They are still reporting the item on my credit despite my many attempts to find out why they are there in the first place! They are not allowed to report a disputed debt. Consumer Complaint: I sent a validation letter to Enhanced Recovery Company ( ERC XXXX on XX/XX/2020 and mailed it certified. I tracked the letter and noticed ERC received it on XX/XX/2020. This letter was in reference to a XXXX debt totaling {$1700.00} I finally received a response in XXXX, however, I noticed the correspondence was postmarked on XX/XX/2020. It is my understanding that based on the Fair Credit Reporting Act, companies have 30 days to validate debts. Again, I did not receive a response or validation within 30 days.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing. I appreciate your effort in getting this matter resolved. Thank you. Please let me know if you need any other information from me to block this information from my credit report. Thank you.

Upon further research, this account was transferred /sold and I am no longer responsible for it. Debtors creditors did not verify this collection. Also there was no written form of communication, contract or signature for this account debt at all. A bill without signature does not validate the debt and anybody can send a bill and say it is mine. According to the FCRA ENHANCED RECOVERY COMPANY has violated my rights as a consumer and I requesting legal action to remove this account immediately.
