Consumer Complaint: I sent certified mail to all 3 bureaus on XX/XX/2023 and again on XX/XX/2023 when they stated they verified all information, but never sent any type of proof. I asked them all to investigate these companies listed below according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), I stated they are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any accounts that you post on a credit report. Otherwise, anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail, or email in a fraudulent account. I demanded to see verifiable proof ( i.e. : an original consumer contract with my signature on it ) that they have on file for the account listed below. I haven't received anything, but them stating they verified these accounts. Their failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit. Under the FCRA, unverifiable accounts must be removed and if they are unable to provide me with a copy of the verifiable proof, they must remove the accounts which are listed below.
