Consumer Complaint: My credit report shows that there is a bankruptcy which was furnished without my knowledge or consent. I have in return received multiple adverse actions due to all credit reporting agencies. It has affected my family, my lifestyle and most of all has caused so much public humiliation. I have reached out to all credit reporting agencies and each and every single one of them denied the request to remove. You have already caused unreputable damage. Remove the Bankruptcy immediately I want all charge off accounts updated to PAID AS AGREED And all hard/negative inquires REMOVED COMPLETELY You have reported over XXXX transactions through negatively reporting my non public personal payment history. I also reached out to XXXX Bankruptcy XXXX Utah XXXX who also says they are not affiliate with ANY credit reporting agency. 15 USC 1681g ( a ) ( 5 ) a consumer reporting agency shall not furnish to any person a record of inquiries in connection with a credit or insurance transaction that is not initiated by a consumer. Per 15 U.S. Code 1681n ( b ) - Civil liability for willful noncompliance Any person who obtains a consumer report from a consumer reporting agency under false pretenses or knowingly without a permissible purpose shall be liable to the consumer reporting agency for actual damages sustained by the consumer reporting agency or {$1000.00}, whichever is greater. 16 CFR 433.3 - Exemption of sellers taking or receiving open end consumer credit contracts before XX/XX/1977 from requirements of 433.2 ( a ). 16 CFR 313.7 - Form of opt out notice to consumers ; opt out methods. 15 U.S. Code 6801 - Protection of nonpublic personal information 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information 15 U.S. Code 6809 ( 5 ) 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( q ) ( 3 ) Identity theft The term identity theft means a fraud committed using the identifying information of another person, subject to such further definition as the Bureau may prescribe, by regulation. 15 U.S. Code 1681n - Civil liability for willful noncompliance 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information

Consumer Complaint: 15 USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) clearly states that transactions between the consumer and the Person/Corporation making the report is NOT included on the consumer reports. Yet XXXX, XXXX XXXX Equifax is reporting this information. The reporting of excluded information pursuant to 15 USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) on a consumer report is a clear violation of Metro2 compliance. Provide me with the Metro2 compliance disclosure on reporting transactions to a consumer reporting agency. I need the transactions reporting as late, collection/charge-off status and any other derogatory information deleted from my consumer reports effective immediately. Before you think to reply that this account has been validated, lets be clear that I am not asking you to validate or verify anything. So please do not respond by telling me that as a tactic to waste my valuable time. Some of the negative accounts have been placed in Collection/Charge-Off Status WITHOUT mailing me a copy of IRS form 1099-C Cancellation of Debt. XXXX, XXXX, Equifax and the creditors reporting collections/Charge-Offs, late payments/other derogatory information in my consumer report are in violation of 26 USC ss 6050P Returns Relating to the Cancellation of Indebtedness By Certain Entities. If this derogatory account information is not deleted from my consumer reports within 30 days, I will be forced to officially file IRS form 3949A : Information Referral AND IRS form 211. Application For Award Original Information Overview with the Internal Revenue Service against ALL entities involved.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2024, I submitted a letter to Equifax declaring that they had violated my federally protected consumer rights on multiple occasions by publicly disclosing my personal information regarding multiple accounts to my credit report without my written instruction. Both 5 U.S.C. 552a ( b ) and 15 USC 1681b ( a ) ( 2 ) clearly state that a credit reporting agency may only furnish and report personal information to a credit report with the written instruction of the individual as to whom the report relates. Equifax has yet to take any action on the removal of these accounts from being publicly disclosed. It is Equifax 's duty to abide by the laws that allow for consumers rights to be protected, however they are NOT. The public disclosure of my personal information is damaging my reputation and causing me unnecessary emotional and mental stress.

I am distressed that you have included the information below in my credit profile and that you have failed to maintain reasonable procedures in your operations to assure maximum possible accuracy in the credit reports you publish.
