Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the numerous unsuccessful attempts I have made to correct the issue of late opening of accounts. It has come to my attention that despite multiple efforts on my part, the problem persists, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention for prompt resolution. I initiated the process to open an account with your institution. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the account opening process was delayed, and I was assured that the matter would be rectified promptly. I made a follow-up call to your customer service to inquire about the status of my account opening. Despite providing the necessary information and completing all required steps, the issue persisted. I have made several attempts to correct the late opening of my account, seeking assistance from your customer service representatives. Unfortunately, each attempt has been met with assurances but no concrete resolution. I am disheartened by the lack of progress in resolving this matter. The delayed opening of my account is causing considerable inconvenience, affecting my financial planning and overall experience with your institution. I urgently request the immediate activation of my account to ensure that I can access the services and benefits associated with it without further delay. Consumer Complaint: XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax continue to inaccurately report the account listed as XXXX XXXX XXXX. There is a balance showing as due when in fact the account should be listed as paid as agreed. The loan has been paid in full furthermore any finance charge is a purchase money loan which is a cash advance in lieu of the finance charge. Therefore I funded this loan and can not be indebted. The only reason the credit bureaus are inaccurately reporting the account is due to double dipping by being paid by XXXX XXXX XXXX while selling my personal information which puts my information at risk of being exposed due to data breaches. ( d ) Purchase money loan. A cash advance which is received by a consumer in return for a Finance Charge within the meaning of the Truth in Lending Act and Regulation Z, which is applied, in whole or substantial part, to a purchase of goods or services from a seller who ( XXXX ) refers consumers to the creditor or ( XXXX ) is affiliated with the creditor by common control, contract, or business arrangement. ( XXXX ) Financing a sale. Extending credit to a consumer in connection with a Credit Sale within the meaning of the Truth in Lending Act and Regulation Z. ( f ) Contract. Any oral or written agreement, formal or informal, between a creditor and a seller, which contemplates or provides for cooperative or concerted activity in connection with the sale of goods or services to consumers or the financing thereof. ( g ) Business arrangement. Any understanding, procedure, course of dealing, or arrangement, formal or informal, between a creditor and a seller, in connection with the sale of goods or services to consumers or the financing thereof. Despite my consistent efforts to address this issue, the fraudulent entries persist on my credit report, negatively impacting my financial well-being and personal life. The fraudulent items in question such as unauthorized accounts, incorrect information which have no association with my financial history or activities. These inaccuracies are damaging my creditworthiness, causing significant distress, and limiting my access to various financial services and opportunities. I want to outline the history of my attempts to resolve this issue : I initially noticed the fraudulent items on my credit report and promptly contacted your agency to dispute their accuracy. I provided the necessary documentation and evidence to support my claims of fraud and inaccuracy. I received a response from your agency stating that an investigation would be conducted and that the matter would be resolved within a reasonable timeframe. Despite the passage of several months, the fraudulent items were not removed, and I had not received any updates on the status of my dispute. I followed up with your agency, requesting an update on the investigation 's progress. I was informed that the matter was still under review. I provided additional information and documentation as requested by your agency. After several more months, I received a response stating that the investigation had been completed, and the fraudulent items would be removed from my credit report. To my dismay, when I checked my credit report, the fraudulent items were still present and had not been removed. This repeated failure to rectify the fraudulent items on my credit report is causing me severe distress and financial harm.
