to remove any accounts from my report, at my demand, as a requirement by law, to fulfill their lawful obligation, as it pertains to furnishing my report in accordance with my written instructions. Ive requested several times that they promptly remove accounts from my consumer credit report and update my report to no longer show any history of these accounts. After numerous attempts ( several hours ) to let them know that they were in violation of my rights and not fulfilling their lawful obligations, employees one after another, including supervisors, told me they were not going to remove the accounts from my report and they would continue to furnish my report against my written instructions which is a direct violation of 15 U.S. Code 1681b, Permissible purposes of consumer reports- ( a ) ( 2 ) and proceeded to hang up on me. THIS IS NOT A DISPUTE. THESE ARE WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS. They have only sent mere statements saying things about a dispute and other nonsense that has not resulted in the removal of the accounts per my written instructions, which does not constitute fulfillment of my written instructions, which under law they must oblige. I DEMAND that they remove the following accounts immediately from my report and fulfill their lawful obligations : Account # XXXX Account Name : XXXX XXXX XXXX Account Number : XXXX Account Type : Debt Buyer Responsibility : Individual Date Opened : XX/XX/XXXX Status : Collection account. {$460.00} past due as of XX/XX/XXXX.
