Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an issue I have encountered with the following accounts : XXXX - XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX - XXXX as reported on my credit report. I had previously sent these account for validation, and despite being returned as " accurately reporting, '' I still believe that the information is incorrect and that there was no proper proof of debt validation provided. Here are the details of my complaint : Inaccurate Reporting : The information related to the following accounts on my credit report is inaccurate. I have thoroughly reviewed the details, and I am certain that there are discrepancies that need to be addressed. The inaccuracies adversely affect my credit score and financial standing. Validation Request : I had submitted a request for debt validation to the listed accounts in accordance with my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). However, the response I received did not provide satisfactory proof of the debt 's validity. The lack of proper validation documentation raises concerns about the accuracy of the reported information. Impact on Credit Score : The inaccurate reporting of this account has had a significant negative impact on my credit score, affecting my ability to secure favorable terms on loans and credit. It is crucial that the inaccuracies be corrected promptly to restore the accuracy of my credit report. I kindly request that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to rectify the inaccuracies in the reporting of the above listed accounts. I also request that the bureau ensure proper validation of the debt in question. These accounts violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. XXXX XXXX # XXXX LOCAL GOVERNMENT FCU/P # XXXX XXXX U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions 15 U.S.C 1681c. ( a ) ( 5 ) Section States : no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. 15 U.S.C 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency of the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.

Consumer Complaint: I pulled up my credit files from each credit agency, XXXX, XXXX and Equifax. Each of these agencies are reporting accounts that do not belong to me. The accounts are listed as XXXX XXXX XXXX with account number # XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX with account number # XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX with account number # XXXX, XXXX XXXX under account number # XXXX. I have requested each credit agency to provide me with contracts that bear my signature that I signed for these accounts. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), a debt collector must respond to a request for a debt validation letter. If they don't, they're in violation of the act. I will be filing a complaint as well to Maryland State Attorney General Office. The dates the information was requested is XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023. As of today I have not gotten anything from any of the credit reporting agencies.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute for incorrect information on my credit report. I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.

Consumer Complaint: I requested XXXX XXXX to provide me with the original documentation with my signature that shows I I had authorized a debt of {$16000.00}. I requested this documentation last month I specifically requested a documentation to be mailed to me. I spoke with the rep from XXXX XXXX today who told me that they did not have the original documentation. It has been well over 30 days since I requested this documentation. Since XXXX XXXX has been unable to validate and provide me with the original documentation with my signature as requested within a 30 day time frame I want this creditor to be deleted from my consumer report from all three agencies. Equifax XXXX and XXXX. I have disputed with the three consumer reporting agencies but yet they still show inaccurate unverified information and they do not have the original documentation from the creditor because they are unable to provide the original documentation. My credit reports say that the vehicle was repossessed and written off but I never received a 1099-C From the original creditor legally I am supposed to receive a copy of that documentation that shows that the debt has been canceled so is either they refuse to give it to me or be they are intentionally and knowingly committing illegal actions against me and I will not stand for it.
